Best Dialer Softwares For Life Insurance Agents

A single-speaker YouTube video (timely review) comparing two outbound dialer providers—Kixie and Wave—for life insurance agents. The speaker explains how each service handles local number presentation, spam protection, GoHighLevel CRM integration, dialing concurrency, pricing, contract terms, and practical pros/cons for agents choosing a dialer. The video recommends Wave for GoHighLevel users for ease of integration but notes higher per-number spam-protection costs; Kixie offers built-in number wrapping but requires a six-month upfront commitment.

What's going on? Ladies and gentlemen, in this video, I'm going to be breaking down the best dialers for life insurance agents. So if you need to make those outbound phone calls and you want to increase your answer rate, I'm going to show you the two dialers that I recommend that are the most efficient, the most effective, and most importantly, the most cost effective so that you guys can start increasing your answer rate, increasing your output, and ultimately making more money. So without any further ado. So let's go ahead and jump right into it, starting with Kixie, which is the number one dialer that I recommend. This is not in any particular order. I've spent thousands of dollars on both of these dialers. Us and our agents have made thousands of dials using both of these dialers. So this is going to be an unbiased kind of breakdown of each of them, pros and cons of each. But honestly, you can't really go wrong with either of these. So Kixie is the number one dialer. Again, not in any particular order, just this is the first one that comes up. So what Kixie does is it's basically a dialer that they own a bunch of different phone numbers. So Kixie buys, you know, probably thousands of phone numbers. And what they do is whenever you go and you make an outbound phone call, they're going to search through their list of phone numbers and find a number that A, is spam protected, at least they're all supposed to be spam protected, and B, locally, like, matches the area code of the person you're calling. So let's say I'm in Texas, I'm calling someone in California. My phone number is going to be matched, like I'm going to. The number I'm going to be outbound dialing from should match the area code of the person I'm calling. And that's essentially what they do. So you don't actually own any of the numbers. You don't pay for any of the numbers. You don't have to worry about spam protection. You're basically masking your phone number with one of their numbers whenever you make a call. So technically, technically, this is kind of illegal, right? There's. It's like. It's like a gray area in terms of, like, legal goes. So you can still kind of get away with this for now, but in the future, Kixie may no longer be viable because of that situation, but for now, it still works fine.
And the local number wrapping really helps with increasing the answer because I Mean, think about it. If you are getting a phone call from someone in your area code, you're more likely to answer it than just some random number from some random place. So that's essentially kind of like the whole selling point of Kixie. You don't have to worry about spam protection. Again, they handle all of it, because you don't even own any of the numbers. They just own the numbers and, you know, wrap them for you. One of the downsides to Kixie is that if you're using Go High Level, you have to do this whole, like, complex integration using a software called Zapier. We have to, like, connect Go High Level to Zapier. And it's pretty simple once you set it up or once you know how to set it up. But if you're trying to do that, like, from scratch, it would be, you know, pretty complicated. So it doesn't have, like, a direct integration with Go High Level. You have to kind of duct tape it together a little bit, which can kind of suck. But once you do it, it's done. You can dial with Kixie. You can do multiple multi multi dialing, so you can call up to 10 numbers at a time. I don't ever see a situation where you need to call that many numbers, but you can do it with Kixie. Most you're going to usually call is like, three or four, which you can also do with Kixie. Now, as far as the pricing goes, it's $185 a month. The last time I checked where they include the local number wrapping, which is a must for me. However, the downside is they require six months up front, which means that just to get started with Kigse out of the box.
You'Re gonna spend over a thousand bucks just on your subscription. So for that reason, right, this is what I honestly started with, was just using Kixie. But I realized, like, for most people paying that much just to get started is just insane. Which is why we found another dialer, which is called Wave. So Wave is basically like the peanut butter to Go High Levels jelly. Like, it integrates and it matches and they hook up perfectly, right? Whereas Kixie, you have to kind of duct tape it together. Like, Wave is literally built to work inside of GoHighLevel. So if you're using the Go High Level CRM and you want an easy setup, Wave is probably your way to go. Cool thing about Wave, they can do the local number wrapping, and it is automatic. But the only difference between Wave and Go High Level is with Wave, you Have to buy all of your phone numbers individually, right? So you got to buy all the numbers individually. I think they're like $2 per number per month. So if you get 10 numbers, it's only like 20 bucks. Right. So basically like if you are in a bunch of different states, you would just buy numbers for each of those states and then you could do the local number wrapping, but you would just own the numbers instead of Kixie owning the numbers in that example. Right. So the Wave, you have to own the numbers. And with Kixie, Kixie owns the numbers. Right. Again, big pro of Wave is that it's directly integrated into GoHighLevel, which makes it really easy. You can call three up to three numbers at once, which is really all you need. The honestly, guys, like, the integration with WAVE into High Level is for me the biggest selling point because it's just so easy. You don't have to have like multiple tabs open. You just can call directly through the CRM, which is really, really cool.
Wave is $149 a month and there's no contract. So you don't have to pay like six months up front or anything like that. It's just $149 a month flat. You do have to pay for numbers. So paying per number, like the $2 a month is not a big deal. But where Wave can kind of get expensive is that you also, you are responsible for spam protecting the numbers. So you have to go out and spam protect each of your numbers to increase your answer rate. And it's about $10 per number per month to spam protect. So if you have 30 numbers and that could be $300 a month, which it can get crazy. So between the two, Kixie and Wave, if you have, I mean both are expensive regardless, if you have a bunch of money up front.
Then Kixie could be an option. The only downside with Kixie is again, like the integration is a little more duct taped for wave. I mean, Wave honestly would be what I would recommend. But just realize you are gonna have to spend more on the spam protection aspect of wave. So you know, if you're selling policies, it ends up making sense. But either way, I mean, just honestly guys, like getting into this business is not cheap. So if you don't have money to invest into a dialer and you can't like spend the money to make it work for yourself, you should probably just go get a job and save up money. And that's just me being honest. Right? So ladies and gents, These are the best two dialers for life insurance agents. I'm going to include links down below this video for you guys to get signed up for both of them.
