Internet dating for oldies, part 7. Let's talk about online dating fatigue, which is when you've been on the sites for too long, you haven't met anybody, or you've met a bunch of unsuitable people and you're feeling totally fed up. My advice to you is take yourself off the site. Firstly, I never like to be anywhere on any of these sites for longer than 2 weeks, certainly not visible anyway. So put yourself on for a week or two, pause, go on to another one, stick yourself on there for a couple of weeks, and then do the same thing again. Because a bit like viewing a car that's been listed for too long, or anything else that you can see has been for sale for a significant period of time, you think to yourself, what's wrong with this? And the same applies to people, unfortunately. So my little hack is go on, Stay on for a week or two, come off, go on something else. That way you won't experience dating fatigue. You might meet a bunch of new people and hopefully you won't get as fed up as I know so many people do get.
