Some very big news in the UK, which is that MHRA, which is the regulatory body that approves the use of medicines in the UK, has now approved a cream, a testosterone cream suitable for women. Up until now, women like myself who are on testosterone have had to settle for the male testosterone and just use a very tiny amount of it instead of the dosage normally prescribed for men because there just hasn't been the the testosterone available suitable for us. That product Androphem is available in other countries like Australia, and you can get it privately here, but it's very expensive. And personally, I don't wanna spend £100 on a tube of testosterone. So we've all had to settle, those of us who don't wanna spend that money, on this male product. But because of the MHRA decision, it means that it will now go through the testing for the NHS, which means that we could see it come on the market by sometime in 2026, which is super exciting. Um, what's testosterone for? Mainly it's prescribed for women with low libido. It improves arousal, it improves libido, it improves the ability to orgasm. It can also contribute towards strain. So lots and lots of really great reasons as an older woman to be on testosterone. You can get it, like I said, the male version at the through the NHS like I do. If any of these symptoms are ones that you struggle with, go and see your doctor and ask to be referred to a specialist.
