Let's talk about the 5 ways that you can meet somebody in real life, because lots of people were telling me about the scammers on dating sites, and I don't disagree with them. There's lots of scammers out there, but there's also different ways that you can meet people in real life, and here are my top 5. Number 1 is Meetup. Any type of interest that you've got, you're likely to find a group on Meetup of people that share that interest. So I definitely look on Meetup. There's also singles events and events for different age groups as well. Number 2, Eventbrite. Again, just searching for your general interest is gonna bring up a whole load of different events. Could be musical events, could be theatrical events, could be special interest events. Um, lots of different types of events that you'll find on Eventbrite. Many of them are free. Some of them are paid for too. Number 3, Facebook events. If you're on Facebook, then you can search for for events in your locality. And again, you'll find that loads of different types of events are on Facebook. Number 4, really local, hyperlocal, is Nextdoor. It operates in lots of different countries, and again, there is a whole event section. There's also special interest groups that you can join, as well as groups for singletons of over 40s, over 50s, etc. So do check out your own Nextdoor store and see what's going on there. And then number 5, if you're in the UK, I belong to an organization called IVC. That's I, V for Victor, C for Charlie. And IVC organize loads of different types of events from free events, museum visits, social events, theater events, all sorts of events. And again, it's a really great way to meet people, lots of whom are older. So I definitely recommend checking out IVC. So there you go, 5 different ways that you can meet people in real life.
