35. "Who Are You, Really?"
2 Dec 2022 · 39 min
Tessa Romero argues that identity, not thoughts or feelings, drives behavior and healing. She walks through how changing who you believe you are shifts everything else, using listener stories to explore shame, self-forgiveness, and boundaries. She also describes her 12-week Mind Body Alignment course launching in December.

Hello, my beautiful friend and welcome to the Mind Body Alignment podcast. I'm your host, Tessa Romero, and also your coach. I'm here to teach you powerful skills and tools to not only know who you are, but how to become exactly who you want to be with a mindset that finally supports you. I'm so grateful that you're here. Let's get started. Hello, hello, sweet friends and happy December holiday season. Whatever it is for you, I. I truly hope that your mind is in a place that makes this the best holiday season you have ever had, simply because you are controlling who you are rather than trying to control your circumstances. Now, if you don't feel like you're quite there, I hope to be of assistance to you because I know what that feels like to not be in that place of just focusing on who you are and what you choose to think and what you choose to do in the face of your circumstances. So today's episode, we are going to be going through who you are, right? And the messy middle that it takes to go through to get to who you want to be. I really want to paint this picture for you because yesterday on my Instagram I got a message that I just feel so many could relate to and I wanted to expand on it further here. So I'm going to start off with the message. And she said, hey, I got your email. I'm interested in joining the 12 week course which is Mind body alignment and worried. Worried whether it will work or not. Like if I actually truly am an angry mom, resentful wife, lazy homemaker, ungrateful and hateful person. That last one's straight from my aunt and my mom from our family vacation this summer. I see your stories and would love to be like that, but I feel so tired and unmotivated. It's hard to be solo. My husband is deployed more often than not and. And when I think I should be grateful I get to stay home and homeschool my kids. Part of me responds, if I was out working, I'd get lunch breaks. How real is that? So real. Right? And she's not alone in the way that she's thinking about these circumstances or feeling in her life right now. We both know that she's not alone and that's why I wanted to dedicate a whole episode to this because there's so many golden pieces in this message and that you can start working on right now. And Obviously in my 12 week course, I can take you through step by step and we will do the deep dive into your identity for Two weeks and into your mindset for three weeks and into shame and boundaries. Right? Because if someone's telling you you're an ungrateful and hateful person, she said that straight from her aunt and mom from this family vacation this past summer. That doesn't mean it's who you are. That's just what they said. But we could have boundaries in place that better help to protect you and respect them. Because just because you're setting a boundary does not mean that you have to get out of alignment with who you want to be. You don't have to be cold, harsh, mean, disconnected, and angry to set a boundary. Absolutely not. And that's why who you believe you are is so important. It's so valuable. So let's go back to that piece. Now that I've read that message to you, we're really going to kind of go back and forth, connect the pieces, and I hope that this episode serves you tremendously. So who you are, you are not your thoughts. Let's say you have a thought that says, I can't do this. I am exhausted. You're not your feelings. You may feel exhausted. And that's valid. There are totally times that I feel exhausted too. But there's a difference in attaching to your feelings and becoming them. How often do we do that? How often do we say, I'm angry and we become the feeling? I used to do that. I used to do that all the time. And that's what led to me ignoring my husband, yelling and screaming at family members, and just not being who I wanted to be. And then feeling further disconnected with myself because I knew that I was not being who I wanted to be. And I truly believe that the most painful thing we experience is not being who we want to be, not being who we know we can be. We can go through some really painful things in our life, but I swear, being out of alignment has got to be the most painful because it's an attack on self. It's like, you know, you're not showing up in your life, and then those feelings just get deeper and stronger and weigh you down even more. And then your actions get further and further away from who you want to be. So if you're not your feelings and you're not your thoughts, are you your roles? I am a daughter. I am a niece to my aunt. I am a wife. I am a mother. Those are your roles that you choose to show up in. You choose to show up in those roles. You can have kids and choose not to show up as A mother. It's true. You can totally abandon your kids and we act like we can't. You can. It is an option. But you won't do it. Why? Because it's not who you are. You are not going to do something that does not align with who you are, with who you believe you are. So you're not going to abandon your kids because you don't believe that that's who you are. So in your mind you're saying, that's absolutely out of the question. That's totally never going to happen. Why? Because of who you believe you are. You believe you are a reliable mother, that you're present, attentive, engaged, interactive, dependable. That's who you believe you are as a mother. And that's why you show up every single day, even when it feels so hard. It's not because you have to. You see how mindset plays in there? We tell ourselves, oh, I have to do this. Well, then we start resenting the role that we are choosing to be in. We're choosing to live in this role. And we start to resent it. Not because of the role itself, but because of what we think about it. Your mindset is so powerful, but your identity is the anchor, right? So I, I know I coach you guys through mindset a bunch and that's because I love how practical it is and how easy it can be to implement right away. Right away, like the mindset. This isn't to upset me. I mean, that's so easy to implement. But trying to coach someone through their identity in a 40 second reel, I mean, gosh, Instagram would love for me to make 15 second reels. Can you imagine me trying to do that in a 15 second reel? Come on. So I love to share on Instagram, just the practical tips, tools, strategies, coaching that you can be implementing right now. Because I truly want to help you. And then here in the podcast, I love to dig deeper with you. Like, let's talk about identity, let's talk about shame, let's talk about boundaries and really the root of your thoughts. And then in my emails, I do the same thing. But in my coaching program, in my coaching program, I get to work with you. We get to find out why it is you think the way you do about yourself. What experiences have created these predictions in your life? Why do you attach to, to what your mom and aunt say about you on a family vacation over the summer? Why do you hold on to all of that? Do you control other people? What they think about you, what they say about You. No, you never have and you never will. So why do you keep a perspective that is I am what they say I am instead of wow, they are responsible for what they say. What they're saying is coming from a place within them, not me. That's not true about me. You could have, you could totally have that mindset. So in my 12 week course, I teach you how to dig deeper, how to go deeper within yourself so that you can heal the hurt that's there. The reason why you're attaching to what other people are saying about you is because part of you believes it's true. That's the part your mind has been conditioned to see in yourself. So when someone else says it, it's just like a. See, I knew it. And your mind spends no effort whatsoever trying to prove it wrong. But it could. You could easily prove that you are not an ungrateful and hateful person, 100%. You could easily prove that you're not an angry mom. And you could easily prove that you're not a resentful, resentful wife or lazy homemaker. You could do that. But your mind is not doing it. Why? Because you have not been conditioned to prove those negative thoughts wrong. You have been conditioned to believe what is said about you. So consider my 12 week course. I'm telling you with every ounce of me. I only run it twice a year. And it has changed literally hundreds of women's lives just because they change who they believe they are. And when you change who you believe you are, well now you've changed what you're going to think each day. And when you change what you think, you're going to change the way you feel. And when you change the way you feel, you're going to change what you do each day. And that's how your whole life changes. Not because the circumstances changed or other people changed. Your aunt, your mom, your kids. It's not because you won a million dollar lottery. No, it's because you changed who you believe you are. So going back to who you believe you are, you are not your roles. The role is what you're choosing to show up in, in your life. This is a, it's a meaningful place for you to be. And so you choose to do it. It means so much to you. It's a priority, like motherhood, being a wife, in your career, as a daughter, whatever it is for you. Those roles are valuable, but they're still not who you are. And here's a good visual for you. So imagine that your roles are like pillars in your life. This is how I love to imagine it in my mind. So I have three pillars in my life that mean the most to me. Being a wife, being a mother, and being a coach. Those are the three pillars. And I imagine these pillars standing on top of this concrete, rock solid foundation, right? How else would the pillars stand up? They're definitely not going to stand up on air, right? They've got to have something there. So that something there, that rock solid, concrete foundation is me. It's who I am. That's my identity. I am the person that shows up in my roles. It's me showing up as a wife. It's me showing up as mother. It's me showing up as a coach. And those three pillars to me are just, they're the non negotiables, right? They're the things that I'm going to prioritize the absolute most in my life. And I love that. So you need to decide what are my pillars and those are gonna be your roles. And then who are you as the foundation that those pillars stand on, but you're not your feelings. I am overwhelmed, I am exhausted. I am lazy. I feel overwhelmed, I feel exhausted, I feel lazy. And the step after that is stepping into the empowered identity that says I feel overwhelmed. What can I do to help myself? What's the first step I can take? I know I can take one step because you know who you are. So now your thoughts are serving you instead of hurting you. What would it look like, sound like for our thoughts to be hurting us? I am overwhelmed and I'm always like this and there's nothing I can do and I don't have enough help. And it's always gonna be this way. Okay, yeah, that's not helping. That's not helping. And thoughts are not facts. You are not your thoughts. And you're never going to control all of your thoughts. Did you know that you only consciously control and are aware 5% of your thoughts? The other 95%, they're just programming. That's where the experiences come in and we make predictions and it's so rapid fire that you're lucky to catch it. You're lucky if it comes up to the conscious awareness of 5%. So how do you recondition the 95% using the 5%? You go into who you believe you are. You change your intentional thoughts about your circumstances. You intentionally change your actions. You do the things that will help you feel the way you want to feel, even when you don't feel like doing them right. You do the things you need to do before, the things you want to do. All the things that I've been teaching you here in that 5%, you can control all of those things. Now, the 95% is going to throw some baggage at you, right? It's going to push you, it's going to challenge you because you're doing something that it's not used to and that feels uncomfortable. All growth feels uncomfortable. Stand up right now and do five air squats. Was that comfortable? Probably not, right? Your body feels like it's working because it's getting stronger, it's growing. And that's a good thing. But again, that 95% of our mind is so quick to say, oh, this feels so uncomfortable. I can't do. Must not be right because it feels uncomfortable. The only reason why it feels uncomfortable is because you're growing. And growing is a good thing. But again, that's mindset. That's why mindset is so valuable. But who are you really? If you're not your thoughts, you're not your feelings, you're not your roles, Are you what other people say about you? Like that message that she sent me, My mom said. My mom and my aunt said that I am. What did she say? Ungrateful and a hateful person. Is that who you are just because someone else said that about you? No. No, that's not who you are either. Because everything that we say about someone else comes from us. We are the people saying it. And everything in life is just a projection. That's it. So if someone was truly healed, let's imagine this really healed person. They're very at peace in their life. They know exactly who they are. They are showing up in a way that they feel proud of. Could you imagine that person going up to someone and saying, you are hateful and ungrateful? It's just, you are a hateful and ungrateful person. I truly cannot imagine that ever happening. Why? Because healed people heal people and hurt people hurt people. So does it sound like a helpful thought or a hurtful thought to communicate to someone you are an ungrateful and hateful person? Well, that would be an unhelpful thought that someone is communicating and it's coming from their mind. Now, why would they want to say that to you? Well, one, hurt people hurt people. But two, if you are the ungrateful and hateful person, then it's you that needs to change. Everyone's waiting on you to change. I don't need to change. Right. I'll be happy when you change. Well, that would be the victim mentality. Loud and proud, right? Blaming, complaining, and justifying. Three signs of the victim mentality right there. And when someone says these hurtful things to you, they're not helping the situation. They're not prevent. They're not presenting valuable solutions. Right. Areas of focus. They're not being an empathetic witness for you. They're not being vulnerable. It takes zero vulnerability to be hateful and hurtful. No vulnerability there whatsoever. And vulnerability requires healing. It requires strength to show up and say, look, this is it. This is what I'm going through. That is your greatest strength, vulnerability. It's not vulnerable to tell someone you are hateful and ungrateful. No, that would be the victim mentality. That says, it's you, not me. It's pointing a finger at someone else. But what we want to do is always keep that finger pointed at us. How do I need to show up for this person? What can I do to serve here? How can I make things better? What's my empowered action to take here? That's where we want to be. Not pointing fingers. I can't be happy because of you. I scream because of you. I'm not happy at the family gathering because of you. Like, no, no. We are never responsible for someone else in that way. We don't control what other people think, what other people say, what other people do, how other people feel. Unless you've been conditioned to think that. Think about your childhood. And yes, all this goes back to identity. It is all connected. How many of you raise your hand are saying, I am a people pleaser. Okay, that's identity. I am a people pleaser. You are reaffirming who you don't want to be. I don't want to be a people pleaser, but I am a people pleaser. No, you have a tendency of people pleasing. Why do you have that tendency? Well, because you were raised to believe that you are responsible for how other people feel. You make your parents mad. You made someone embarrassed. You made them scream. You made them throw the thing. You made them hit you. I'm sorry that I did that, but you really need to stop this behavior. Okay? Yeah, that's not helpful. It's not. Not total ownership on their end. And it's not empowerment. It's like a parent taking the victim mentality and then throwing it at our kids. It's you. I can't be the mom I want to be because of you. This is why I love this work so much. Because working with you means we're changing generations just by default. So when we go back to these messages, this is what I responded to her. I said, I wish I could jump through the phone and hug you while punching your inner bully right in the face. The inner bully is that voice that says, this won't work for me. I am an angry wife. I am. I'm sorry, an angry mom, a resentful wife, a lazy homemaker, an ungrateful and hateful person. I want to punch that bully in the face because it's not true. It's not true about you. And I said, did you know? My mom told me you are the most unforgiving person I've ever met. And I full heartedly believed it with every ounce of me. It was what I was conditioned to not only think, but to look for and be that way in my life. Who we believe we are will always shine through, for better or worse. This course and this work isn't easy. You become very aware of that inner bully and just how much you have experienced in life. I walk by your side every step of the way while teaching you real skills and tools. Skills and tools that the people my mom, your aunt, your mom don't have. Do you really think happy, healthy, loving people go around speaking that way about others? Kicking people that are already down? No unhappy victim mentality. Unhealed people do that and it's always a cry for help. We are loving at our deepest level. Who are you at your deepest level? Loving. Accepting. That's how we were born. Look at your kids. They're so accepting. They're so loving. That's the way we're born. She said, I'm definitely interested in learning those skills and tools you're teaching along with your mentioning forgiving. I know you chose at some point to forgive your mom because you mentioned it in your Disney stories. Is that like a requirement? Do we have to forgive everyone? I'm at a point where I'm not ready to do so. Particularly the same aunt I mentioned earlier. This is what I replied with. No, not at all. Forgiving you is the only requirement. Pause that. Mind body alignment is not about other people. It is about you. I am not going to mention your forgiveness to other people, even with boundaries. I teach you how you can set boundaries with other people, but our main focus is personal boundaries. Why? Because you only have to be concerned of you crossing your boundary rather than setting a million boundaries and having a million people cross them. You have a boundary with yourself and you protect it. And that's so much more effective. Yes, you want to communicate boundaries with other people, and I can teach you how to do that as well. But mind, body alignment is about you. It's about your identity, your mindset, your shame, your self. Forgiveness. It's not about, oh, you need to forgive this person, this person, this person. You'll get there when you're ready, and you will know when you're ready. But right now, you can forgive you. So going back to the message, I said, you'll be amazed at how much you're holding against yourself that is truly preventing you from being and doing what you want to do. This course is entirely about you. You don't have to forgive anyone, but I will teach you how to forgive yourself. I also teach you boundaries so you can set, keep and maintain them while in alignment with who you want to be. She said, oh, wow. I didn't expect that answer at all. Yep, I totally need to learn to set boundaries. So anyway, I wanted to just share that with you because it's real, it's raw. And maybe you're thinking that too. Maybe you are identifying with what other people have said about you, just like she did with her aunt and her mom. Just like I did when my mom said that I was the most unforgiving person she's ever met. Did you know that I went to therapy when I was pregnant with Liam because I was so desperate to understand this anger and release it. I just wanted freedom from the anger. And I was carrying for so long, 12 years, and I finally just. I was done. I wanted the freedom. I wanted to be over it. I wanted to get over it, move on, forgive everybody. So I sat on the therapist couch our first session. I will never forget this. Her name was Chelsea. She was fantastic. I sit on her couch, super pregnant, and she said, okay, well, what's going on? How can. What. What do you need? How can I help you? And I just fly flat out. Said, I need you to teach me how to forgive people because I don't know how to do it, and I can't. I can't forgive people. Okay, first of all, wow. Second, she never taught me how to forgive people. I believe therapy is a valuable resource, and I encourage you to go to it. It helps you understand so much about your life and other people. But coaching is different than therapy. And I will say that coaching is different than therapy. You can do both. In my coaching program, I will teach you what I wish I would have known when I was going on this journey, that it's okay to forgive me first. And how exactly I can do that. How to approach my shame in a way that I didn't feel terrified of. Felt so scary when I would think about my shame that I just wanted to hide from it. And then I was wondering, why do I numb so much? Why do I binge eat? Why do I lash out? Why do I shut down? Why do I ignore? Why do I mindlessly scroll my phone? Why do I procrastinate? Numbing, numbing. You are never going to push your shame so far down that you never. That you don't feel it anymore. And you're never going to outrun your past. You're never going to do those things. But you will feel the exhaustion from running and the weight from pushing all that shame down. And I know what that's like. It's like, imagine you want to climb Mount Everest, and you find two instructors. One instructor has read the book about Mount Everest and is teaching you how to do it from the book. And then the other instructor says, I never read that book, but I did climb Mount Everest. Which instructor would you choose? Personally? I would choose the person that climbed Mount Everest just personally. I want the person with experience. I want the person that has been there, done, that, knows the little paths, the hidden gems and ways to help me prepare for that moment of weakness that I'm gonna hit. I want someone that can tell me, yeah, at this point, altitude, these things are gonna happen, and you need to be prepared for that. This is what it feels like in your body. This is what it is gonna sound like in your mind. You're gonna have a point where you say, I can't do this anymore. It's too hard. I want to go back to the way it was before, when I was just the victim in all of this. You're going to have times that that happens. And it's so good to have someone next to you that's been through it, can be your empathetic witness and give you guidance along the way to put down those burdens and gain that enlightenment. The enlightenment that just feels like freedom. Freedom to be who you want to be, to change your thoughts that are no longer serving you, to stay empowered to be the mother that you want to be, the wife you want to be, the daughter, sister, whatever it is that you want to be. If I can do it, you can do it. Remember I sat on the therapist couch saying, I cannot forgive people because I believed in my identity that I was a grudge holder. I was told that my whole life. Don't do that to Tessa. She'll never get over it. My family stopped playing board games because I would get so upset if I lost and I quote, unquote, wouldn't get over it. I couldn't take a joke. I never would let it go. And I carried that my whole life. All that conditioning that I heard became who I believed I was. And as much as I love therapy and I highly recommend that you do it. No, I've been to a lot of therapists. I mean, after my dad passed away when I was six, overnight after my mom and her ex husband, like their whole fiasco of a marriage and divorce and his pedophilia. Through all of it, through all of it, not one therapist ever talked to me about identity or mindset or shame or self forgiveness. I mean, they talk to me about boundaries. In my last. In my most recent, when I was pregnant with Liam, they talked to me about boundaries, but not how to actually set them. My guys, I wrote out a text. This is another example of my poor boundary setting methods. Back then. I wrote out a text to my mom. The therapist recommended write it in a text. That way there's no misinterpretation on a phone call, right? And it's all just in writing right there. And I'm like, great idea. Love that. So I wrote it all in a text, exactly what my boundaries were. And I showed it to my therapist and she was like, great, show it to my husband. He's like, it's direct, but if you, if you like that, you should do that. Obviously he would never do that is what he was saying. Um, but anyway, I show it to everyone and I send it to my mom and she didn't respond. And a couple days go past and then I give her a call. I'm like, hey, did you get my text? And she's like, yeah, I did. And all it did. I swear to you, that method of setting boundaries just drove a wedge further into the ground in our relationship. Because I was not vulnerable in the text. I was not empathetic in the text. I was seeking out no connection in the text. It was just straightforward. This is this, and you are going to respect it. Okay, well, when you say that to someone that's already hurting, what are they gonna do? They're gonna armor up and get defensive. They're gonna go to that fight or flight mode. And I swear to you, my mom held onto that and brought it up for over two years. She would make comments like, well, I'm just trying to respect your boundaries. For over two years. I listened to that. Now I'm Just again, I've told you guys this several times. I feel at a very good place with my mom right now. And I'm really proud of the work that both her and I have been able to do in our relationship. And I feel that I'm at a point in my life now where I want to improve that relationship, but I haven't always been there. So I'm not telling you you need to get to those places in the relationships in your life. I'm just letting you know that I want you to have a great relationship with yourself first. Because the relationship with yourself is what every other relationship is built on. The relationship with your kids is built on your relationship with yourself. The relationship with your spouse built on the relationship with yourself. The relationship with your parents built on the relationship with yourself. You cannot give what you don't have. You cannot give empathy and vulnerability and love if you don't have it. So mind body alignment is designed to improve your relationship with yourself, to heal your relationship with yourself, to find all the hurts inside of you, even if they are there because of someone else. I don't want to change the other people. I want to heal you. And by default, other people will change because you change. They either change with you or they fall away on their own because it's energy. It's just energy. So who are you really? You're not your thoughts, you're not your feelings, you're not your roles. You're not what other people have said about you. But there is a most authentic version of you within you. My most authentic version I know, is loving and energetic. I know that, and I use that to my advantage. And right now you might be saying, oh, my gosh, I have no idea who that most authentic version of me is. I feel like I've completely lost her over the noise of what other people have said about me and what my mind has been conditioned to look for in my life. You are never too far gone. That authentic version of you is still right there. She's just been buried down, right? Her voice has been. Has been minimized by that bully inside of you. Right now the bully speaks louder than her. So you haven't heard her in a long time. And maybe she got tired of speaking up and always being shut down, right? So you do have a most authentic version of you. And I'm telling you right now that she is not overwhelmed, exhausted, irritable, lazy, hateful, ungrateful. That's not who she is. Unmotivated. That's not who she is. She is loving she is engaged, she is interested, she is energetic, she is compassionate, she is grateful. She is creative. She is fun loving and light hearted. She's accepting and brave and courageous. She is powerful beyond all measure. That's who you truly are. And you are the only person. I'm gonna say that again. You are the only person with the type of power that it takes to keep you from being her. It's just you. I know you say, oh, but I can't be that version of me around my spouse, around my kids, around my in laws, parents, boss, whoever, because I've just been this other version of me for so long, they won't understand I can't change. Now, that's not true. But that's a convenient story for that victim mentality to hold onto, right? For the inner bully to be saying, that's pretty convenient because you can change. You want to stop yelling, you can do it. You want to stop ignoring your spouse, you can do it. There's definitely been a time that I never thought I'd be able to stop ignoring people. And I've done it. I can't tell you the last time I ignored someone, I. I truly wouldn't be able to tell you, but I can tell you I know what it feels like. And that's why I love this work so much. Because I feel so much purpose in everything that I've been through in my life. When I get to show up with you, when I get to show up with you and say, I get that. I've been through this, you've been through this, and hardship's not a comparison. We both have our heart, and that heart is valid. And right now, we're here to be each other's empathetic witnesses so that we can heal, we can grow, we can become who we want to be. And I want that for you. And I know it's possible. So I personally feel grateful for everything that I've been through in my life because there's no way I would be who I am today. There's no way I would prioritize what I prioritize in motherhood and focus on and emphasize what I focus on and emphasize as a wife. There's no way I'd be so courageous to pursue my business goals, right? To share messages on social media that are completely opposite of what everyone else is saying. There's no way I would be the type of person that can do all of that if I hadn't had the life, the exact life that I've had. So I am grateful. I Can't change it anyway, right? You're never gonna go back and be able to rewrite your past. It is what it is. But you can find healing. You can find acceptance. You can find purpose to your pain and meaning to your hardship and understanding to your shame. You can do all of that and it will change the way you see your life changed mine. So if you've been on the fence about mind body alignment, I hope this helps. I only open enrollment twice a year and this course is unlike anything you have ever experienced in your entire life. That I promise. I promise. Come join this vulnerable group of women and myself and become who you want to be. Work through identity. Truly. Mindset, shame, self forgiveness, self love, self care, boundaries, journaling. I put it all in here for you. That victim mentality, it's gonna go. We're gonna address it head on. All of your past experiences that you try to push down and run from. Nope. No more. They have a place in this course and I love to let you know that there is no place of darkness that our light won't reach. So bring your darkness, bring your messy, bring your hard, bring the shame. It's welcome here. I'm so excited to work with you on the inside and I hope that this episode served you and having a better understanding of who it is that you are and how to start your healing journey. Because you are not who other people have said you are or what other people think about you. You've never been responsible for any of that. That's truly them. It comes from them. It's within them. And it's their job to heal that, not yours. But it's your job to heal you. So I hope that I get to be a part of that healing journey and a front row seat to this entire healing journey that you're about to go on. I love it so much and I know you will too. I'll talk to you soon. I'm going to wrap up this episode with some little details about mind body alignment number one. It is a 12 week all inclusive and intensive course with me as your coach. In those 12 weeks, we have twice weekly live coaching sessions that you do not need to be on LIVE for. Although it is extremely valuable, the live sessions are there to coach you through implementing what we are teaching in the course in your very real life and circumstances as well as answering any questions that you have. We always have one coaching session earlier in the day and one coaching session in the evening. That way your chances are higher of getting on a live session with me and don't worry. All live sessions are recorded and available for replay lifetime access right on your membership account. So if you miss anything, it's always there for you to go back to. If you loved something so much, it's always there for you to go back to. Every module has a video module to coach you through it, so you can rely on those to open up the material and have that coaching to go through it. And that PDF material is what you'll use to really absorb and leave learn the coaching strategies and teachings that are available to you as well as work in your journal about the prompts that I have in there, the self discovery work that is so important for you to be doing. So in those 12 weeks we will meet together twice weekly for live coaching sessions that are invaluable. You have video modules and PDF material to coach you through every single lesson that we go through in terms of identity, mindset, shame, self forgiveness and tools such as boundaries and journaling. I know this course will absolutely change your life and another amazing part of it is our private coaching community. Inside of that community you'll connect with other women that are going through similar circumstances or something completely different from you, but you are learning something from them and even the way that I'm coaching them, you're applying to your life as well. So that community is absolutely invaluable and you will have access to that to connect with other women and and we also have a one year membership to the mamalay fitness app. This course is called Mind Body Alignment and normally I have provided my 15 week workout guide for you but I felt like this is just the best upgrade to get you to your physical health goals and teach you about nutrition so you are truly learning how to support your body as you're going through this journey. So inside of the mamalay app you can find workouts for in the gym or at home. She helps you through nutrition and she runs amazing, amazing challenges that I am personally very excited to be participating in this January. Also inside of her January challenge I am providing mindset coaching. I'm so excited to be partnering with mamalay on this. So I'm providing mindset coaching in her app and she is giving you a one year membership to the app. So amazing and I'm excited to do it together. So you have the course, the private coaching community, twice weekly coaching sessions, one year access to the Mamalay app and and guaranteed life transformation in your relationship with yourself. So if this is something that you're interested in, I look forward to seeing you on the Inside of Mind Body Alignment. The enrollment dates are. If you have my journaling course, you get early enrollment December 1st through the 10th. And if you missed the email for enrollment, just shoot me an email and I'm happy to send that link over to you. If you do not have the journaling course, don't you worry. You're welcome to go get it right now or. Or you can wait for open enrollment December 11th through the 22nd. That is when open enrollment happens and my journaling course is included inside of Mind Body Alignment. So either way, you're getting the coaching with me. Through the journaling course, one just gives you early access to enroll, while the other gives you the journaling course inside of Mind Body Alignment. So you choose what works best for you. But as soon as you get the course, you will have access to the bonus mindset module, which I created to best help you get a mindset that supports you before we even. Even begin. Because those limiting thoughts, those limiting beliefs can be so loud. That says, I won't have time to do this. I can't keep up. I'm not worth it. Oh, this is. This is distracting me over here. Like, we have these limiting beliefs, and I want you to have a grip on those before we even begin. So the bonus mindset module will be able to help you through that. Now, as always, if you have any questions, shoot me an email infoodyby mommy.com and I'm more than happy to help you. I look forward to seeing you on the inside.
