How To Do Fulfillment For An AI Marketing Agency

Tim and Julian walk through building fulfillment for an AI marketing agency using roofing as an example. They show how to research a market on Reddit and YouTube, pull competitor ads, and use an AI assistant called Manus to find high-converting angles like storm damage inspections and insurance-driven leads. The core: understand what customers actually need before you build the offer.

All right, what's going on, ladies and gents? So in today's live stream, we're basically going to be talking about how to do fulfillment for your AI marketing agency. All right, so essentially what I'm going to do is we'll just kind of pick like a random niche. You mute up there. We're essentially going to just pick a random niche and then kind of like roll through and I'll show you guys how I would figure out how to do fulfillment for. For that specific niche. All right, so we got a couple people joining in. Got my business partner on here as well. And basically we're gonna basically run through like a live demo on. On everything here. So let's see if you guys have a niche that you want us to kind of like prove this out for and show you what it would look like. Just drop it in the comments down below and we'll roll through everything and just do like a live demo here. Julian, what's going on, brother? How's Christmas in Brazil?
It's actually summertime, so it's hot.
It's.
Christmas is in the summer here, if you can tell. I'm probably a little bit sweaty. No way. I can get away from it, unfortunately, but it's good. We just got back from. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. It's hot, dude. And it's humid, so love it. Here we are.
But it's great. Cool. So does anyone have a niche? An example, if your niche sucks, I'm not going to pick it, but if it's like a, you know, a good niche, I will roll it out. If not, I'll just like randomly pick one. The one that comes to my mind is like roofing or.
Maybe like plastic surgery or something.
The. The biggest thing I'll. I'll touch on this as someone drops their. Their comment down below and we'll do the live demo here is one of the biggest things that I've realized is.
You get to pick your customer when you start a business. And it's very, very critical that you actually, like, really think through that thoroughly and actually sell to rich people. Right. Everyone has heard that cliche, you get to pick your customer, sell to rich people. But how do you actually put that into practice? Right. Well, one thing that I would recommend looking at when it comes to finding a niche is you want to look at where is the flow of money in terms of marketing. Right. So.
Which industries spend the most money on marketing? Right. Because ultimately the money they spend on marketing is just going to be going to you as opposed to Some different channel. And so if you can find an industry where they're already spending a lot on marketing, on advertising, and you just capture a little bit of that, you're going to be wildly successful and wildly rich. I'm not going to do SaaS because that's like, there's too many different types of SaaS. I want to do like something specific. I'll just do roofing, right? Yeah, we'll do roofing. That's cool. So let me open up like a little doc here and we can kind of roll through this in terms of like what the fulfillment actually looks like and how to start this. All right, so the first thing that I'm going to be thinking through is when it comes to fulfillment for a AI marketing agency, the number one most important thing is you're getting people leads. Right? I think we can all agree on that. Pretty simple. You're getting people leads. That's like the whole thing that you're doing. Let me share my screen. Cool. The whole thing is you're getting people leads. Now leads kind of come on a spectrum. You're going to have low quality leads and you're going to have high quality leads.
And you're going to have everything in between low quality and high quality.
The closer you can get to this. Me. Zoom in a little bit.
The closer you can get to this, the more money you can charge people. Right.
What you'll realize is the majority.
Of your competition in any given industry is terrible.
All right. Majority of your competition is terrible in any given industry.
When we first came into the insurance industry, the ads that people were running. Oh my God. I mean, Julian, you can speak to it a little bit. It was just like, it was abysmal. Like, what kind of stuff were we seeing?
I remember this was even more recently, but I saw one company was running a button like. Oh, let me, let me rewind. They were running a clip art picture of a red button, like, kind of like, like what you would imagine a nuke button would look like. And it was literally just like a clip art picture of a button. And it was like, click here. If you are a senior.
They'Re selling that as the lead. And then obviously, like they're getting a terrible feedback and a lot of blowback from their customers because of it. But it's like stuff like that. People would just post a picture of a state flag.
So they would.
There'd be people that would like to screenshot a picture on a. On a Google picture of like the state of North Carolina or like the State of Texas. The craziest one I saw was somebody running ads in the state of. I think it was Tennessee. And they used the Georgia state seal. So it was like not even the same state. And they were like calling out one state, but it was like a picture from some others. It was just terrible. And that's, that's a lot of what's still out there. Yeah.
What I found is, like.
When you're building a business, there's like, there's a lot of things you can focus on, right? And the promise is all tied back into fulfillment because this is all about fulfillment. But if you're going to get fulfillment, right.
There'S like a few things that you should focus on in any and in any given business, right? Like if you're, if you're going to build a restaurant, if you can pick one thing that you get, right? Like, yes, for first and foremost, you want a starving crowd. But it comes to actually building your product, you just want to have really good food. Like, if your food is really good, even if the service is like, meh, people still come back for the food, right? I think we can all agree on that. Like, we've gone to restaurants where it's like, the service is I. But the food is so good that you continue to go back. So what is that? For an AI marketing agency, it is unequivocally leads, bar none, right? In the quality of the leads. So the majority of your competition is terrible. We're going to talk about why. I'm going to show you how to not be terrible, right?
Everything else, right? Like you have leads, you know, your automations.
You know, you, you might have like an AI chatbot.
You know, maybe your CSM team, like your customer support, right? Your account managers.
Your AI dialer or whatever, right? Like, all these things are way less important than leads. Leads are by far the most important thing. And the quality of the leads, if you get them. Leads that convert, none of this other stuff matters. It's all the cherry on top. So I want you guys, whenever you're coming into a new industry, if you're breaking into a new niche is the first thing you need to focus on is how do I get them? Quality leads that actually convert. If you get that right, everything else is easy. Does that make sense? Cool. So majority of your competition is terrible because in any given industry, there's something I call niche gypsies. All right? Some of you guys are niche gypsies. Niche gypsies basically means that you don't actually have a home that you call a home. You jump from niche to niche to niche to niche to niche to niche to niche. And you don't understand the nuance that actually goes behind delivering a service at a high level. You don't understand the industry on a deep level where you can deliver something that's just actually excellent. That's what a niche gypsy is. Probably 80 or 90% of the market at any given point is a niche gypsy, basically meaning they've been in the industry.
For less than a year.
And they're always kind of like, looking at a different opportunity. They're looking for something else. Right. Like, I'll talk to guys and it's like, yeah, I'm in the roofing niche, but I'm thinking about switching. Why people make millions of dollars a year selling to roofers. Well, I don't know. Right. That's. That's niche gypsies. They're just looking for a different niche to go do. But where you, Tim?
I think, yeah, I wanted to throw something in with the niche gypsy is one of the biggest things that I see oftentimes is it's usually. It's usually that they run into a problem that they can't solve.
Yeah. 100.
Which is why they switch. So it's like they get into selling to roofers and then they realize that maybe roofers need leads and want leads, but they don't know how to close the leads. And so then they're like, okay, cool, I don't know how to teach roofers how to sell stuff. They don't inherently say that out loud, but it's like, I don't know how to solve this problem, so I'm just going to leave. Whereas, like, with our business, we literally had to, like, bring in coaches to teach these people how to sell. We literally had to bring in coaches to sell the deal for the client. That's how crazy it got and how crazy it is. But it's like that's. That's a solvable problem that most people turn in. They go niche jitsu mode on that stuff. After they see that, you know, oh, wow, this is harder than I thought. Which is why there's so few big businesses that actually hit like eight figures, nine figures a year in total. Top line is because most people are not willing to solve the problem, correct?
100%. Yeah. It's a super important additive is like, they just jump from niche to niche because once they run into something they don't know how to solve, they just move on. And a lot of times that's the leads. A lot of times they don't know how to generate the leads because they just go and they just copy what other people are doing without doing what I'm going to show you guys today. All right, cool.
So let's say I'm selling the roofers. All right? We're just going to put down roofers right here. The steps that I'm going to take is first and foremost, the first thing that I'm going to do is I'm going to look at every single sophisticated and unsophisticated competitor in the market. Right? And we'll walk through this in a moment, look at every single competitor in the market. I'm going to look at Reddit threads from roofers bitching about leads.
I'm also going to figure out what are the ideal clients for roofers.
Right? What are the clients that they make the most money on? Highest value.
Easiest to deal with. Right. I want to understand all of these things. I'm not just going to jump into a niche and just freaking screenshot some ads and throw them up, and then all of a sudden, I'm like, the best roofing AI marketing agency in the world. No, that's dumb. You have to understand the market first. It starts with the customer and it starts with the market, and everything stems from there. Right? So.
I'll figure out what are the ideal clients for roofers, and then I will conduct research on, like, our roofing leads generated.
Right? How are roofing leads generated?
What are the different platforms?
Right. Who are the highest earners in the industry?
I'm basically just going to figure out literally every single possible thing that I can. I'm going to watch podcasts from roofers.
I'm also going to watch podcasts from competitors.
Talking about what they did. Right.
We all have an advantage when you're getting into a business, which is that successful people like to talk. Right. When someone's successful in something, usually they want to brag about how successful they are. Like, there's videos where I talk about how we built our company. So if someone was getting new insurance, they probably are going to go and watch every single video that I've made talking about that. And that would be very intelligent to do. You should do the same thing whenever you get into a new industry. Right? And they'll share all their secrets because they just want to sound smart on a podcast. It's a hack, I'm telling you. It really is. Right? Especially, like the really big ones. A lot of times they'll just share everything. So let's kind of roll through how to actually do this. Julian, anything to add before we kind of like go through and create like a little live example here?
No, I think you nailing it so far.
Cool. First thing I'm going to do is I'm just going to go and look up how are roofing leads generated? Right. And this is a, this is a long process. So I'm just going to show you guys like what I would actually do. This might not be the most entertaining thing, but it's going to be extremely tactical and you guys are going to understand and see how you could do this for your own industry. Like I might play a YouTube video and just working, we might be like on silent. You're just listening to this YouTube video, figuring out what to do. So.
Here is a Reddit thread. Reddit is your best friend when you're doing market research. I'm gonna go and open this up. We might just start here. Cool. Starting a roofing company, what's the best way to get leads? Starting out, I've decided to make the jump to start a roofing company. What's the best way you found to generate roofing leads? Is door knocking and damage finding lucrative? I'm assuming numbers game and driving a lot to find damage. All right, so we're just going to make a separate little thing here. I'm just going to say roofers and I'm basically just going to copy and paste language that I see them saying. Decided to make the jump start a roofing company. Is door knocking and finding damage lucrative? What about examining the ages of roofs and targeting that way? So I might say door knocking is a common way to find leads post storm damage.
Yeah, I got something to add here too.
Yeah, real quick that I think, yes, we're all really good use AI to do this research. But to start off, I'm 100 going to be doing this manual. Go ahead, Olivia.
Yeah, the thing as well is like, you know, for example, a lot of what is going to be dependent too, because you're talking about in person businesses is going to be their location. So like I'm, I'm moving to Colorado and they have major hail damage there constantly and so they have like the highest insurance claims, some of the highest insurance claims in the country. And I know that because I'm having to get quotes for insurance and they're crazy. And so it's like, you know, keeping in mind if I'm we're going after roofers, I want to also look at like where are the most dense areas in the country for roofing damage. Because, like, I also have lived in other parts of the country where roofing damage is not really a big deal at all. Like in Arizona or North Carolina doesn't really have a bunch of, like, they have some storms, but it's not like Colorado or if I went to, you know, Montana, they might have terrible storms up there with like the ice and stuff. So it's like keeping in mind the environmental factors of the markets is just as important because if you tried taking this to like, let's say New York City, for example, where it's like very, very small amount of residential houses and it's mostly like skyscrapers and big buildings and commercial stuff, you're probably not going to be able to find as much opportunity if they don't have like catastrophic roofing damage constantly type of thing. So I thought that was worth noting.
That's a really good point. And that's like, that's something that's industry specific. Like in insurance, we're not thinking about what states do people die in the most, therefore they need life insurance.
Right, right.
It's more of like, what states have the best regulation, what states have the most people, because you pay to buy a license for a state, and then you. You then unlock that entire population of people. So if I can pay $200 to get all of the state of California or $100 to get the whole state of Texas, or I might have to pay $350 to get the state of Michigan. Michigan. You know what I mean? So it's all these little nuances that the n. The niche gypsies do not understand because they're not in the game long enough to get it. And then when they jump on a sales call and talk to someone from this industry that actually understands what they're talking about and knows all the terms and knows all the vocabulary, you just sound like an idiot. Right. So I might ask, what are the states that have the most storm damage? This might be something I'd research later. Let's just continue going through this Reddit thread. Door knocking is the best return on investment. This is a belief that the market is holding basically no overhead. Besides the gas you use and door hanging slash business cards, it's the best way to get off the ground and rolling. Cool. So these guys doorknock a lot. That could be something I could say in my ad.
As like, hey, door knocking sucks. Do you want to be a slave to the doors your entire life or do you want to actually own a business? This Galaxy says besides that SEO and online marketing is a more long term play that requires more upfront investment in a continuous budget. It's good to get started on, but I wouldn't rely on it alone for the first couple years. So what I'm seeing here, and obviously I'm going to, you know, continue going, I want to see more proof to kind of get what people are saying. But like beginners are going to try to stay away from online marketing, which is good because if we're doing online marketing, we don't want to serve beginners. Then this guy says, Google business profile isn't a long term play. It's quicker than knocking, honestly. And while SEO is a slower burn, you can reach every city within a two hour radius or however far you want to drive. You can never knock on that many doors. Most importantly, online marketing brings you qualified leads by letting your digital assets weed out tire kickers. Banger. I'm gonna copy this entire thing. Not saying door knocking isn't useful, but to only rely on that or even let that be your main source of leads is a bit short sighted.
Ad copy right there. That's literally ad copy. No offense intended, but I had this combo with too many roofers usually come back, oh, this guy's a marketer, so of course he's saying this, but still they usually come back to me a year later and tell me I was right. Or maybe he's not a marketer. Well, they don't usually actually say that because they're stubborn sons of guns, but they imply it. Boom. Copy. I'm gonna add this to my doc.
And this like this process. The more you do this and the more you understand your market.
This is what separates the winners from the people that lose or the nick the niche gypsies, which is what I'm gonna call them. Right. It's a good sales pitch, but keep in mind. Okay.
Okay, so this guy must be a marketer because people responding like that, SEO is probably the worst way to get started. Everyone wants from page and front page. In six months you are not doing SEO is more three plus years. So this is a way that I could advertise against SEO in my marketing and say, hey, online leads is faster. Right. For example, let's keep going. I have a Google business profile running and I'm not familiar with the technology side of it. Google my business is like super simple technology wise. So if this guy doesn't get the technology of Google my business, that might be telling me something about the niche. Right? Currently running ads on Facebook. And I didn't create a strong profile for Google. Would you mind helping me out with the SEO part? So these guys are like, he just posted that he helps people with it, and dozens and dozens and dozens and dozens of people are commenting under it saying that they want to work with them, which is pretty cool.
There's five more replies here.
I need help with lsa, which is local search advertising.
He said, don't put any more money into Facebook ads. I've yet to see that work. For roofing, you're better off putting it in the bank. You need LSA ads. I'll send you a dm. So that's somebody's opinion. Could be right, could be wrong, I don't know. But roofers might be weary of Facebook ads. Right? So I'm going to put that down here. Let's keep going. What is the best avenue for online marketing? Currently doing an SEO campaign, taking a lot of time to get rolling. Work is coming in, but on a trickle. I keep hearing door knocking is the way to go. Are there any tools out there that. So these are a lot of guys telling you, like, door knocking. Sales rabbit for door knocking. Never heard of that. But that's probably a software they use. I'm just going to copy that and put it on the dock. Right.
One thing I would say that's big here is if you're, especially if you're brand new, you don't know what you don't know. Like, I'm not even saying brand new to, like, roofers for the sake of this example, but I mean just brand new to, like, online business and building an AI agency. So if you're going through and you're seeing, like, Tim going through this, all those questions that he keeps asking as he copies and pastes that over are questions that I would put down at the bottom of your sheet. Because to get a full understanding of how this market thinks, works, and talks and everything, you're going to have to investigate deeper into these topics. So if they say, hey, Facebook and SEO don't work, it's like, okay, why do they think that? What makes them say that? And so as I go through and create my marketing materials, I want to find that out. And then on my sales calls, when I'm doing, when I'm going through and talking to these guys, it's like I'm going to take notes on if they say things, and then I'm going to take notes on the reasons why they're saying those things. Like, maybe they say, Facebook doesn't work because it's too expensive. It's like, okay, well why do you think that? Right? And maybe they just suck at running ads. But those are the quote like the, the intangible like adjacent questions that you need to be asking as you're going through is like, why are they saying what they're saying? Not just what are they saying. It's kind of a level deeper. But I thought that was super valuable, especially for new people.
100%. I've been selling roofs for five years now, doing the groundwork on getting my company going as well. I'll be using whatever that is since I'm accustomed to using it. My leads are mainly referrals. That's the best lead. Once at a blue moon, I'll knock doors if I stumble upon a good neighborhood. I've had Internet leads before and a lot of them are bs. Knock doors and get referrals is the best way to go. Cool. So there's gonna be some like Internet leads or BS objections that I may need to overcome, which is common. Very common.
We have found Google Ads and local service ads work really well for getting leads. If you are thinking on doing some Google Ads, here's some tips on how to build a landing page. This guy's probably also a marketer. But now I just found a Facebook page and I just found one of my competitors.
And for a niche like this, this is actually a pretty big channel too. Like almost 10k for this is looks.
Like niches, local businesses, not just roofers. But I'm still going to save this YouTube channel right here. So I'm going to go competitor.
Paste without formatting and I'm going to leave that there. Right? And I'm like, this process, obviously we're not going to do it for five hours or a whole day, but like I might spend an entire.
Week, half a week doing this, right? Hey. I run a call center and a digital marketing fir. I've been working with a few roofing companies for a year now, so I have a bit of experience in your field. Okay, cool. This guy's trying to sell some. Let's keep going. I put up signs at traffic intersections. I get calls every time it rains. From residentials to minimum malls, mini malls to hotels and random businesses. It's wild. Those signs work 24, 7 and almost free. It's one facet of how I get untapped, untouched leads from truly motivated customers. DIY is a way to go. Good luck out there. All right, so.
I'm showing you guys a little bit of the manual aspect. I also want to, in the meantime, we're going to have AI working in the background. So we're going to open up Manus AI.
And I'm going to go here, I'm going to say, help me do deep research on what type of marketing works in the roofing niche.
And what type of leads roofers want to work.
I'm starting an AI marketing agency in this space and I want to fully understand the market.
The pain points.
What they want.
What a high quality versus low quality lead means to them.
And.
I'm sure some people are probably also wondering, like, why would you go to Manus instead of like maybe chat GPT, which is a little more mainstream, for example?
Yeah, Manus actually does the research.
It's actually gonna go and search everything. So I'm gonna say, cool. So I'll leave it at that. And then I'm gonna say scrape podcast transcripts about roofing.
Every Reddit thread you can possibly find.
About.
Roofers. Find the top competitors.
In the space.
And what they are doing.
And forums as well.
Create me a full report with cited sources. And this is like, this is not like some. I'm just kind of like listing out what I need. But I'll explain the, the philosophy and the idea behind this and we could turn it into like a prompt. You guys could copy and paste, but it's better that you understand why I'm asking, what I'm asking, then you just copy and paste it. Because it's not about, it's not about having the info, it's about understanding the info and the purpose behind it. That actually makes you good. Right.
And in depth research. Boom. So I'm gonna have my AI agent assistant working in the background while I'm also going and doing research myself. Okay. So does anyone have questions? You guys kind of see like what I'm doing, why I'm doing it.
We're going to kind of let Manus do its thing and I'm going to kind of pause pulley on if you have anything to add or if anyone has any questions. Now would be the time before we go and we start looking at competitors. And then that's going to open up a whole other rabbit hole that's just going to get absolutely insane.
I think one of the things that's super worth noting and I keep kind of going back to some of the beginners because there's a lot of things early on that people will tell you are good to do or not to do.
Yeah.
And I hear like, people will talk about like, oh my God, like, I had a buddy that I was actually talking to a few weeks ago. He was like, or a few months ago now actually, he's like, oh my God, dude. Like, should I invest? Should I just like throw down like 10 to 12k on a new website? I was like, bro, what? And you know, that's like, for him, that was substantial comparative to his business's revenue, and he was already making a bunch of sales and it had nothing to do with his website.
Right.
He didn't even, he didn't even need a website for what he was doing specifically. He was a one off. Different situation. But all that to say that this is where I would start if I'm. If I'm you and I'm a beginner and I'm like, dude, what do I. Where do I even start? It's like, you don't need a website. You don't need to go off and start like worrying about necessarily so much, like setting up a logo or what even the name of the company is, is like first step. Who's my customer? So that I can make those things to have a place to receive them.
Right?
Because like, if you were trying to. If your customer was like a, you know, cigar smokers, and I just go off and build this whole thing, but it's like the complete opposite of what cigar smokers want, then that doesn't really help. But cigar lounges are able to attract cigar customers because they have a big old cigar cigar logo. It smells like, you know, the, the highest level of cigars, like Cubans or whatever it is out there. Um, and so it's like they attract people with like a lounge type of vibe where you can sit and talk and have drinks and there's like a bar because that's what that clientele wants. But if. Imagine if they just like set up a, a room with white walls, bright lights, and it had like a surgery table on it and they were like, cigar lounge. Like, come in and get at your city. Like, nobody would go there. It would be like, this is some black market crap. And so I think that was, you know, something that, as a beginner, I wish I knew because it was.
I.
There were so many businesses that I went through and started when I was first, like starting out, where it was like, let me just get a website or, you know, let me just go buy $10,000, $12,000 worth of inventory like Tim and I did a few years ago, and keep it in the, in the basement, right? Or like, let's go do this or that. And so I think that this is the best place to start.
Yeah, you always need to start with the demand in the market. Right. So.
Any questions? If you guys are all good, just put a one in the chat. So I know you have a question. Drop in the chat. Just want to make sure you guys are still tracking. We've covered a decent bit. It's about to get more intense. So one in the chat if you're following. Question, if you have a question.
I know there's a little bit of a delay. So as we're catching up here on the live stream, I'm going to go ahead and start pulling up the ads library and we're going to go into competitors.
Cool. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to search for the roofing competitors before I search for what the type of ads they're running to get the roofing. All right. The reason why is if a competitor is already successful, they're running a lot of ads, then I can go back and I can actually go to Reddit and I can go to reviews and I can see what people think about them. And if people are happy, they have terrible reviews, that's good for me. And if they have really good reviews, that's also good for me because either way it gives me information. Right. So roofing leads.
And I'm going to find literally infinite options of people selling things. Right. Origin, solar roofing and contractors. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to open up. Let's see. What is this? Okay, this is not. This is like they install a sales team for people. Probably not going to do that.
We build lo. We build and run local lead generation machines.
Okay. They do like everything home services, so that's cool. I might open this up in a new link. Want to find their website? Western Colorado Marketing Agency with visual storytelling. That doesn't sound like a high in demand service, but let's see what's in.
So they're doing like something super. Let me share my sound so you guys can hear this. This is like super local market based. Like only if you're on the western slope of Colorado. Like they're definitely not doing big numbers. No offense.
No, nobody lives out there, dude.
Yeah, yeah. Western Colorado.
Definitely not hella roof damage though.
Okay, so I see this guy's running multiple ads. Home service business owners spending two to three hundred dollars per day. Read this. Okay, let's see what's up with this guy.
Okay. 2.1 thousand followers www.marketmonster.com okay, so I'm going to look this guy up. Market Monster.
Roofing.
Market Monster llc.
I create roofing sales versus roofing leads.
Okay.
Go back to this guy's website. It's just a vsl, but let's see what his offer is.
Hey, thanks so much for taking the time to visit my page. Look around, look at the testimonials. All right, this guy's not doing big numbers. Do you guys know why?
Because I can tell immediately that this, this guy's like, kind of like, newer. Again, no offense to him. I'm sure he's doing great. But there's a level of. There's a skill set, level difference between someone that's doing really well and someone that's not. The reason that I say he's not doing big numbers is one. I would Never host a VSL on YouTube.
He also started this video with like, hey, thanks for visiting my page.
And then he has like five call to actions on the page. You want to have like a simple page, one call to action. And you want your VSL to be, like, well written in a clearly defined offer. There's no clearly defined offer here. I work with you one on one to help you scale your company online. That also gives it away. If he's working with you one on one, he's not doing big numbers because he doesn't have a company. So probably not going to look at this guy too much.
I'm going to try to find big dogs in the industry.
Okay, let's see. What's this?
Home service business owners. Google Maps is dying.
And if you're still relying on it alone to drive leads, your business is already falling behind. There's been a. So let's see. Sir Marketing IO.
These guys look like they might be a little more successful. They work with some bigger roofing companies. So I am going to add these guys to the competitor page. All right? And I want to know what their offer is. Be the number one contractors, homeowner. See when they look on map search or AI. So they're basically doing like SEO essentially, right? SEO, which is probably like, that's probably a good idea for the roofing niche. Maybe, maybe not. We'll see. We're just doing info gathering, right? And I also have AI doing info gathering for me too. So I'm doing two things at once, right? We're. We're in a good spot here.
Keep going. Zach D. Lorenzo. So I'm going to click here.
This guy's also doing SEO rank top three in Google in two weeks before you ever pay us a dime. That's his offer. That's interesting. I can come back to that. So I'm seeing like kind of a common thread of like there's a lot of SEO marketing in this industry, right? You guys are seeing that as well? Hopefully.
Let's keep going. Warning, our system will break a small team. Cool.
Tim, what is. I want to ask, I think this is a question that is worth asking is like why if everyone else is doing SEO, does that mean that I should do SEO?
Does that.
Does that mean that if maybe I don't have. Maybe if I have expertise in another thing, maybe I'm good at TikTok advertising, does that mean that I should change up what I'm doing? Is that something to consider or should I try and pitch against it? Why? Why not? What are you thinking through?
I just want to see what the demand is. Because any skill is learnable, right? Or any person is hireable. I can hire an SEO guy to come and do this. I need him. I don't need to be an SEO expert. Or I can learn. I can buy a course and learn SEO. It doesn't really matter. And learn on YouTube for free and literally just conversate with AI and have it teach me SEO at the level of like a nine figure SEO agency. It's. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. But I want to start with the demand, right? I want to start with the demand. Okay, this is interesting. This guy's in a Ferrari.
That'll usually tell you at least something, right? 11k subscribers. See, I opened my marketing firm specifically in the roofing industry eight years ago. I've worked terrible hook. See what's going on here?
The Lambo.
Okay, so he's recruiting roofing reps. So that, I mean, that could be interesting, right? Like maybe the game is you help roofers recruit people. That might be the. The demand that they have. So I'm gonna at least add this here. I'm gonna add this guy's. Well, let's see.
Okay, this is like a church thing. That's cool. I'm just gonna his Facebook page because I can always find his ads. Go back and do that.
I might just say roofing recruiting reps.
Right? Let's keep going.
We already saw Sir Marketing. They have a decent bit of ads.
Roofers across the US are using this tool to close more jobs. Instant roofer, instant measure reports. Okay. This is like a software. I'll at least add it.
We're gonna go back. Boom. Paste. It's gonna say software because it's kind of like a little bit out outside the realm of what we've been looking at here.
I'm gonna keep going. I know a little bit about the roofing industry. I know that there's a company called. I think it's called NCT Marketing. So let me just double check that name, NCT Marketing.
I think that's also something that's media, that's dope. Is like, how can I. Like if I. Especially if you're young, like I saw there's some guys in the group that are like 16, 18, 20 years old.
If you're.
If you have a specific niche that you have any level of familiarity with, like maybe your dad is a roofer or a plumber or an electrician, or maybe your family owns a real estate brokerage or maybe they specialized in dentistry. I don't know. Whatever it is, the more closely related you can get to try and like, getting any specific knowledge advantages in your niche is from what I found, super valuable.
100%. So here we go. Look at how many ads this guy's running.
Do you guys think this guy's making money, yes or no?
Let me phrase it this way. If you were not making money, would you be. Would you have this many ads.
And continue to spend? No. So this is a good sign, right? So I'm going to go and I'm probably going to look at every single one of his ads for the sake of time. Not going to do that.
In this video, you want to hire on two more roofing sales reps, buy three more trucks, and expand into the next territory, but you can't because you don't have the confidence that you can deliver enough opportunity to support that investment. And this uncertainty is killing your growth. I know that feeling, and that's why we built a system that scales with you. I'll get you five to eight qualified appointments for you, your sales team, every single day. There's no ad spend, there's no retainer. You just have a fixed cost per qualified appointment. This is the exact same system that helped Dylan get an extra 600 appointments in just 30 days, giving him more certainty and stability to expand his operations. It works because we handle everything from generating the lead to qualifying them to booking them directly into your calendar. So you get a scalable client acquisition system that scales with your business. So if you're ready to scale your roofing business with confidence, click the lawnmower button below, fill out the application, and see if you're a good Fit you want to hire on two more roofing sales reps, buy three.
I would consider that a good ad, right? I think that's a really good ad. The reason why is a clearly defined offer. He's speaking to people that want to grow their business. So he's not going to get like beginner roofers. And literally in his copy it says roofers doing 2.5 million a year or more.
Right? So he. He's calling out a qualified customer. So what I would want to do is I want to go through and like click on every single one of these ads. Because what's going to happen is my browser is going to get pixeled. Okay? My browser is going to get pixeled. As somebody who is interested in roofing, what is then going to happen is you're going to open up your Instagram app and you're going to scroll through and every single time you see an ad marketing towards roofers or marketing roofs, you are going to click on it and do whatever action short of buying and booking a call. Okay? Don't book calls and no show people. That's bad karma. But you can click on it, fill out their forms, do whatever. You need Facebook to think that you are either know both of these things. You need Facebook to think that you want to buy a roof and that you want to buy roofing leads. Okay. Or roofing appointments. Because what's going to happen with Facebook's algorithm is you're going to see every single ad that is in circulation on meta, going after roofers or going after roofs. So when you see an ad in your niche, click on the damn ad and watch the whole thing. Okay? You basically need to train your algorithm to show you what you want to see. Does that make sense? Is everyone clear on that? So, yes, you can use Instagram productively.
Anytime you see an ad, send it to yourself or send it to your business partner, your friend or whatever. So you just have it saved and thread. I think you can also do it with four Play, where you can send it to Foreplay. That's the tool that I use here. Normally, as I would be going through, I'd be saving these ads on Foreplay and building a swipe file. I'm not going to do that because I don't want to have a bunch of roofing ads on my foreplay board. But I'm going to go ahead and save this page, add it to the competition board.
And now that I've found some sophisticated competition, I'll put his offer 528 appointments.
Per day only, pay per climate. I'm going to go and I'm going to search up reviews. NCT Media reviews.
All right, let's see. Better Business Bureau. No complaints. That's not going to tell me anything.
Has anyone used NCT Media for preset appointments? Open this up.
Nope, nobody has.
On this. Contractor appointments. Let's see the trust pilot reviews. This looks like a different company, but I still want to see the reviews and I want to see what people say. Right.
This is kind of similar. I don't. This is not the same company.
Doesn't look like they have a trust pilot.
Can't find them. But that's fine.
Because I'm going to find other roofing marketing agencies I'm going to go through, but I think I'm going to see. But I think that they're also doing roofing appointments inbound. Helping homeowners find contractors. Contractors find customers. Improving best experience for everybody. Cool. Whatever. Don't care. Let's look at these. If you want to spend money for nothing, this is the place to do it. I spent over 2, 400 for appointments in bed. Not even sign up one. Don't waste your time or money. Okay.
So this is during Corona. These are the most recent reviews of like from 2020. So this could be valuable, but it's like kind of old. It's kind of old. So I'm going to skip that for now.
We're going to keep going.
NNCT social media team. Okay. That's a different, different company.
So it looks like he does solar and roofing right now. I would go through and I would watch his entire VSL and I would take notes on it. What is he doing? What is he saying?
I don't know why this is in, you know, language. That is. That's not Spanish. Is that Portuguese?
Where? Here?
Just in that picture. Yeah. No, No, I don't think so.
I don't think that's Spanish. Maybe that's French or some, I don't.
Know, French. Okay, weird. Why is this in French?
Is this guy French? Is he French Canadian?
Are you sick and tired of chasing down unqualified?
Is he Canadian? I don't know. That might actually matter. That could, you know, because if I'm marketing in the U.S. and I live in the U.S. people are kind of like naturally as bad as it sounds, people are naturally distrusting of people that are like from a. From a different. Even as can. Even if it's Canada. Right. So, you know, especially like contractors and roofers.
Who knows, right? Who knows? But it's just like, you know, I'm. I'm going to be going and looking at even those details. Like, why is this in French? That doesn't make sense.
So basically they do appointments I would go through and I want to see these testimonials. This is going to be gold. So let's see. All right, man, how about yourself? Doing good.
This meeting is being recorded to put the face here.
Yeah, yeah, that's good. That's good.
Perfect. Well, I just wanted to. And this can be like five minutes or whatever, can be pretty quick just for the testimony, whatnot. I can just ask you some questions about. Basically when you start with us to where we're at now, you can just answer them transparently and we can be good to go from there. Makes sense.
Okay.
Okay, perfect. So, yeah, I want you to talk to me about the first one that you guys came on. I think that was a hundred packet you guys came on, correct?
Yeah, it was. And it was just in a small market. Well, hold up. Roofing Pros usa, let's see if they're running ads. Because if they.
Are running ads, I might be able to see the type of ads that they're running. So they're not running ads, but I.
Would go and like, this guy sells lead packs, though.
Yeah, he does, but maybe didn't used to do that always.
You know what I mean? And I'm still going to learn about the industry. So, like this, these people have like a nice website, right? They have kind of a nice website. They got reviews, testimonials. I want to see. Why are people buying roofs?
This is in Florida. Probably, you know, taking Florida's home by storm. That's play on words because Florida has a lot of storms, probably a lot of roof replacements.
This is probably going to be a state by state type of industry, Right. I'm not going to run this nationwide because I'm not going to sell any damn roofs in Arizona. Might sell a lot of solar in Arizona. Probably not a ton of roofs. So let's see, why is this guy so happy? I came on, did a 100 pack with. With NCT and we had pretty good success there. I think we. We closed those at like, you know, around 40%. Okay. Why does it keep doing that? Let's see what was confirmed. So I had pretty, pretty good money. All right, so he closed 40%. Is this the same guy? Different guy, Weird. I don't know what's going on. So I'm just gonna, you know, this is kind of just like, I'm just Jotting things down. Right. This is not, this doesn't have to be super organized but like NCT Media.
Roofing.
And if this, NCT Media guys watching this, sorry for exposing your business, but I think you're doing a good job. So hopefully you take it as a compliment. Roofing Pros USA right?
Closed 40% of leads. Happy client testimonial. Okay, let's keep going. See why else is, why else is this guy winning there? Oh my gosh.
And correct me if I'm wrong too, but before when you guys signed on, we had like a little bit of a hiccup in the beginning there was a little slow get started.
Right.
When we were able to get it going, stuff started pouring in for you guys, correct?
Yeah, absolutely. I think, you know, over a month's time. I think the first week, couple weeks was pretty stagnant. And then, you know, towards the end of the month we really seen some increase in lead generation.
Right, right. Okay, perfect. And then from that 100 pack, you guys saw enough success to make you guys want to do a 600 pack which is essentially going into six different markets.
Correct.
You froze.
Oh, can you hear me?
Yep, I got you. You want to wipe? It's not this guy who's conducting the testimony. You can see the red on the Internet. It's this guy. His Internet's bad.
Right.
I think that something that's super cool about this though, like in terms of.
Testimonial quality.
If you have, if you're getting your first one or if you're trying to get your first one or if you already have one or whatever. One thing that I really like that this guy that from NCT is doing is that he's, he's like, he's not sugarcoating or over promising. He's like, yeah, I know it was slow for the first couple of weeks. Like you guys weren't even really getting anything going until almost a month in. But then after that it kind of picked up and he's like, oh yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly. So like this, this testimonial is super raw and real and it's very conversational. So it's not like polish edited where it's like, you know, okay, maybe this was thrown together with AI or something. It's like you can see them like trying to figure out zoom. You can see the other guys Internet connection. Like that's a very believable testimonial as like a consumer looking at this. If I'm a roofer, I'm like, oh, this guy definitely Knows like, he's definitely a roofer too.
And then I can go and find this guy, lives in Florida, vice president of retail at Roofing Pro. So he's. I don't even know if this guy's the owner, but I could go through and like, stalk this guy's Facebook a little bit to see, like, what the roofers are like, you know what I mean? Like, I literally copied and pasted this guy's Facebook profile and I'm gonna have a list of what the. What roofer look like, what, what do they do, what do they act like? What do they say for a second?
Okay, sorry about that. And I was saying that at the end of that 100 pack, you saw some good success with that, which is why you guys end up doing a 600 pack and, you know, six different markets on 100 pack, correct?
That's correct.
Okay, so tell me about how previous month went with the 600 pack there.
Yeah, so it was pretty, pretty steady lead flow off of that. You know, the one thing I would say is, right, so I'm not going to watch this whole thing for the sake of time, but I would go through and watch like all of these. This is the first company that's provided what they say they're going to provide. Boom. I'm actually going to watch this one. Hi, guys.
My name is Tim north with Eagles Landing General Contracting, based out of Garland, Texas, just out of Dallas, and want.
To talk to you about NCT Media.
I've really enjoyed working with them. The guy that I'm working with, his name is Amir. Fabulous guy, did a great job for me. I've had an opportunity to talk to Nick as well. As you can imagine, I've been doing this a long time. I get phone calls all the time. Hey, we can get your leads. Hey, we can do this. I tried Facebook, all that stuff. I've been through the ring around a lot of that stuff, and this is actually the first company that's provided what they say they're going to provide. The leads are quality. When I show up, the people are expecting me and, and have enclosed several of them already, so I can't recommend them highly enough. I know that if you're anything like me, you're used to being told one thing and experiencing another, but you can count on what these guys say about themselves. They'll do you well. And good luck to you. I hope your business grows.
Yeah. So what do you think about this? I mean, I think it's like, kind of valuable, but not that.
I like.
That it's addressing a specific objection that you're going to get personally. Like if I'm, if I'm a sales rep working on this offer, I can send that out every time somebody's like, well, every time, you know, I've been burned a million times and every time these roofing marketers say they're going to do something, it never happens. Like, that would be a great follow up asset.
I mean, for us watching this.
I'm.
Not sure you're asking specifically.
It's not really valuable. He just says that they did what they said they did and leads thought knew that I was going to show up. So yeah, I can't really get anything from that.
But oh yeah, for us as the, as the market researchers. No, but like if I owned the business or if I was a closer, that is valuable for me to send to my customer. Yeah, for sure.
So anyway.
NCT Media, I want to figure out what are you, are the ads that they are running. Right. So what you can do is you can go and you can find the terms of service, you can copy them, you can go and search it. You can probably find their pages, right? NCT Media.
Right. Usually especially like the privacy policy is going to be like exactly this.
So you can usually find their pages. Right. If people are smart and like you got to be really smart to not do this. But.
Okay, so I don't see anything here, but sometimes if you do that, you can literally find the exact page they're running ads from. But I'm just going to go and I'm going to start clicking on a bunch of roofing ads. So I'm just going to look up like roofing.
Or new roof. New roof. And I'm gonna go and see like, what are the type of ads that are out there?
Nope. Nope. Okay. Considering a metal roof. And click on this again. I'm trying to pixel myself. Are you a homeowner? Yes. All right, I'm going to go and fill out this whole thing. Want to see what this ad is? Love the roof metal. Your workers are beautiful.
They talk with you, let you know.
What you expect from the roof. Yeah, you know, so that put me in there. Everybody was so nice. Yeah. You know, and I saw that.
Worst case, you get an estimate, decide it's not for you. Yeah, that's not a great ad, but whatever. Yeah.
It'S definitely interesting. Your, your workers are beautiful. All right, cool. Yeah, interesting. Now we're running a lot of ads that we're on the other side of 50 now. So when we do.
We're going to do a roof.
We knew we wanted a metal roof.
I truly believe this will be our last roof.
But so why, why do it two or three more times when you can.
Do it with just a metal proof?
Worst case, you get an estimate.
What is that transition?
It's like the Mario sound.
Yeah, yeah.
Look how many ads they're running. So it must be working to some extent.
It's definitely working.
They're doing like metal roofs. Right. So I'm just going to do another little thing like ads to sell roofs. And again, I would save this on like a foreplay board. So last time we talked about foreplay, F O R E P L A Y. It's a software that allows you to save ads. Doesn't matter what it sounds like, that's what it is. And so you're going to create a board, a swipe file of ads. Right. So like what I'm seeing here is like for example, first time our roof hasn't leaked. Problems with the asphalt roof that we had before, the shingles would blow off in the hurricanes. And this is the first time in like eight years since the, since the.
Last little tiny hurricane that our roof hasn't leaked.
Okay. So the metal roof thing might actually be a good angle. Right. Metal roofs.
Shingles don't come off in a hurricane.
Right. Also see another ad where they're kind of comparing like metal roof versus shingle roof.
Right. There's another ad where they're like, why should you get a metal, metal roof? I would definitely recommend getting a metal roof. It's less work to have to deal with once you get it. And also, you know, I would recommend gator any day because to me, when someone's in business that long for over 30 years, they got to know what they're doing. Googled up metal roofing companies. And I just looked through, all through several. Y' all notice that I googled up metal roofing companies. So we're back to Google, we're back to search. This is a very intent based market. Right. But we could still use Meta for sure.
So why get a metal route?
I think the other thing too to consider about this type of market is this is going to be like, you're not going to be like selling this as like a, like a desire. It seems like from what I've seen so far, you're going to be selling.
It as a need.
So like the, the roof, it gets torn off with a hurricane. Need roof gets destroyed with hail. Need Blizzard destroys your roof. Need roof Leaking every time it rains and damaging the rest of your house, which is most people's biggest investment in their life. Need. And so it's like we're looking at now or maybe it's like fires in California. Like that was a big thing recently. Maybe like last year or whatever. Okay, cool. A bunch of houses got burned down. There might be some roofs that caught fire that maybe got destroyed but didn't take down the rest of the house type of thing. It's like, how can we position ourselves to find need based sales with this type of product? Because if we're just trying to sell people a metal roof when they just got a new roof, it's probably not going to land.
Right. So.
Let'S see what this is.
I want to scroll back up real quick because I saw something. I don't know how they can run these apps. This is crazy.
Okay, scroll up, scroll up. Jesus.
On a new roof. There's one where they were like, if you live in Hurricane Alley.
I thought that was a really good. There we go. This one. Yeah, we live in Hurricane Alley. Wilmington is right straight through. One hurricane after another. I mean, it's just what it is. And you know, it's nice to know that the biggest thing that happens. And I called my insurance agent. Save 40% on your bill too, with the metal roofs. Right. And I don't even know the metal roofs is the thing. But like, say you hear what else she said? Your energy bill. What did she say?
She said, I called my insurance agent to see how much I could get. Yep, I know that's a super common sales tactic too, where they'll, they'll actually try and go and fire file insurance claims. Like a lot of these roofing companies will come and knock up on your door and they'll be like, hey, did you know you might be able to get a free roof? I just got to do an assessment real quick. And then they basically will try and pitch you on letting them replace your roof by filing it through insurance so you don't have to pay out of pocket. Which might be another angle I could think through where it's like, okay, cool.
What about maybe targeting people who are trying to file an insurance claim for a new roof. It's like, if I can make an ad like that where it's like, hey, if you're trying to file an insurance claim to get a new roof, you need to watch this video before you get taken advantage of and get a much smaller check or a roof that's not going to last as long as it possibly could type of thing. And so then you can play into the angle of the behaviors that they're taking prior to making this purchase, which is also going to be like the equivalent of, hey, did you recently have a storm in hurricane alley? Hey, did you recently have a hail storm here in Colorado? Hey, are you trying to go through and do a claim with insurance? This is just giving you more and more angles as you're going through and vetting this out.
Yeah, I don't know how these freaking ads get run. Why? Why does it even pop up for roof? What's going on? This doesn't make any sense. We're going to scroll past all the smut ads and continue until we find more roofing ads.
Were they smut ads?
That's all. All of these. Every single one you're seeing right now. Literally smut. Literally. That's weird. Yeah, dude. Big money in that. The. If the AI agency thing fails.
There'S always another opportunity. All right, here we go.
You guys can get into the smut niche.
Yeah, Apparently Jersey eco roofing. New Jersey homeowners putting off a roof replacement. This one's for you. Christmas bundle. Gives you a thousand dollars off your full roof replacement. Free seamless gutters, 50 year warranty and financing. Gonna be a big thing in roofing. They guarantee three day completion or you get 500 back. That's crazy. Would definitely save this ad. I'm just going to copy the ad link again. I don't want to make my foreplay board crazy and I'm going to copy that one. So this is kind of like a, like a, like a $100 million offer for roofs. You can see, right? Get $1,000 off plus free gutters and sidings. But guess what I'm definitely going to do click on the ad and pixel myself. Right. You guys see what I'm saying? Like, I'm gonna put in like my zip code. That's not my real zip code, but whatever. Are you a homeowner? Yes. Boom. As soon as possible. Tim.
Jones. Right. I'll put in all this stuff and I might even have these people call me too. I don't want to have these people call me. But if you're doing this niche, have people call you. Right.
Keep looking.
Actually, I'm going to check up on Manus while we're kind of going through this. So let's see. Here we go. Let's look at the executive summary and then we're going to read what it said. Completed comprehensive deep research on the roofing marketing Niche for your AI marketing agency. The report analyzes pain points. Leave fatigue. Boom. Okay, cool. Key insights. Roofers care about conversion rate, not lead volume. Very important. Most niches are like this. You know, I've seen like, I've seen a lot of different niches. There's a lot of things very similar on this.
There's a lot of things that are dissimilar as well. But there's a lot of things that are very similar.
From niche to niche. Speed to lead within minutes is critical. That's same for the every niche. These two are the same for every niche. Need 35 plus reviews before running. Effective pay per click campaigns. That's very interesting. Traditional marketing still works alongside digital. Top competitors have actual roofing experience and offer holistic solutions systems plus training. That's fine. I don't know that NCT guide necessarily does. But position as roofing growth systems provider, not an AI agency, that's a given. That's something all of you guys should be doing. So let's read what it says. I don't care about this. The roofing contractors reality. A market defined by pain. Roofing industry is characterized by a unique set of challenges that shapes the perceptions and needs of its business owners. Okay, whatever. AI fluff, critical deal breaking pain points. Vendor fatigue inundated with unsolicited offers. This is every industry, so don't let that deter you. Lead quality versus every industry. The need for every industry. Every industry. All right, cool. That was not helpful. Let's keep going.
I'll be back in a second.
All right. I really hope this is not the entire thing. Are you serious?
All right. Time to roast AI.
That was pitiful. You spent 25 minutes to get me two tiers of info and no cited sources.
Or anything I actually asked for.
Maybe my prompt was bad. I'll take responsibility for that. But I thought that this was going to be longer.
But we will say this intense, low, low quality competition. The low barrier to entry and roofing means that professional established businesses are constantly competing with. It looks like this is just not finished. I don't know what happened.
Anyway, we're gonna keep going back to this. That was pretty underwhelming.
So we looked up new roof. I might do this like specifically in the US.
New roof.
And you guys can see like this is kind of tedious. It's not just like an immediate thing that I'm just going to see all the info that I need.
Let me actually add something to the AI. I want you to find the marketing angles and offers that are Currently working for roofers at a high.
Level and are, are generating quality leads that they can convert 40%, which I got that number from the competitor we saw.
So I might also just look up new roof.
I want to buy a new roof.
Stronger shingle, better roof. So a big thing that people are kind of pitching is like the durability.
That might be another angle because obviously they're, they're talking about it. They're talking about stronger shingles for a reason. That one lady said in her ad that she was tired of her shingles coming off or whatever, which, like, I don't own a home, so I'm not like a big shingle guy.
Right?
Like, I don't know anything about that yet, but if I'm looking this up, it's like, okay, cool. Like, maybe people are having to buy roofs multiple times. Maybe there's something they're complaining about. Maybe that's a problem. Let me, let me figure out and look more into that too.
Yeah, 100%.
Could be another angle. Like buy it nice or buy it twice. Stop buying roofs that shingles come off and within six months we have a guarantee or something.
But I want to figure out like, okay, what do you wish you had known when you replaced the roof?
Ooh, that's fire.
Right? So I'm kind of like, I'm doing the average. I'm doing the market research on both ends.
Live in San Francisco. Okay.
What about this? What are the best states.
For roofing contractors?
Top markets for US roofing contractors.
The idea of location and location. Location holds your further industries as well. Okay. Location matters for a roofing business. Okay. Bird's eye view of the US in high growth areas. Professional roofers recognize how climate differences affect real estate. Back the title of the roof market impacts commercial and residential developments, moves and supply businesses. Okay. Best markets, San Antonio, highest growth city. So another reason people would buy roofs is they're building a new home. Right? So if I, let's, here's an idea. What if I help the roofers.
Get deals with.
Developers to build the roof for an entire new development. What if I got them those type of leads? That might be a higher value service than just, you know, oh my God, go knock doors because it rained a little hard last Friday and try to, you know, scam an insurance company to get somebody a new roof.
I might be running ads on meta or LinkedIn towards contractors or developers of like, hey, you know, we're one of the best up and coming roofing companies in this area.
Let's set up A partnership. And we could help you. Just an idea. Right. That I'm kind of throwing out there. But I'm going to jot that down.
Run ads to developers to get bigger roofing contracts to do deals for entire neighborhoods. Right.
Okay. So San Antonio, highest growth city.
Warmer climate. Okay. Yeah, cool.
Louisiana is still experiencing growth. So these are talking about growth, right?
Iowa, fourth fastest growing city in the U.S.
Okay, so these are all talking about like where, what places are growing, which is interesting.
There's definitely interesting. Okay.
Best state is Colorado. Why.
The hail? Dude telling you it's the freaking hail.
You go drive through Colorado and you'll see like hail damage. I mean, it's like literally it looks like somebody took a 50 caliber machine gun to someone's car. Like, if you don't have your car in a garage, you're cooked. Your roof cooked. So you had like, it's. It's crazy. That's why I brought it up.
I'm in commercial roofing. Florida, the state is saturated with tons of competition. Best Florida, you don't need to sell roofs here. You just sue insurance companies using Miami based plaintiff attorneys. They'll take care regardless of merit. Wow. Okay, cool. Well, that's interesting. That's good to know, right? It's good to know.
Not exactly, you know, maybe, maybe like, yeah.
Maybe a little. A little shady, but whatever. Right? Like, here's what it is.
Good info though. Either way, definitely good info.
Best state.
Is Florida. So I'm kind of seeing like. Cool. So like there's some people that are like, they're like the roofers that.
Best state for roofing is Florida. There's some states that are like.
All right, cool. We're doing roofing based off of like new development. And there's other states that are like, we're doing roofing based off of like hail damage. Right. Best Alaska. Worst my state. Why is Alaska the best? No answer. He's probably trying to throw people off. Florida, worse by far. Bunch of whiny when things don't go their way. And crooked attorney. SUNY for one shingle. Cool. In Utah, we have hot hots and cold colds. I hate it here. Oregon is my favorite place to roof.
Best state is Colorado. If you're good at what you can do, you can live off of working half the year probably because of storms. Ooh, that's.
I would put that down. Nobody that I know ever wants to work every single day, 52 weeks a year. If we have.
If we know that to be true. Maybe.
But it's still Good info because it might be speaking to some of their desires. And it's also like, it speaks to the opportunity that you could, you can, you know, this is what people are saying on the Internet. You can literally work half the year if you're getting these types of. You know what I mean? Like, so we could play into that.
Okay, let's see what else?
Okay.
Let'S see. This would be a good channel. Roofing inside. 146, 000 subscribers. Money. Absolute money.
Right.
I might even give this to.
Some comments in the chat too. Like why? Like, because I know unless you're following along step by step with what Tim is doing for the niche that you're going after. Like, this is, this is the type of stuff that you need to learn how to do and you want to ask questions on so that you're not like dead in the water when you try to go do your own market research. Because Tim's definitely going through a lot here at once and this is not. This is a very dense training for sure. Yeah.
It's really like, guys, I'm telling you, the research that you do and this is not like a thing you do one time. I'm gonna paste the transcript in here.
The nice thing about Manus is as it's working, you can like give it info to check out.
But like, I'm gonna continue to like, like I would subscribe to this channel and like probably watch every video they put out. And if you don't want to do that, cool. But you're probably not gonna win, right?
I just want to understand the industry as much as possible. Right.
If I'm in roofing, if I'm in a different industry, I'm going to understand everything about that industry. That's just the way that I operate and that's the way I'd recommend you to operate as well.
This is like pretty.
Pretty torn. Like there's not a consensus.
Okay. Best states for roofing contractors focusing on storm damage are those with severe frequent weather. An older housing stock like Texas, Colorado, Missouri and parts of the Midwest, alongside high growth areas.
Like Florida, Ohio, Michigan, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Right. So I want to kind of like understand what are like most of the roofers doing. From what I've seen, I know the hail damage, the storm damage is a big thing, but there's obviously people that are making money in the.
In the roofing industry that are just selling new roofs. Right. So like, I'm just trying to figure out. And again, we're on a, you know, we're on a YouTube live here. I would literally spend like the next five, six hours doing this if this was my niche to just understand what's going on, who makes the most money, who are the best customers. I'd probably go back here and I'm going to look at these guys testimonials and I'm gonna see what do these guys do? Are these storm chasers, as they call them, Roofing pros usa.
Are these guys storm chasers or are they like new home development guy? Right. They're in Florida. Probably storm chasing more than likely. Especially if they're door knocking. They usually be storm chasing.
Because the thing is, if they do the storm chasing thing, the roof is basically free. There you go. Boom. Yeah, I already know what they're doing. So storm chasing one, what does this guy do? I mean, you guys have been absolutely crushing it with us.
7 closes so far on this package.
The, the revenue for those closes totaled about 160 grand. Is that accurate? Those numbers are accurate.
We have jobs that we have something.
Coastal roofing is what it says.
Can you read that, Helen, or no?
Hold on. Just keep it still for two seconds.
I think it just says coastal roofing.
There's a word above it, but the glare from his lights.
It's a house. It's a house. It's like the roof then.
Yeah, I think it's just coastal roofing roofing.
See if we can find them.
Boom. Easy. Like you guys see how easy this is? It just takes like a little bit of like search.
So these guys are in Texas. That was one of those storm chasing states.
Northern Houston, big storm state.
Let's see.
After storm damage. Okay, I'm starting to notice a pattern here. Right.
See, Sky's just wearing a car heart hat. So I might not be able to find out too much from this dude.
But like it's also going to be, keep in mind it's going to be easier to sell somebody a roof if they just had a hurricane or a hail storm that just completely totaled their roof and they've got like serious problems versus like if you're just going to, I don't know, maybe like some very moderate, moderate temperate climate area that doesn't really have a ton of roof issues except for like maybe once every 10, 20 years. So if you're looking at, you know, like most roofers are probably not going to be like crazy skilled salespeople because they build roofs and that's what they're good at. So they have a different skill set. As you're thinking through like, you're probably going to have a lot more urgency from the buyers, and it's going to require less skill to be able to sell someone who just had a hurricane to blow their. Blow their roof up versus the person who just hasn't had a roof replacement in 10 years type of thing.
Most definitely. Here's. Here's this video might be super valuable. So let's see. So far, so good, man.
We did get one sale from a.
Lead you guys brought us, which was cool.
So.
Oh, nice. That was nice. Nice.
What was the one that you guys got the. Got the new clothes on?
Sonia Duncan.
Oh, yeah, close that one for 33. Awesome. Tell me about that appointment there.
All right, pause. Let's look at the spreadsheet.
Insurance. So they're doing the insurance thing.
Shingles, flat Shingle. Shingle. Shingle. Shingle. Shingle. Shingle Shingles. Dispo. Dispo. Okay, they're doing the storm chasing. That's established. We're gonna look up this guy's name. Armand Baba. All right, cool.
Not even gonna try.
Oh, bro, that's basic. Baba. Canadian.
Come on, dude, that wasn't even it.
Oh, yeah, you misspelled it.
Babajian, owner at Saddle River Roofing, which is based in New Jersey. Financing available. Family owned and operated.
Probably also doing the storm thing.
Right.
So we kind of get the picture. Right? Like, it's pretty clear what the move is.
We want to do the storm thing, so we need to figure out roof pleasant roof errors. Cool. How do we find people after a storm? And how do we find people with storm damage? Well, what if we went to the ads library and instead of looking up new roof, we looked up storm damage.
Oh, my God. You've got to be kidding me.
You seeing this one? There's a. There is an epidemic on Facebook, my brother.
Yeah, there is. Might be that. That might be the niche that you guys should. Should go explore and see if maybe there's something you can sell there.
Little.
Little AI.
Little AI avatar action that you could probably sell. Talk about a solution, huh?
Okay, well, anyway, I would go through and I would kind of see like, okay, what. What is it? What would there be advantage? Flood. Don't risk it was how many are insurance? It did not cover my damage. Okay. Oh, my God. Gotta scroll through like miles of this stuff, dude. It's cheap. Dude, what is going on?
Okay, I'm done with ads library. This is too much.
So why do I do all that research? Right? The reason why and what this is going to come back to is I want to understand.
What type of ads are people running to get those quality leads. All right, so for time's sake, I really wanted to show you guys the research process. Maybe next week we'll go into like, how we actually make an ad. But I want to leave you guys with this because I do have work to do. But here's what I would do with this info. I now know with like 70% certainty that the area to go after for roofing would be storm damage. What I also know is that.
I would want to target local areas. So let's just say, like, you know, things to consider.
When marketing.
To roofers or marketing roofs, right? One, I'm probably going to want to sell roofing appointments because that's what the best people are doing. I might start with a retainer and then transition there once I know my costs.
But let's just, let's just say this, right? So when marketing roofs, I'm going to need to target a specific state or city, right? This is going to be local advertising, right?
I'm probably going to be either doing Google search ads, which is called LSA or meta.
But meta again, in a local area.
Right? So in my ad I would probably say something like, let's say, for example, I was working doing roofs and floral. I might say.
Orlando homeowners.
For example. And then what I would do is I would like focus on education.
This is what I found, generates higher quality leads and creates more trust. So if in my ads I'm focusing on education, what you guys saw, these guys who are running a bunch of ads, Gator roof. Go back and look at their ads. It's like all education and testimonials.
Gator metal roof, right?
So I mean, like, you don't have to do metal roofs, but like you can see like these are, these are good ads. These are examples of good ads.
I might figure out. This is where I would go back to, like, what do you wish you knew when you replaced your roof?
And I'm going to want to figure out what are the consumers questions that they're asking. What are the things that they're uncertain about? What are the things that they would want to know, right? Like focus on education. So it might be like storm dam, you know, Orlando homeowners. This is just going to be kind of me doming it. And then next week we'll go through and like fully, like create some ads. Orlando homeowners.
Hurricane. Well, why don't we do Tampa homeowners, right? Because I know they just got hit with a Hurricane.
What was the big hurricane.
Recently?
Hurricane Milton. Right? So, okay, well, why don't we just say, like, what was the big hurricane of 2025?
Hurricane Aaron, Hurricane Melissa. Doesn't really look like we got hit with like a crazy big one this year, which is good. I mean, that's good, right? Not good for the roofers, but good for humanity. So we'll just, for this example, we'll do like Hurricane Milton. Hurricane Milton.
Caused.
Millions of dollars of damages.
To roofs in whatever the county is called.
You may qualify to replace your roof.
To have.
Your insurance company pay to replace your roof with little to no out of pocket costs.
Right? So this is kind of like the angle that I would be going after, right? And I might show an image.
Of a roof in Tampa, right? Like, I might look up like.
Roof with storm damage.
Like this, right? Because this is like something like you might not even notice this. There's no way you would notice this unless you got up on your roof, you would notice this, right? Like, if this happened to your roof, you would know. If you didn't know.
Wow.
But like this you might not know.
Right? So you could go and say, even if.
Your roof, even if you just have something that looks like this, you might qualify for a complete roof replacement.
Right?
Even something like this, you might qualify for a roof replacement. Even something like this, you might qualify for a roof replacement if it was from the store. Hail damage, same thing from in Colorado, right?
You had hail damage on your roof, you might qualify for a roof replacement. Ooh.
You know what I just thought of it was be a crazy angle too.
What?
Because a lot of these roofs that you just showed were like, not. They were not like nuts, basically. They were not like crazy, crazy situations, right? Like, that doesn't look like that crazy, but maybe it does qualify.
Who knows?
But if I'm a roofer, another market that I would want to go after would be homeowners looking to sell their house.
And how getting a brand new roof that your insurance company pays for can be one of the most lucrative things to do to improve your home's value and get the most bang for buck on it, even if you only have damage like this, this, or this. And then if you have examples of people who were able to increase their home value, you can be like, these are people that literally look at their roof. Here's what it looked like, blah, blah, blah. And I'm sure your roofer clients would have some pictures or something of like a roof that was like, maybe not super, super damaged, but it did increase the person's home value by like 10, 20 grand, which isn't a ton 100, but in the grand scheme, like in the grand scheme of things, but 10, 20 grand of free money. Like, I mean, who's not going to take that?
Well, what you could also do is you could do like after a storm you could go like, hey, if you have.
Even like damage as light as this, you could potentially qualify to have your roof replaced by the insurance company. We're doing free in roof inspections in Tampa for the next 14 days. So if you're seeing this, all you need to do is click the link down below and schedule a free inspection. Like I would probably be trying to sell the inspection.
Right? Because that's really, that's more than likely what the roof appointment is going to be. You're going to be selling the inspection. So what you would want to do is like focus on the education. Like, hey, people in this area, I've gotten the roofs completely replaced just from having simple damage. If you have damage that even just looks like this, this, this or this, you may qualify for a brand new roof completely paid for by the insurance company. Get a free inspection simply by clicking the link down below and scheduling an in person appointment. Someone will come out, go up on your roof and look at it for you for free and fight for you against the insurance company to try to win you a claim.
And so like I found all of that out because of this research that we just did. And yes, this is like 10% of what it looks like to like, okay, what do we, how do we actually create the ads? You know, and this is what we did in an hour and a half and the AI is still going. Granted it was pretty horrible the first time we did it, but usually it'll give you a more in depth report. It looks like it's doing a lot right now. So.
Here we go.
This is going to be pretty valuable. So I might actually, I want to wait until this is done to show you guys before we, we call it off, but I want to go back to some questions now. We're going to wait for that AI to complete, but it seems like we had some questions in here as well. So I'm going to go through this.
Okay. Is there so much SEO offers because people just don't know about meta ads or why is that? It's probably just like a very strong thing for that niche because it's organic based. So people are probably going to be searching like new roof in Scottsdale, new roof in Colorado, New roof in Florida. So it's going to be more intent based oftentimes. But with the storm chasing thing, it kind of like you still get both ends because you could see that in your local area. Like, hey, for example, let's say Julian lives in Colorado, hey, there was just a big hailstorm. We all saw the big hailstorm, we all get hit with hail. Or the hailstorm even could have been six months ago. But if you have hail damage on your roof, you could be subject to a leak and your family could be like not protected.
And all you need to do is get a free inspection, you might be able to replace your roof entirely. So that's like I'm, I'm. There's intent based marketing, there's disruption based marketing.
Disruption based marketing is usually meta. Intent based marketing is usually going to be Google or SEO. So most people are doing the intent based but with the storm you can still do disruption. Does that make sense? So there's still definitely people that are running ads on meta, but it also seems like a bigger SEO offer simultaneously because it's a local market thing. If you have questions about that, let me know.
Okay. What do you think about selling lead packs? I think if that's what the market wants to buy and you can generate them at a cost lower than what they want to pay consistently and you know you can do that at scale, I think it's great. But I think that for a beginner selling packs of leads can get pretty sketchy if you don't know your cost because you can actually lose money. So I don't really recommend that for beginners selling leads like pay per lead or pay per appointment or whatever. Maybe my opinion on that will change in the future, but for now I think it's a high risk model for a beginner because you can literally pay to work with a retainer, harder to sell. But if you get the retainer, you're not paying to work, you know and like as you improve your skill set. Yes, paperly can make sense because usually the bigger dogs want to do pay per lead as opposed to a retainer.
After you get the client, would you test with their budget?
Yes, I would always try to learn on their dollar in the beginning because they have more dollars than you and if you learn on your dollar you can literally lose money.
So until you have experience, I would be learning on their dollar.
But local ads, I found strong results with county instead of city. I don't think setting up LSA for people is really a service is going to let them pay Yelp for leads? Maybe, maybe not. You might be surprised.
I don't have any experience with that, but I'm sure there's agencies that do. Because you also got to realize these roofers are not tech savvy. So if you generate them the leads, but then you also have an AI system on the back end that maybe calls and qualifies the leads and texts them and follows up with them and gets in to book the appointments.
That's a service, right? Like running better ads? Is that really that hard? You just. It's. The real magic is in making the ad and finding the angles. But once you do that, that's like most of it. But if you were able to help them create the offer and then generate the leads and generate the appointments with lsa.
So could be a service. I don't know. Maybe not. But I think it could be cool. Any other questions or Juliana, anything to add to that?
No, sir. All right, cool. Let's look at what AI has to say.
All right, let's pull this up. Cool. By the way, I'll drop all these docs. If any of you guys are doing roofing, feel free to use this doc I put together. It'll be inside of our free school group. Blueprint for 40 conversion and in depth analysis of high performance. Executive summary. Roofing industry is characterized by high sales, intense competition, particularly after weather events. So we're onto something there. Our research indicates that the roofers are not suffering from a lack of leads, but from a lack of high quality pre qualified leads and operational capacity to respond to them within minutes. That's where the AI systems come into place. Most successful marketing campaigns achieve conversion rates between 18 and 45 by focusing on specific high intent offers in leveraging a multifaceted center, blah blah blah. Key findings reveal that the highest conversion rates are achieved through storm response marketing which can yield a 40 to 45 lead to job conversion rate. That's money. So that's what we needed. Other highly effective strategies include finite chances, overcome pricing objections, atmospheric conversion, writing free value driven tools like cost calculators, and having social proof through high volume positive reviews. Critical benchmark is 5 minute speed delete. So I could potentially run an ad, see if there's demand there. Like if you're not responding to your leads within five minutes, you're losing X amount of dollars. We created an AI based lead response system that converts leads into book deployments and responds to all of your leads within 5 minutes.
High converting offers hail damage inspection 40 to 45 lead job free roof inspection 24.4% lead magnet. General homeowners. So these are like the things. This is like the high converting offers the way to do roofing, right? And Manus did all this research for me.
The storm response offer, 40 to 5, 45 conversion. The most potent offer is a free hail damage inspection. So I might just go here and look up free hail damage inspection.
Hail damage.
Okay, that doesn't make any sense.
There's no ads in the entire U.S. i don't. I have a hard time believing that. Oh, it's because I spelled damage wrong, bruh.
Okay, so here we go. Now, like you see, like I'm. I'm kind of like getting closer to the money.
Still driving around with hail damage.
That's like a car. This is roofing. This is a terrible ad.
But now I'm seeing.
Bro.
They got literally every keyword.
Texas storms don't mess around. Wind, hail and heavy rain can damage your roof long before you ever see it. So here we go. Copy the ad.
And we're going to add it to this.
So we're kind of realizing like the hail damage thing is the move. This is the money. Right? And every single niche has something that is the money. You just gotta find what that is. And for us, took us about an hour and 40 minutes. And now I know exactly what I need to look at. All right. I need to figure out how do I combine. Maybe, maybe it's combining the hail damage and the financing. That's a good offer. That's good. Right? So I'm going to add these all on here. And again, for sake of time, I'm not going to go through all this. But like now we've started to find.
If I wanted to go through, I would be looking at hail damage. That's the keyword I need to look for here. Yeah, see, see all this is here.
So let's go back and see financing offer high converting marketing angles is the urgency and storm response. Affordability and financing. Social proof and trust and local expertise. So this basically tells me exactly what I would need to do.
And then it also has high converting marketing angles.
And it even wrote some of these ads for me.
Case study, 0 to 2.2 million revenue in 18 months. A roofing startup. So I can kind of study and see what are the successful people doing. I would go through and read all this and I'll. What I'll do is I'll put together inside of the free school. I'll get all of these docs and there'll just be resources below. So if you guys like want to see what this actually looks like and get access to this doc, just go to school.com/AI agency mastery. I'll drop the link down below for you guys and you can get access to all the docs and everything from any of these lives or any of the YouTube videos that I do. So post on the comments below. If you haven't already joined, you definitely should. And yeah, I mean that's pretty much what you do. Next week we'll go through and we'll look at like actually making some of these ads. But I wanted to just give you guys like a super in depth.
Analysis of how I go about doing this.
So hopefully this was helpful. Any questions?
If so, drop them in the chat or hold on. You got anything to add?
No, not on my end.
Baller.
Say.
Awesome. Cool. So I don't see any questions. We're gonna wrap up. Shout out to you guys for showing up on a Saturday. Job's not finished though. Don't just watch this. Go out and actually do this for the next few hours for your niche. Otherwise you just wasted your time and that's the fact of the matter. So go out, execute. I'm going to give you guys the examples. They'll be uploaded into school in like just a minute and then you guys can go out, do this on your own. And then I want to hear and see what you guys get and what like information you gather over the next few hours. So I see there's eight people live watching. I should see a minimum of eight analysises or analysis. I don't know what the plural of analysis is, but analysis, yeah, eight of that in the school group or you're soft and that's just the fact of the matter. So by the end of the day, let's see at minimum eight of these posted inside of this community. What is the money for your niche and what are you going to do? And I'll help you. I mean I'll, I'll, you know, drop some insight in terms of what I think based off of what you say. I'll say, hey, this is dog. You should redo this. I don't think that that's a good offer. I don't think that's how you're going to get the right leads to sell to these people. Or I'll be like, this is good, keep going, keep doing it. And I think you found the money. So eight by end of day. Otherwise I'm gonna be, I'm gonna be, I'm gonna be pretty.
I'm not gonna be mad, but I'll be a little disappointed. All right, cool. All right, guys, take care. See you guys next week. And join the group. Ask any questions you have, and we're happy to be there to help and support you.
