Here's how to sell life insurance as a beginner. Number one More leads equals more sales. If you have more opportunities to get in front of people, even if you suck, you're going to fall into lay down opportunities. Number two, outwork your ignorance. If you are new to this business, the chances are you suck. I did when I started. That's okay. I was working six, seven days a week from sun up to sundown and I'm not saying you have to go that hard, but I was working 5 and 6 year old leads. If you're making anything less than 2 or 300 dials when you're first getting started in this, then you need to pump it up. Now remember, this is not forever. This is just while you're cutting that learning and ultimately it's going to set the pace and the tone for your entire career. Number three, Shiny objects will kill your business. You don't need to learn how to sell other types of insurance. You don't need to jump from IMO to imo. You don't need to learn how to market and try to use social media. You don't need to be trying to create content, recruit, train and manage a team all simultaneously while learning how to still sell what you are focused on primarily, which is your primary product.
