Of course, one of the things we often have to deal with in a relationship is conflict and how we resolve conflict. Um, whether you've been in a long-term relationship or you're just starting out on a new relationship, there will come a point at which you have to resolve conflict, and often that is about taking responsibility for things. I've been in two quite long marriages And I realize now that I've had a couple of years on my own to think about it, is that, um, I was not prepared to take responsibility for those relationships, uh, and that I tended to shove the blame for things onto my partner. Whether that be sexual or anything else really within the relationship. And that's something I think we have to get over, that we have to be able to take responsibility for our own shitty behavior and not blame other people for it, and specifically not blame our partner. That you are never going to have a zinging and hot sexual relationship with someone if you see them as responsible for your misery all the time. Take the blame yourself and take responsibility for yourself within a relationship.
