When i consider how much time I wasted in my youth worrying about whether a completely average guy

A woman warns against settling for average men or staying in relationships that don't fulfill you. She explains why desperation reads as unattractive, why overloaded dating profiles backfire, and why older men without close friendships tend to smother their partners.

Good afternoon. So I've been doing these videos for a while, and one thing that I would say that needs to be said is, women, do not underestimate your value. Do not sell yourself short. Do not end up in relationships that don't serve you just because you're so desperate to be with someone. A, it's not attractive, and B, it's not necessary. One of the things that I've noticed, and I've spoken about it before, is that when you're on dating apps, for instance, don't go too overboard in terms of all your interests and all the wonderful things that you are, and suggest that you might be up for it even if you're not up for it. Suggest that you might be, because in the early stages of a relationship, most straight guys looking for a heteronormative relationship are primarily thinking with their lower brain, and they're not interested in all the other stuff. So you don't need to overload in your profile, nor do you need to get involved in a situation where you're just constantly box ticking and unsatisfied with whoever that you meet and you find, because nobody is going to tick all of your boxes. Nobody on this planet. And that's why we have friends and other people that we can do stuff with so that we can explore and do together all the things that we love to do. And they don't have to be with just one person. And that goes doubly true for men who— especially older men who I see sometimes struggle with not having enough friends and therefore invest so much energy in, in their relationships with a woman that the woman just feels overwhelmed by this requirement to be all things to all people, or in this case, to all of one man. So ladies, don't sell yourself short. Just one more thing I'd like to add is that this channel has been stuck on 53,800 followers for now, like, I don't know, like 2 months. And although I'm not a slave to the algorithm, God, it would be nice to see more people follow us 'cause I've been doing this for a while and Peter occasionally pops in, as you've probably seen. So if you do like what we're doing and what we say, then can you please hit that follow button? Because I just really like that.
