Being good in bed isn't about technique. It's about enthusiasm, wanting to please your partner, and actually listening to what they want. Communication and willingness to respond to feedback matter more than any special skill.

What does it actually mean to be good in bed? I suspect that it's not really about the technical ability that somebody has, although clearly you have to understand our human biology and how all the parts work, but it's more about a sense of enthusiasm for what you're doing, a desire to please your partner, and about some element of creativity. At least it is for me. I think that We're all so individual when it comes to what we like, and clearly being able to communicate what we like, having our partner hear what we like and reflect that back at us in a way that gives us pleasure is really what makes somebody a good lover, not particularly that they have a special skill or a special talent, because let's face it, that special skill or a special talent may not be something that all people enjoy. So bringing enthusiasm, having a good time, being able to communicate, and just being able to listen, hear, and reflect that back in a way that gives each other pleasure— that, for me, is what makes somebody really quite spectacular in bed.
