It is a single-speaker informational piece aimed at older adults—especially women—about solo sexual pleasure and sex-toy recommendations for later life. The presenter explains age-related changes in genital sensitivity and recommends simple, easy-to-use toys (bullets, simple vibrators, rabbit-type internal + clitoral toys), air-pulse/clit-sucker devices, G-spot and prostate toys, and practical buying tips (rechargeable, waterproof, quiet, medical-grade silicone, use water-based lubricant, buy discreetly). The speaker also promotes a 32-page booklet, "Sex Toys and Supplements for Thriving in Later Life," offers a 50% off code via DM, and invites viewers to subscribe to a weekly newsletter at sexadviceforseniors.com.

Let's talk about the best toys for older women's solo pleasure. I know that there's a lot of shame around self-pleasure. Some of it is cultural, some of it is just because we weren't taught that it was okay, some of it is around our own shame around our bodies, but there's so many reasons why self-pleasuring is good for you, especially when you get older, and why using toys becomes essential. And that's because as we get older as women, the smaller nerves in our clitoris become less sensitive and the larger nerves take over, and those larger nerves respond well to vibrations. Now, there are so many toys available on the market, it can be difficult to know where to start.— and I always say start with something incredibly simple, something like a bullet, for example, or a simple vibrator that's just got maybe 1 or 2 buttons, because some of these vibrators have got so many buttons, they're so complicated, and they make it very difficult to know what does what. So I travel with a small bullet vibrator. I find it does the trick. It's USB rechargeable, which I would also suggest is essential, otherwise you go through tons of batteries. It's waterproof, and let's face it, using a vibrator in the shower can be lots of fun, and it's really, really simple to use. But if you prefer internal penetration, then obviously there are other types of toys like rabbit-type vibes that you can use. Some of them will give you internal vibration and clitoral stimulation. And then let's talk about air pulse technology, because this is a new type of technology that basically creates air vibrations around through a kind of sucking motion and is really great for clitoral stimulation. I have one toy in particular that I absolutely wouldn't go without that is a clit sucker, which is what it's called, and it is just fantastic. Sometimes I use it with my partner, sometimes I use it on my own. And G-spot stimulation also changes with age. So you can look at toys that are just specifically for that. And then let's talk about just some of the basic stuff that really matters. Quiet toys. Some of the toys can be incredibly noisy, but you will see when you look at toy shops such as Lovehoney, for example, that they will rate toys by how quiet they are. Rechargeable toys do matter. Nobody wants to be going out to the shop to buy batteries every other day. And again, look for the kind of material toys are made of. Most good toys are made with medical silicone, and those are washable. You can use them in the shower most times. They last for years. And of course, let's not leave out men, because prostate toys can be absolutely great as well. And then finally, always keep lubricant at hand, because lubricant and toys are just the ideal combination, especially if you're using toys internally. You always want to be using some water-based lubricant with your toys just to make that easier and more comfortable. And you can combine shallow penetration with lube. And if you want, buy them discreetly if privacy matters. There's loads of online shops that you can be going to. And finally, I produced a 32-page booklet called Sex Toys and Supplements for Thriving in Later Life. It's got all my favorite toys, both for men and for women.
