How many calls does it take to make half a million dollars as a life insurance agent? Let's break down the number. Let's say you're at 100 point comp. Your average policy size is a thousand bucks, you're paying $35 a lead for a high quality branded Facebook lead, and you're closing at a 12% closing rate. You would need to make 591 outbound calls every single day, which is not impossible, but for most people they're not going to be able to keep that up. So if your goal is to make half a million dol as a life insurance agent, I would recommend at the very least having a small team under you to help you hit this goal. Want to know how I got to these numbers? I used a free tool that we created called the Insurance Profitability Calculator. All you do is put in how much you want to make, put your comp level and your closing percentage and it'll work backwards to tell you how many calls and how much AP you need to write. So if you have a goal, drop it in the comments down below and I'll work backwards to tell you how many calls you need to make.
