Look, I know this is probably pot calling the kettle black, but let's do Internet Dating for Oldies Part 9. I'm not looking at my best. It's really hot here and my hair is a bit frizzy. But anyway, what I really want to talk about is men and their profile pics. One of the things that women say to me constantly is that they're so disappointed swiping through all of these profile pics where men clearly haven't made any effort to make themselves look as attractive as possible. One friend of mine wrote recently that all the guys seem to be wearing sunglasses or trying to do some sort of physical activity like bicycling, for instance, where they're wearing Lycra shorts, and perhaps they're significantly too large to be able to wear those kind of things without looking, well, frankly, silly. But you know what? All of us should really make an effort when it comes to online dating to try and look our best because we're trying to reflect ourselves in the best possible light. So guys, if you are trying to attract a woman, get somebody else to take your picture. Make sure that you're looking as attractive as you possibly can be. No sunglasses. Make sure that we can see your eyes. We don't want to see you doing any physical activity. We just want to see you looking happy, relaxed, comfortable, and you know, like I said, just generally your most attractive self. That's what we want. And I suspect if you do that, you're going to find that you're going to get a hell of a lot more matches.
