Talk about lack of libido and testosterone. I have been trying to get testosterone out of my doctor for a while now. I live in the UK, I have access to the NHS, but finally yesterday I had my appointment with the doctor and he said, yeah, no problem. And I'm going to be prescribed a testosterone gel that I have to use daily. What's the point of testosterone? Well, if you're an older woman struggling with low libido, then testosterone is going to help improve that. It also just helps improve strength and muscles in general. And basically, I'm doing this to try and improve my libido, improve desire, and my friend who's on it says that the orgasms should get better as well. So what's not to like? Um, yeah, if you haven't explored testosterone and you are struggling with low libido and you're an older woman, then definitely go and see your doctor. Have a discussion about that, and I will certainly be letting you know how it goes from my side. Does take a few weeks, if not months, to actually have an impact, but I'm looking forward to getting started.
