In this video, I'm going to show.
You how to make 2025 your most profitable year ever selling life insurance. This is a live training that I did inside of our free Facebook group, Insurance Agent Freedom, where I broke down the five keys to making 2025 your most profitable year yet. Now, this is the exact same process that I taught to two agents who now make $30,000 per month in sales working just three hours per day. And is the exact same thing one of my clients, Jorge, used to make $13,000 in profit without making a single dial. So enjoy the video, enjoy the training, and if you guys get value from this and you want more like it, then click the link down below to join.
Our Facebook group says five keys to making 2025 your most profitable year selling life insurance. So I did this a little bit differently. Usually I have, like, PowerPoint slides, but I did, like a whole sketchbook on the. On the notebook. So we're going to be doing this a little bit differently now. Let's just go ahead and jump right into this. So what we're going to be touching on is the five keys, and the first key is to pick the right market. So let me explain to you guys why this is so important. Because to be honest with you, when I first got into the business, I didn't really think about this. I kind of just went with whatever the person recruiting me told me to do. Which, ultimately it didn't end up being the worst thing ever. But had I understood this and thought about this more, I think I probably would have made different decisions. Okay, so I'm going to explain this in kind of a weird way. There's a book. I haven't read it yet, but I've heard that it's really good. I'll probably end up reading it in the next couple months. And it's called the Lessons of History. Right. And so basically, this book talks about the entire history of humanity and, you know, how it got started and how different things have, like, affected human history and from cavemen to now. Right. That's essentially what the book is about. And one of the biggest lessons in this book is that history is just subject to geology. So what the hell does that mean? Well, basically, every single civilization on Earth is only as good as the ground they're standing on. Right? Meaning that everything in human history happens only on the theater of Earth or geology. So the ground. Right. Basically. Meaning, let's say, for example, I were to go and build a civilization. We have a little drawing of Earth right here. Well, if I build my civilization here in America, of all of the abundant natural resources that our country has versus here in the middle of the desert in Africa. It doesn't matter how good my society is or how good all these other things that kind of come later. If the foundation that I build my civilization on is not solid, right? You build your civilization on a volcano and the volcano erupts like it doesn't matter how great your buildings are, you're going to get wiped out. What's going on, Nick? Good to have you on here. Hope you're having a happy New Year. So this analogy, you can use the exact same thinking when it comes to business, right? The quality of your business is going to be determined by the quality of your market, right? So I'll give you guys another example. So you guys may have heard this, this example before this story. So let's say, for example, you met a genie and you were going to go and start a hot dog stand, right? And so this genie is like a business genie. They're a hot dog genie, whatever you want to call them. And they're, they can grant you any wish that you want. And so you're trying to start this business and you only get one wish to try and have the most successful business possible. So the question is, what do you wish for? Right? What would you wish for? Would it be the best hot dogs? Right, Best hot dogs?
Would it be maybe the fastest cooking hot dogs?
No, maybe it's the. You have the best tasting buns.
Right? Maybe you have the best tasting buns or all beef.
Natural, organic, whatever, whatever you want to call it. Organic. In all reality, all of this is utter garbage. Because the only thing that you need, the one wish that you should make, is to start your hot dog stand and have a starving crowd. All right? A starving crowd. Now, not only do you need a starving crowd, but you need people that have two different things, okay? They need to be A, willing.
And B, able to buy from you, right? So why am I talking about hot dogs and, you know, earth and history when it comes to picking a market. Well, basically, when you guys are deciding the type of insurance you're going to sell or the market that you're going to sell to, you're picking the problems you're going to have. If you sell final expense, you're going to deal with chargebacks in retention and people that don't have money. If you go and you sell mortgage protection, well, you're going to deal with these, these market conditions where nobody's buying houses and you're not selling any policies, but then when the going's good, you know, you're making tons of money, you're selling iuls, you're dealing with a longer sales cycle, but your commissions are higher and your retention's higher. So you got to pick. What problems do you want? And what. Like what. What pros and cons do you want? Because ultimately, you get to pick the market. And the market you pick is gonna determine how your business works. So going into 2025, I want everyone that's watching this to really think about what is the market that you are going after, who are you trying to sell insurance to, and what problems are you picking? And make sure that you're comfortable with the problems that you're picking. And if you're not, maybe you should look at a different market. So that is number one. All right, ladies and gentlemen, that is number one. Is to really, really do a deep dive and think about what market you are selling to. Picking the right market. Now, number two, the second key to making 2025 your most profitable year ever as an insurance agent is having more leads than time. Now, I got a pretty interesting drawing here. You guys may know what this is, you may not, but I'm going to just basically explain it to you. So let's say there's two different guys. Let's say this guy on the left. Let's say his name is Jim. And this guy. Whoops. This guy on the right. Let's call him Bob. Okay, so Jim, as you can see, Jim, Jim is very good with the ladies. He has a lot of ladies that are interested in him. He's got multiple girls hitting up his phone all the time. And he's a pretty busy guy. You can see he's got sunglasses. He's quite a bit cooler than Bob over here. Bob only has one girl that is interested in him. And that girl is, to be honest, she's kind of into Bob, but she could, you know, maybe find somebody else that's better. But, I mean, she's. She's sticking around for now.
Imagine what happens. Let's say Jim is dating.
Let's say Jim is dating this girl here. Okay, what do you think is going to happen when this girl start, like, stops texting Bob back and starts kind of giving him the cold shoulder and starts, you know, playing games, as people in relationships tend to do. Well, Bob is going to cut this chick off, and he's immediately just going to find somebody else because he's got a ton of girls that are interested in him or Jim mixing up the names versus, let's say, this girl that Bob is talking to starts playing games. She starts ghosting him. She's not answering his phone calls. What does he do? He gets more desperate and he starts chasing more. And then guess what happens? She starts getting more and more distant and ghosting him more and playing more and more games. And next thing you know, Bob is crying himself to sleep because nobody's interested. And he's just sitting there, you know, waiting for something to happen. Whereas, you know, Jim is already onto the next one because he has an abundance mindset versus a scarcity mindset. Now, in that example that I just gave, we're obviously talking about dating, and instead of having more leads than time, I'm talking about having more romantic options than time. But it's the exact same concept, right? Because sales is a form of seduction, right? With sales, you don't want to just go out and always be the one chasing. You want to have enough people in the pipeline. You want to have enough. Enough leads that are hot so that if one lead starts playing games, it's not like feast or famine. I have to get Ms. Jones to buy a policy from me or I'm not going to eat. Which is why you want to have more leads than time. You have to have more people to talk to than you actually have time to talk to them all. And if you can achieve that, you're going to be put in a position where you have the leverage in the scenario when you're talking to people because they need what you have instead of you needing to sell them a policy. Is this making sense so far, guys? If not, let me know so I can try to explain it a different way. But is everyone understanding what I mean when I say more leads than time and why that's so important when it comes to having more leads than time? Everyone would agree that you want to have more leads than time. You want to have an overabundance of leads so that you're not solely reliant on one or two leads closing. You can just kind of work the pipeline and whatever closes, closes, right? That is the benefit of having more leads in time. But how do you actually get there, right? How do you actually get to having more leads than time? Well, there's a couple different ways. And fundamentally what you need in order to have more leads than time is you need to have a lead source that has low costs and high quality. Low cost and high quality. We don't want a bunch of terrible leads that are, you know, three Years old and don't even remember why we're calling them. Right. Because ultimately then we have a ton of leads, but then we're just wasting our time. Right. So we need to have high quality, but if we don't have a low cost or affordable lead, then how are we going to get enough leads where we have more leads in time? So we need a combination of both low cost and high quality. And what I have found is that the best way to do this is by generating your own leads on.
You guessed it, Facebook. Okay. The best way that I've found to do this is by generating your own leads on Facebook. Because there are literally.
Three. It's either 1 billion or 3 billion. I'm totally blanking on the number, but let's just say 1 billion monthly active users on Facebook.
Meaning that pretty much all of the of the developed world is on Facebook. Most of the US Has a Facebook account and uses Facebook. So if you're trying to get a lot of people to talk to and get high quality Leads, Facebook is 100% the best way to do that. And that's why we do Facebook ads for all of our clients. Right. So if you guys want to learn more about how that works, just come at Facebook the comments below and I can send you guys a link to some free resources that would be valuable for you. Amazing. So that is step number two. Right. So first step is to pick the right market. Make sure you understand the problems that you're picking and make sure you're fully okay with the problems you're picking. Right. Every market has problems. But make sure that your market's hot and you understand the problems you're picking and you're. And you're comfortable with those. Okay, awesome. And then the second one is having more leads than time. The best way to do that is by generating your own Facebook leads. So if you're not generating your own leads and you're buying leads and you're paying, you know, 20, $40 a lead, you're always going to be in a situation where you're in lead poverty. Okay. You have to be in lead abundance, not lead poverty, or you're. You're constantly going to be running into a brick wall when it comes to selling life insurance and being in this business. Now the third step is having a proven sales process. Right? So a sales process or a script is basically just a map or a GPS from how to get to point A to closing a deal. Right. It's a step by step guide that you can follow where if you're in the middle of a phone call or in the middle of a presentation, and you lose where you're at. This will show you the guide of where you need to go. Okay? Now, one misconception that I hear a lot is people say, I'm good at sales. I don't need a script. The best salespeople use a script and use a process. It doesn't mean you have to read word for word. And this is why I chose to say sales process instead of script is because a sales process is just a framework or an outline for you to follow. What a lot of people do. This is a huge mistake that I see. They just jump on and they try to wing every single call. Okay? And what happens when you do that is every sale ends up being different. Imagine if Chick Fil A didn't have a recipe and they didn't have systems, and every time someone ordered, they just said, cool, we're gonna make a chicken sandwich, right? It would be terrible. They have to have a proven process. They have to have a recipe. And if you want to get good at selling a product, you're just having a conversation, right? You're having a conversation, but you're having the same conversation over and over and over. So you want to follow the same process so you can get really, really good and just absolutely become a master at having that specific conversation. Okay? So have a proven sales process. And every sale, again, should follow the same structure. And I want to highlight this because this is something a lot. I get a lot of pushback with, especially with people that, you know, maybe they have more. They have some experience in the industry, and they may or may not have skill, but they have experience, right? They may have experience, but they don't necessarily have results. Is they'll always kind of give me some pushback when I tell them they need to use a script. But even the best salespeople in the world use a script and use a sales process. So make sure that you have a sales process. Now.
I'm going to show you guys kind of an example of what a good sales process looks like. I'm going to show you guys one for final expense. Okay.
You guys can see this right here. Let me know if you can see my screen. I got the script pulled up here. Just drop a thumbs up in the chat if you guys can see it. But basically what I've done is we have this. The whole call is broken into different sections, right? So you have like the call intro, you have the discovery. You have labeling the problem, setting Expectations, the health questions, and like, I don't have to read every single one of these lines word for word once I get good at selling, but I do want to follow the outline, right? And even if you're selling over zoom, like let's say you're selling Iuls or annuities virtually, you're selling over zoom. You still want to have like, you're not going to be reading off of a script because that would just be really awkward. But you do want to have bullet points and kind of a framework that you follow, whether it's like, hey, asking the discovery questions, asking them about their finances, and then you explain it in this way. Like you're going to explain the product the same way every single time and just tailor it to the person. So, point being, have a sales process, have a script that you're following. It doesn't have to be word for word, but you do need to have it systemized. Okay? If you want to get consistent results, you have to be consistent. Now, the fourth key to having the best year ever in 2025 is to have an automated selling system. Okay? So what most agents do, and God, if I had a dollar for every single time that I've jumped on the phone talking to somebody and they tell me that what I'm about to tell you guys is what they do, I would have a lot of money, probably a million dollars.
Most agents buy leads, call the leads, and then just leave it, right? They buy the leads, they call them with their cell phone. Maybe they. I've seen people that still print out the freaking leads on a mailer card and leave tally marks on the leads. I've seen people that still use spreadsheets for their leads. It's utterly insane to me, but it still happens, still happens every day. Okay? When it comes to getting results and seeing success, there's a concept called leverage, right? And the higher leverage your time, the more results you're gonna get. Everyone has the same amount of hours in a day. What determines you being more profitable in this business versus somebody else is how much leverage you have on your time. If I'm an agency owner and I recruit, you know, let's say I do a live stream like this and I get 30 agents to go sign up and join my agency. This live stream might take me 30 minutes. I do it one time and I get 30 agents to come sign up with our agency and then they all start selling policies. Think about how high leverage that is. In one 30 minute session, I recruit 30 agents and now all of a Sudden I'm getting all of the overrides from all those agents for years and years to come. That's an insanely high leverage activity versus let's say an individual agent goes out, buys some leads from a lead vendor. There's no brand, there's no name, there's no connection to the person. They just buy it from some, you know, online lead vendor, then they print out the leads and call them with their cell phone. That is so low leverage because unless somebody answers, you're not doing anything. The only way that you're working the leads or getting closer to a deal is someone answers and you talk to them and set an appointment. It is so low leverage versus a very easy, simple way to get insanely high leverage on your time is literally just using a CRM that has a funnel built into it and has automations already programmed. Okay, so I'll tell you guys what we use and if you want to learn more about how you can start using our CRM previously, it's not something that we've released to the public, but we are considering kind of like opening it up to people that are outside of like our exclusive program. So if you guys are interested in that, just comment CRM and I'll potentially be releasing that depending on what kind of a response we get. But let me just explain what we have. So whenever a lead comes in, right. I'm just going to draw this out on a new page so I can kind of show you guys. So whenever a lead comes in, lead they go through and they start getting texted by AI. Okay, now when I say AI, do I mean that there's like, you know, Jarvis, like a literal robot texting the leads back and forth? No. If you guys have used chat GBT lately, you'll realize that it is definitely not all that advanced. Right? The people that'll tell you that you can have AI call your leads for you and set appointments. I've spent thousands of dollars on that. It's kind of bs. What works best right now is having the AI be automated and kind of like prompt responses and then jump in and have a human take over. So you're still getting leverage on your time, but it's not like, you know, you're just not doing anything. And an AI is like responding to your leads. Try that and tell me how it goes. I guarantee you the AI is going to say some crazy shit to Ms. Jones and you're going to end up wishing that you had never done that. Right? Like it just, it doesn't work yet. It will. And I'll be the first to let you know when it's really, really efficient and it works insanely well, trust me, I'll be the first to let you know. But right now you don't want to go full AI. Okay, don't go full AI.
It's like self driving cars, you can kind of let it drive you a little bit, but if you go full self driving and you like fall asleep in the driver's seat, you might wake up, you know, bent around a tree. So don't go full AI, go kind of AI. Okay, so the leads are going to get texted and then they're also going to get emailed.
And they're going to be sent links to my calendar that has a whole funnel with content, right? Content is the most powerful form of marketing ever. That's why Mr. Beast is going to be a billionaire.
Content is most powerful form of marketing, right? We have content that nurtures them so that they'll then book appointments.
So contrast this with the agent who's printing out a stack of paper mailers and calling them with their cell phone.
Look at all these things that I'm not even having to do. This is all done for me. I do this once, I built all this, I do this once and I, all I have to do is every, every league, every lead goes through the same process. And the best part is I've already done this for you. So I can literally just give you guys this exact funnel, this exact system that's already built out and you can just use it for yourself. This took us like three years to build.
And you can just leverage it. So if you guys are interested in like having the CRM, we also have like a dialer that goes with it, something we're considering, you know, releasing to the public. So if that's something you guys are interested in, just let me know and we will potentially drop that. That is automated selling system. Now the last thing that I'm going to touch on, key number five. Oops. So this is literally the exact system that we have, right? So a lead comes in, they go into our go, high level CRM we're going to call them with a dialer. We use wave dialer now, but we're potentially going to use something else. So you mean you guys could use that or you can see what's coming soon and then you know, you have this, this whole system that's built out where if they answer, this happens, if they don't, this happens. There's all these automations that kind of go in the back. I'm not going to dive super in depth and go over like every single little thing that could possibly happen here. But.
This is essentially kind of what it learned, looks like on a, on a big scale. Okay, awesome. Now, the fifth key, ladies and gentlemen, the fifth key is training and mentorship. Okay? The fastest way, the fastest way to learn something and improve your skills is to learn from somebody that's already doing what you want to do successfully. Okay, I'm gonna say that again. The fastest way.
To learn a skill and get, get like improve your, your income, improve whatever, whatever it is, it could be health, wealth, relationships, whatever area of life you're trying to progress in. The fastest way to do that is to learn and embody someone that's already successful. Okay? And when it comes to insurance, there's basically two learning curves you have to overcome. And picking the right training and picking the right mentor is going to determine how fast you overcome these learning curves. Okay, so basically, let's say at the end of these two learning curves are whatever amount of money you want to make. Okay, you guys can drop what. What's your income goal for 2025, right? Whether it's, I don't know, maybe it's 100k, maybe it's 200k, or maybe it's 300k, 400k, maybe it's half a million, right? Whatever your income goal is, just drop it in the comments down below. And that's what you're going to imagine when I point to this number. Okay? That's the number you're going to imagine. So in order to get to that income goal, there's two learning curves you need to overcome. You need to overcome the insurance learning curve, and you need to overcome the sales learning curve. All right, now let me explain what that means when I say the insurance learning curve. Think about whether you are a new agent. You can very easily relate to this. But if you've been in the industry for a while, think back to when you first got in. How much random stuff did you have to learn that to. Nobody on planet Earth comes natural. Nobody just knows how insurance products work. Just coming into the business, they're very complex. It's a lot of moving pieces. There's a lot of stuff that kind of comes with it. The applications, like all of that. That is the insurance learning curve. You have to learn that in order to become successful as an agent, but you also have to understand sales, and not just sales, but how to sell insight insurance specifically. So you're overcoming these Two learning curves. You got to get all this product and industry knowledge and you got to get all the sales knowledge. And once you overcome these two learning curves, you can get to your income goal, right? So your mentor, whoever you pick to train you and teach you and show you the way, is going to be the one that kind of progresses you along this learning curve and gets you to the promised land, okay? They're going to help get you to the promised land. So one of the things that we do with all the agents that we work with is we basically assign them like their own success coach who is sold successfully with whatever product that they're trying to do, right? Like if someone is trying to sell Iuls or annuities, we kind of connect them with people that are already selling those products successfully so they can learn from somebody that has been and has achieved what they want to achieve. Right. And that allows you, when you're learning from somebody that, because let's be real, most agents in this business do not actually get sufficient, sufficient training, right? They get half baked training and they're trying to hit up their upline and they never get back to them. What we do with anyone we work with is they have a one on one coach that they can message and jump on coaching calls with and learn directly from. When we do anything with like advanced markets, the mentor will close your first few deals for you so you can see how it's done. Right now imagine the difference of how you would learn getting hands on training versus trying to go at it on your own and just like watching a couple YouTube videos and texting back and forth with someone that never gets back to you and it takes you days to get a reply. It's just not even close. Right? Right. For me, right now I know how to generate leads for advanced markets, but I personally haven't sold a ton of IUL and annuity. This is one of the things that I'm doing literally right now is learning how to sell Iuls to, you know, sell on the leads that we generate. And so I'm going out and reaching to people, reaching out to people that I know are top producers who write, you know, 100k a month in Iuls or have agencies that do like 700k a month. And I'm saying, hey, I'll split you in on the deal so I can learn. So like as somebody who's recruited and trained a bunch of agents, I'm even willing to do that because I understand the value of getting good training and good mentorship. Right? Like for example, guys, this is going to sound crazy to probably 80% of you, but in the last two years, I've spent well over $200,000 on course courses and mentorships and masterminds and programs. So, like, there is nothing that is higher value and higher return than investing in yourself and getting training and mentorship. So, ladies and gents, those are the five keys to seeing massive success and having your most profitable year ever as a life insurance agent in 2025.
