I want to talk about avoidant attachment styles because I have to laugh because every time I open TikTok, it seems like I'm being shown a video by some therapist about avoidant attachment styles. And I don't know why they're showing this to me because I don't think I've got an avoidant attachment style. I just think I'm a woman who likes to do what I like to do, and I'm not necessarily seeking a monogamous relationship. And frankly, why should I? I'm having a very nice time. I have some good friends, playmates, people that I enjoy being with. I travel to a warm place during the winter, and I know that in the past when I've been involved in vanilla monogamous relationships, I have just found myself feeling very unhappy. I don't think that makes me avoidant. I just think that makes me a woman who knows what I like.
