And welcome back, you nasties! If you're new here, no, I'm not really talking about couples yoga. Today's couples yoga pose is going to be on a couch, and it's a nice simple one that you can do on virtually any couch in existence. So let's start with the receiving yoga partner. As the receiving yoga partner, your job is to kneel on the couch and face the back rest of the couch. We want to make sure that our knees are about hip distance apart. A little bit wider is okay, but we don't want to go too wide as to lower our hips too close to the ground. Once we're in the correct position here, we're going to take our arms out in front of us and rock forward, letting our arms come to the back of the couch. Now this is usually where most people would end up and hold this yoga pose, but we're going to take it a step further. From here, we're going to walk our knees back slightly, a little further toward the edge of the couch, and then we're going to pull our hips up toward the ceiling and our shoulders back toward our hips. So we're allowing our tummy to come down toward the ground. Let it hang, alright? That's totally fine, no one's gonna say anything. This is a just fine position to hold, but if you want to take it a step even further, you can push your hips back, extending your arms slightly, and then resting your head down as you put an even deeper curve into your back. And that's pretty much it for the receiving yoga partner. The giving yoga partner just has to stand behind the receiving yoga partner, grab on, and do what they do best. If you have any questions, go ahead and put them in the comments section, but until next time, mwah! Stay spicy.
