Hopefully you have the knees to be kneeling for this one. Here we go. First and foremost, this is for what? Couples yoga. That's what I'm calling it from now on because TikTok likes to take down my videos. For our next couples yoga video, you're going to have your partner lie down on their back like so. Now once your partner is on their back, you're going to straddle them facing away from them and on your knees. Now there's a little twist here though. You are going to lean all your weight over to one side and you're going to take the leg that your weight is not on You're gonna place it between your partner's leg and then scoop it underneath the leg that's that same side leg as yours. What you wind up doing is straddling one of your partner's legs, basically. Then you can come down onto your forearm and you can rock gently back and forth. And this is a great option if you don't have the knees to be in a flat-footed squat yet. Although I still recommend practicing squatting flat-footed so that you can get to that point because it is a lot of fun if you're able to master it.
