I want to talk about how vulnerable many women, myself included, feel about having an orgasm in front of a guy. I know that it's not easy for me. I like to keep my eyes closed because I just don't want to feel that I'm being watched or under any sort of pressure. Having an orgasm is one of those times when I feel really exposed. My body's going to do what it wants to do. I may make a loud noise. I may feel like it's kind of, might be even slightly comical but I know for me that it doesn't happen all the time. I need to be really comfortable and I need to feel that I'm not under any pressure. So if somebody tells me, for instance, that they really want to make me come, that's just a complete passion killer because it makes it even harder. I feel like I'm having to live up to some sort of expectation and that is not what I want when I'm having an orgasm. So I think that we all need to consider that that having an orgasm as a woman isn't the same as just jerking off as a guy. It can be quite difficult, especially as an older woman, and if you're feeling vulnerable, you're not alone. Um, but I think like everything else in sex, it's worth having that conversation with your partner so that you can feel freer and more comfortable about coming in front of him.
