So this is my part 2 of coming out on a short vacation with somebody that I've been on 3 dates with. Day 1, I ended up having to move out of the hotel room that we were staying in because I just couldn't get any sleep. So I moved into a hotel room across town on my own where I've been very happy, I have to say. Uh, haven't seen him very much because he's been working. He's here on a conference, so we've had 2 dinners. Today was supposed to be our free day, but some other work stuff has come up, so I'm going to be exploring the city again on my own. And then we're flying home from different airports in Istanbul, so, so that's that. Um, we didn't sit together on the plane because they couldn't find us two seats together, and really I haven't seen that much of the guy. Although clearly, even though he's almost 60, he's still working very hard and this hasn't been much of a break for him, but it's been a lovely break for me and I went on a nice walk yesterday with some people who I got to know and went out to lunch with. So if you are an older person and worried about traveling on your own, traveling solo, I suggest hooking up with a walking group because there's always going to be some people our own age there, and you just never know what's going to happen.
