If you've ever had your policy replaced by another insurance agent, what I'm about to show you is going to change your life. This is how you build a moat around your policies. So imagine your clients are in a castle in the middle. You have a moat around it with crocodiles inside of it. And if any other agent tries to get in the castle and replace your policy, what happens? Be eaten by crops. Let's talk about building a moat. The first one is put every single client you sign up on the do not call list. Next thing is business cards. They should never have a question of how to contact you or how to get next thing. Make sure that they know that if they have any questions to call you. Last thing is so seeds of mistrust about other agents. Tell them that there's a bunch of scammers, replace your policy for a commission or steal your info or whatever. Kind of like make them scared. Because at the end of the day, it is actually pretty scary out there. There's a lot of sketchy agents. There's a lot of sketchy people that don't necessarily want the best for them. If you can sow seeds of mistrust and tell them, if anyone else tries to talk to you about this, what do you do? Call me.
