I know lots of people moan about getting older and all the crap that sometimes accompanies older age

I was with some super sexy, super smart, fun working women last night, all of whom were younger than me, having come from an evening the night before that was juicy and delicious with someone lovely, and thinking, you know what, we're so lucky at this age, so many of us, if you are healthy, if your kids are out of the house, to be able to make decisions about the kind of relationships we want. Because let's face it, we don't have to be responsible for anyone else now if we don't want to. We can go out as single people enjoying ourselves with our friends, with our lovers, whoever, without having to have all that responsibility that often accompanies being a younger woman, bringing up kids, managing your working life, etc. So all I'm saying to all you older people out there is stop bloody moaning because you know what? We've got it good.
