during my research when I was doing my book talking about relationships and sexual activity in the older population, I was very surprised that women tend to peak at their sexual satisfaction. Guess what? At the age of 64. And that was a very interesting fact for me because men tend to switch off at 50. And unfortunately, women continue to have those sexual urges. And I think one of the things that we tend to forget is that we are sexual beings. And just because we age doesn't mean that our sexual activity falls off or our desire for sexual activity falls off. And I'm not ashamed. I'm almost 70. And when I talk to women who are probably most of them are my age, we all laugh and joke about how the men have just kind of sidestepped of wanting to sexually involve.
