Short spoken commentary by an insurance professional outlining three forthcoming industry changes: (1) 'insurance spartanization' — consolidation toward fewer, highly productive agents; (2) increased virtual and telesales with hybrid face-to-face interactions and individual agents generating their own leads using digital tools; (3) greater social media presence and rise of insurance influencers generating organic leads and recruiting. The tone is advisory and predictive.

Three major changes coming to this industry. Number one is insurance spartanization. Would you rather have millions of mediocre soldiers or 300 trained warriors dedicated to their craft? This is where we see the business going. Less agents will make more and more money. I think we're going to see a lot more virtual sales and telesale plus face to face. Another change that we see coming to this business is a lot more agents producing their own lead. In the past, in order to generate leads, had to buy a mailing list of thousands of seniors around the country and start shooting out thousands of mailers per day to unsuspecting seniors. Mailbox. Nowadays, thanks to a lot of the technology that we have, all you need to generate leads is a laptop. Just like that and a little bit of knowledge. Number three is a larger social media presence for the insurance business. We're seeing a lot more people who are insurance influencers. We're kind of seeing a lot more people transition into that space where you can generate organic leads as it recruits as well as generate leads for policies in different insurance lines.
