So in the States, you've got My Golden Bachelor coming up as a TV show, and here in the UK, we've got My Mum, Your Dad, which is a show where kids put their single parents up into a reality TV situation where they potentially can find a partner. And I think this is a real cultural shift because how long ago was it— not very long— where we just didn't even want to think about our parents going on dates, where the whole idea of our parents having sex, going on dates, and all of that was really quite ick. And now we're actually being able to acknowledge that older people can date, they can have sex, they can meet somebody later in life, and why shouldn't they? I think it's really fantastic. And what's more evident from these kind of shows is that these people are genuine people. They're not trying to be Instagram famous, they're not trying to be social media celebrities. These are people who are genuinely going on shows because they really do want to meet a partner, and they think that this might be one possible way to do it. I think it takes tremendous guts, to be honest, to go on TV and to be that vulnerable and to acknowledge that, pretend that, you know, you might be lonely and you really do want to meet someone. And as someone who's been on lots of online dates and, um, you know, had relationships from that. I know that it's possible to meet somebody at any age, providing you are positive, you are hopeful, and you believe that it can actually happen.
