How do you make your female partner feel in a heterosexual relationship if you hear that she slept with significantly more people than you have? Do you slut shame her? Do you make her feel bad? Or do you accept that all of that stuff happened in the past, it's got nothing to do with you, and continue in your relationship the way it was before? I know that I've been in relationships in the past where I was with someone who was in a very long marriage, came out, met me. I've been single on and off for 20 years and didn't really want to know or hear when I told him that the number of people that I slept with was considerably more than him. But, you know, we've all— those of us who have been around on this earth for 6 decades or more, the likelihood is that we have slept with a number of people. Could be very few, could be very much, but it doesn't really matter if you're in a relationship with somebody now. That number is in the past.
