Let's talk about safe sex. I know, kind of a boring topic, right? But unfortunately, the incidence of STIs amongst the over 50s is growing, and that's because I suspect a lot of us think that we don't need to worry about using products like condoms because we're not going to get pregnant anymore. But unfortunately, there's lots of things out there, some of which are hard to detect, like chlamydia, for example, that that we can contract, so we should always think about safe sex. We're very lucky with the NHS that they provide self-testing kits that you can get, and you can get your results in a few days. But everybody, I don't care what your gender is, should be carrying around condoms just to make sure that if you get into a situation where you might wanna be intimate with somebody, you both are prepared. And I don't think it's solely down to men to be carrying condoms. Ladies, it's so easy to put one in your handbag as well. And why not? Because if you do get into that circumstance and some guy turns around and says, 'Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't bring any condoms with me,' then you can say, 'Not a problem, I brought some myself.'
