I want to talk about the tremendous amount of pressure that society places upon us as women to be attractive, to be slim, to look good, to look after our health, to be— and that is part and parcel of being sexually attractive to other people. And it doesn't matter whether you're a younger woman, where I think there's an enormous amount of pressure, certainly more pressure than I felt as a younger woman. But it doesn't ever really go away. As older women, we are under the microscope and we kind of have to decide whether or not we wanna buy into all of that sort of stuff, whether we want to spend all that time and money, frankly, on the way that we look, or if we're just gonna, you know, get on with it and deal and just go out into the world the way that makes us happy, which doesn't necessarily attract other people to us, but, you know, we feel comfortable in our own skin. And one thing that I notice about older men especially is that, you know, when they get to 40, they may suddenly look down and a belly appears that was never there before, and they have to decide whether or not they want to suddenly go to the gym, get fit, change their diet, do all of this sort of stuff, or if they are just gonna just get on with their lives. And I see a lot of guys that just frankly just let themselves go. They just don't seem to give a shit. And in a few cases in my life, that has led to quite serious consequences where they're no longer here on the planet because, you know, they drank too much or they ate too much, or they just didn't frankly look after their health. But I think all of us have a responsibility to try and present ourselves to the world in the best possible way that we can, and men are not excluded from that. And so if you think that having this big belly means that you're still going to be attracted to us as women, well, think again.
