I want to give a big shout out today to my friend Anne Philpott of The Pleasure Project, who was featured 2 days ago in the New York Times talking about the work that she does around making safe sex sexy. I know it's challenging. Condoms— well, I haven't always gotten along with them, but I think at our age, the rise of STDs, all that kind of stuff, We gotta use them. And how do you make them sexy? The other day I thought, you know what, I'm going to use them with someone that I regularly have sex with and don't use them with because I just felt like it, and I thought it was a little bit naughty, if I'm honest. And I just changed my head around how I think about all of this sort of stuff. He didn't seem to mind. In fact, he quite enjoyed it, and just me kind of taking control of you know, ripping the packet, doing all the stuff that goes around condoms. I thought it was quite horny, actually, and I think with safer sex, it really is just a matter of changing the way you think about it because it doesn't have to be icky, it doesn't have to stop the flow of everything. In fact, it can make it all kind of quite exciting and sexy depending on how you do it, and I think as a woman, taking control of that situation is quite quite exciting, and it's one way to spice up your sex life in a safe way. So yeah, I'm just so thrilled for Anne. Amazing woman. Go and read the New York Times, Google The Pleasure Project. She's doing the most amazing work, and she's been doing this for so long, and this recognition that she's got in the New York Times is 100% deserved. She's a star.
