A woman keeps her sexual relationships casual because deeper involvement with partners reveals misogynistic views she can't accept, like the belief women shouldn't work. Raised by a working mother and a working mother herself, she finds these attitudes make continued intimacy impossible.

I have to say, one of the reasons why I like to keep things light and casual with most of the people that I have sex with is because the more I get to know them, the more I discover things about them which aren't necessarily so appealing. For instance, when I'm with someone that ends up telling me that they don't think that women should be working, or, and that they were happier back in the days when they were just being a housewife looking after the you know, all that sort of stuff. And having grown up with a working mother my whole life and having been a working mother again my whole life, I really take offense at people who actually believe that sort of stuff. And of course it makes me less likely to want to have sex with them. So I prefer to keep things just light because otherwise it's not very sexy when you find out that the person that you're fucking is is actually a misogynist.
