Anal Sex

Two hosts discuss anal sex for older adults, emphasizing that consent is non-negotiable and it should never be pursued under pressure from porn-driven expectations. They recommend generous water-based lubricant, slow preparation, and warn that pornography's unrealistic portrayal has led seniors to attempt it without proper knowledge and risk injury.

Anal sex, are we talking about that?
I don't know. I kind of feel that there has to be some sort of boundaries to what we talk about, but then we are Sex Advice for Seniors, so you know, it is sex.
It is. He's gone all shy all of a sudden. Have you noticed that? He's gone all shy. Look, I think anal sex is not obligatory, and just because some guys watch too much porn and he thinks that that's now part of the buffet, you Yeah, it can be if you want it to be, if you both enjoy it. A lot of people don't enjoy it, and I get that, but if you enjoy it, and then I think if it's all consensual, then great. But I also suspect that it's sort of entered the world of heteronormative sex mainly because of pornography, because I didn't do that kind of stuff when I was a younger person, and I— no, so, so So yeah, if somebody is insisting on it because they are like, "Hey, everybody does that." No, they don't. They don't. Everybody doesn't do that, but some people do. Many people enjoy it. If it's something that you enjoy, I say why not?
Firstly though, consensual is always the key.
Consensual is the key. Second thing is you absolutely 100% need to use lubricant. You cannot get away with it without doing that. Third thing is it takes a while to, you know, get that area prepped up and ready. So it's not like you see in porn where some guy just, you know, shoves it in there, because that's not how it goes. So if you want to experiment with trying that, then you need to use proper lubricant, water-based lubricant preferably, and you need to go slow. I would say that was my— that's my sex advice for for seniors advice. I don't see why we shouldn't be talking about that, frankly, because I think that there's a lot of stuff that goes on where people watch too much porn. They don't really get how it, it needs to go because in porn they don't show all of that sort of stuff, and as a result people get hurt. And I'm not in favor of people getting hurt. Are you in agreement with that?
I think that's right, yes. Consensual has to be the key, and you have to make sure that you prepare and all the rest of it, and blah blah blah.
And blah blah blah.
