Pay very close attention, because I'm about to show you a live sales recording of my business partner closing a $1,500 life insurance policy. Now, to give you some context, this lady already has insurance. But luckily, because we work with a bunch of the different top carriers, we're gonna be able to shop the market and find her a lower price. Now, what you'll realize when you start selling insurance is that a lot of people you talk to already have coverage, which is why it's super important to be a broker. If you represent all the top companies like we do, you're gonna be able to oftentimes find them a lower rate or be able to get them more coverage for the same price, which is exactly what you're about to see fully on do next. Ch.
You know what a broker is? Yeah.
So the county. Yeah.
Okay. Well, basically what that means is, like, you know what like a State Farm is, right? Like Jake from State Farm. So that. That guy Jake, he's got the khakis. But I tell you what, I've got the options because he's only able to work with one company, and I work with everybody. That's kind of like the biggest difference is, like, I'm basically the opposite of a Jake from State Farm. Does that make sense?
Yeah.
Okay. Reason I say that is because I'm looking at what you got currently, and I'm not really sure. I'd have to learn a little bit more about what you're doing, but I could get you approved for something that would more than likely be a lot less expensive, and it would also be effective as soon as you make your first payment instead of having to wait. You said you didn't get it through the mail, though, right? No.
So what is that you talk about?
Well, what I'm looking at is there's a few options out there. Obviously, you do have to apply for it. But what I'm seeing is that there's a company called that might get you approved for the day one, and there's another company that might also get you approved for the day one as well. They're about the same. Just a few cents apart. Is there? And you're sure there's not anything else that we're missing here?
No, other than that.
Awesome. And so do you know who you ended up going with? Like, which company you have currently?
I think what happened is. Did they say they were an agent? Yeah, that's what happened. I see this all the time. You remember how we talked about the Jake from State Farm a second ago? So basically whenever you get somebody who works at a, like a.
Going to get you the best product with the company that they work for, because that's their job. Right. My job is to get you the best product that you can get anywhere in the country. And it's just a difference between like where we work. But how much are you paying for that? 25,000. Probably like 150amonth or something.
Okay. Because the policy that I'm looking at here could save you about 10 bucks a month, which is basically an extra premium a year. And on top of that, it would get you the same amount of coverage, but it would be effective from day one. That would be through a company called. Well, have you ever heard of them before? You have?
Oh, okay, perfect. Yeah, they're one of my favorite freaking company. Alright.
Now this next part is literally the most important part of the entire process. We're going to find out what the client's why is.
Right.
If they don't know why they're getting insurance, then they're literally just paying a company money every single month for no reason, which everybody already does with their car insurance. Their why is going to be made up of three different parts. One is who, who is going to be the beneficiary, who they're actually trying to protect. Next is what. What they're protecting the beneficiary from. So usually this is going to be like a funeral bill if you're selling final expense. And the last part is how that's painting the actual picture of what it looks like when they're going to pass away. And so when you get who, what and how mixed all together, you get the why. And so watch how Julian finds out what her why is. And watch as we break it into the three different parts. You can do this yourself on your next sale.
So your biggest goal is basically just to make sure that you can leave some coverage behind for him if you were to pass away then, right?
Yes.
Okay. And what was his name?
His name is.
Okay, that sounds like the title to a movie. Are you looking to leave money behind or are you just trying to make sure the burial is covered?
Make sure the barrier is covered. If I'm left behind, that's fine. It's mine.
Okay.
My kids.
Oh, gotcha. So are you, I guess you're. You're probably trying to leave something behind to him and then if, if he passes away first, you would want it to go to them then, right?
Right.
Okay. And how many, how many kids do you have?
Okay.
42.
Okay, here's what I'm gonna do, miss, I'm gonna look at this application here. I'm gonna ask you a few questions. And just the same way that you had to go through the process with them and do all of the information over the phone and everything with the, the health questions, I do have to ask you a couple questions. But if we are able to get you approved, we're going to be able to save you $120 a year and we're going to be able to get you approved for day one. So as soon as you make that first payment, you're going to be in full effect and covered instead of having to wait.
Okay, so now we've just covered what her why is you saw who, what and how. We also covered why we're even looking at switching the coverage in the first place. She's going to save $120 every single year for the rest of her life in retirement. And also instead of having to wait two years for the insurance to kick in, it's going to start the first day she pays the premium. This is literally like a no brainer offer. And these policies are everywhere for you to find. Now watch how Julian seals this deal and turns it into a policy.
Now just, just to make sure, because the biggest thing is making sure that this will be comfortable for your budget. That 126.59amonth, is that going to work for your budget at 25,000?
Is that what it is?
It's $10 cheaper a month. It's 126.59.
Yeah, perfect.
So the last thing I need to get to make sure that this is going to pay out to the right is the account number. And I'm ready for that whenever you are.
All right, now, if you've ever heard the objection, let me think about it on a sales call. Then you need to watch this video right here where you can watch a live sales recording where Julian overcomes that objection and teaches you a way to overcome. Let me think about it without being weird, awkward, or pushy. So click that video right there. Watch that video and we'll see you in the next one.
