Let's talk about body image. I suspect like many people, like many women my age, sometimes I look down at my body and I go, "Ick!" There's bits of, you know, loose skin, stuff that wasn't there when I was younger. My hips are a little bit wider, and I know that when I'm not feeling attractive in my body, then I'm not attracting other people to me. It's as simple as that. And I know that since I got more involved with fitness, exercising, watching what I eat, getting back into shape, getting back into my clothes, which was a really big one, then I definitely feel more attractive. I feel like my libido is increased, and I just feel like the best version of myself. And I don't think enough can be said about really taking fitness seriously as an older person. There is so much scientific evidence that demonstrates that concentrating on stuff like strength training can make a massive difference to your health and to longevity and just basically to living a longer and healthier life.
