And we're back with more couples yoga. If you're new here, yes, I call it couples yoga because otherwise I get in trouble for spreading educational content. Today we're going over a yoga position that's great for people who have hip and knee pain and find it difficult to be the yoga partner that is above. So the first step for this one is that you and your yoga partner want to get into a spoon position. Once you're successfully in the spoon position, the yoga partner that's behind is going to grab hold of the yoga partner that's in front. The yoga partner that's in front is going to roll onto their backs above the yoga partner that is behind, so you both wind up on your backs facing the same direction. Now from here, a great way to open up the hips into a more relaxed state is to just let your knees fall out and open. This yoga position is great because our hands are free for all different sorts of positioning. The yoga partner that is below can grab the hips of the yoga partner that is above and help guide that yoga partner in this direction or in a circular motion. There does not need to be very much movement in this position. This position is not gonna work well for every single type of body, so if you have a yoga partner whose yoga mat tends downward and not upward or straight, then this one may not be the one for you. But if you have any further questions, just put them in the comments and I'll answer them as quickly as possible. And as always, stay spicy.
