Life insurance sales and lead generation is now on easy mode for insurance agents selling over the phone. And in this video, I'm going to be breaking down the top three methods that we are personally using and our clients are using to generate high intent qualified leads. They do their book appointments on your calendar or inbound call you so you don't have to make thousands and thousands of outbound dials just to make a couple of sales. So without any further ado, I'm going to break this down for you and show you the top three ways to generate leads. Now, before we jump in, my name is Tim Shooker. I run a company called Advanced Agent Marketing where we help about 100 insurance agents and insurance agencies generate high intent, highly qualified leads for their business so they can make more money working less hours. So let me break down these methods for you. All right, guys, so I'm pulling the curtain back. I'm going to show you three of our proprietary lead generation methods and, and which scenarios you would want to use these in as a life insurance agent. Each of them have their place, each of them have different pros, and each of them have a different cons. And I'm going to walk you through each of those so that you can see what's going to be the best for you and how you can ultimately make the most money in your business without killing yourself and working, you know, hundreds of hours a week. So, legion strategies. First, I'm going to talk about the Sniper method versus the Uzi method. I'm also going to show you guys a new one that we just recently discovered called the Hotline method. Now you may be wondering, why do they have those names? It all makes sense in just a moment. Right? So let's talk about the Uzi method first. So this is generally like the most common method for lead generation. It's also a method that's very, very good for beginner agents or just people who, who prefer to have a high volume of leads. So essentially what this does is it uses something called an instant form, which is a form that is hosted on Facebook. Now, some people hate on the instant forum, I think it's just because they don't really know how it works or they're not knowledgeable. But the instant form is a form that's hosted directly on Facebook. So it allows you to get a very high volume of leads for a low cost. Right now, if you structure the instant form poorly or you structure it the wrong way, you can get low quality leads. But a lot of that really comes down to the type of ad that you're running, right? I talk about that a lot on this channel, but basically a lot of lead vendors out there, they'll run these ads that are very bait and switch and then they just get people's information directly on an instant form, sell it to you at a markup, and then people think the Facebook leads suck. But in all reality, Facebook is just a channel and it has a billion monthly active users on it. So it's not like Facebook leads suck, it's just your marketer or your lead vendor sucks. Okay. Or maybe you suck as a salesperson. And that's an entirely different conversation. You got to be able to burn the candle from both ends. So Uzi method instant form. So how does it work? Again, we're using a Facebook a form that's directly embedded on Facebook. I'll show you guys what this looks like. Okay, so here's just kind of an example of an instant form. See, if you qualify for an iul, what monthly amount would you be comfortable contributing to your retirement? And you can kind of see like what this looks like here. We ask them a few qualifying questions and they put in their info. We make them to agree to terms of service. We also are then going to connect with them via Facebook messenger, which is really cool. And then at the end you have one more step. Go watch a video or go book a call or go call this number. Right? So there's a lot of different ways that you can do the, the instant form, right? But it's basically, you know, long story short, it's a form hosted on Facebook which allows you to get a high volume of leads for a low cost. Right. Now the way to see success with this particular type of lead gen strategy is from continually calling it and doing outbound, right? Because of the way it's structured. When people go and they fill out the instant form, they then have to click a separate button to go to your page to then book. So success with this is going to come from outbound, dialing the leads, getting them on the phone, setting the appointment. You'll get a, a, you'll still get pre booked appointments and you can still get inbound calls, but it's not going to be as high of a volume as with some of the other methods we're going to talk about. Now the pros of this method is you get a very high volume of leads. So you constantly have new opportunities, you constantly have people to talk to, which is great. Like the worst thing that you can have as an agent is nobody to talk to no leads, very low volume. So this, this completely combats that. You, you have a steady influx of leads. You're constantly having people coming in on a day to day basis and leads come in quicker. So if you're like just trying to launch ads, like whenever we talk to our clients, if they're a newer agent or they don't have a bunch of leads or previous leads that they can work, we always recommend like, hey, start with the Uzi method to get a bunch of volume coming in and then you can look at some of the other methods later on. It's also again, lower cost per lead for final expense. We see an average of like under 10 bucks for these. For IUL, it's closer to like 15. Um, but you know, there's instances. I have a client right now who's getting like $4 instant form leads, which is amazing, right? And he's crushing it. Uh, the cons is there's a little bit more outbound dialing that's required just by the nature of the way that the Legion strategy works. And because you have so many leads, you need to have a efficient way to prioritize and follow up with all those leads, which we have a whole CRM that kind of like does that for our clients. So if you want to learn more about that, link down below in the description. But that's a, that's a huge, a huge piece of it is, you know, having having follow up and having systems to manage your leads. Cons, you can get more disconnected numbers because with the instant form, there's a lot of pre filled phone numbers. So especially with final expense, people will like change their number a lot. And so if they have an old number on Facebook, you can get wrong numbers. So people, people do complain about that sometimes with the Uzi method. Now this is best for agents who, you know, like to have high volume of leads. They're willing to put in the effort, make the dials maybe newer to sales and need to need to practice because like If I'm paying $8 a lead versus $20 a lead, each shot doesn't need to count as much, right? Like I can mess up more on the leads if I'm, if I have cheaper leads versus if I'm paying a lot for a few leads, I need to be dialed in on my sales process. I need to be, I need to be solid, right? So I recommend if you have an under $100 a day budget, start with the Uzi method. Okay. If you have over $100, then you can look at some of the other things also, if you have more time than money. So if you're an agent that has like a large budget, maybe you're coming into the business with a bankroll. Look at some of the other methods I'm going to talk about. But if you're like under $100 a day, you have more time than you do money. Start with the Uzi method, get some volume, get some reps, and then you can look at some of these other strategies. So next one is called the sniper method, right? So Uzi method, high volume, tons of bullets coming out, you got a lot of volume. Sniper method, very different. You have less shots, but you have to be more accurate with the shots, right? So how this works, we use a landing page and a survey to basically pre qualify the leads. So instead of sending them to an on Facebook form, we send them off of Facebook to a landing page where we can have a little bit more info, we get a little bit more customization and we can ask more questions. So we can ask them things like how much money do you make, right? Which with certain products that may be important or not, we can ask them how healthy are you can ask them, you know, a lot more information than you can, than you can do on the instant form gives you a lot more customizability as well. And so typically whenever people complete a form on a landing page, they're more likely to remember it because an instant form can be extremely quick to fill out, which means again, high volume of leads. But they're usually not as high intent. Not like they're low intent, they're just not as high intent as if someone goes, fills out a landing page, does a bunch of steps and does all that, right. These people also usually have a very clear understanding of what they signed up for. They went to a separate page. You can have like a video on the page that explains a bunch of different things and then they go and fill out the form. There's a lot more that you can do with this, right? So with, with the landing page, you're going to get more pre booked appointments because basically it goes like this, right? So you have the ad and then you send them to the landing page. And then directly after the landing page, like once they complete it, you can send them straight to a calendar, right? Which means that there's no drop off here. You can get more people going to the calendar and pre booking appointments. So you'll usually see a higher volume of appointments with the sniper method. Okay, now the next thing is all Right. So real quick, I need to interrupt the video because if you're a life insurance agent, chances are you're doing one of three, three things. You're either buying age leads, you're buying leads from your imo, or you're buying leads from a lead vendor. And chances are you are way overpaying for those leads. And not to mention, the leads never even pick up the phone. Well, if that sounds familiar, then give me the next 15 seconds and I'm going to show you something that's going to completely change everything. We just launched insurance agent Freedom School, which is an entire training platform and program that will show you how to fire your lead vendor and and cut your lead cost to 110 of the prices that you're paying right now. This is a program that I used to sell for over $2,000. But right now you can get access for just 99 bucks a month and try for free for seven days. Inside, you'll learn everything that you need to know to fire your lead vendor and cut your lead costs so you can start generating way more profits in your business. Not only that, but whenever you join, I'm also going to give you access to a dialing software that has allowed us to see answer rates as high as 20%. So if you make 100 dials, that means 20 people are answering. So I'm going to include a link down below this video, get access to a free trial. All you need to do is click the link down below and start your free trial to fire your lead vendor, generate more profits, boost your answer rates, and start making more money in your insurance business. Now back to the video. You also usually have more engagement per lead, right? So you can also do things like verifying the phone number with the sniper method so you don't get any disconnected or wrong numbers. That's going to jack up your cost per lead quite a bit. But for certain people, that's worth it. For me personally, like, I usually don't have many issues with disconnected numbers personally, so I don't usually need to do the estimated verification. But if you're having that issue, you can. It's just going to jack up your cost per lead, so that's something to pay attention to. You're going to have a higher conversion rate per lead, right? You're paying more per lead, but you're going to have a higher conversion rate. You're going to have to sift through less in order to find the buyers, but you're paying more per buyer. So that's the sniper method. Cons are optimization can take more time. Whereas, like, the cool thing about the instant form is it's directly on Facebook, so you get a lot of people filling it out quickly. Whereas with this, because it requires more steps, you have to spend more money for Facebook to optimize, to figure out who. Who is going to be the best to go there, right? So you may have a higher cost per lead. Like, you may. You may start the sniper method, and your cost per lead is like 50 or 60 bucks for the first few days. And then after it optimizes, maybe it takes a week, comes down, Maybe you're paying $10 a lead, right? So there's more fluctuation, there's more variety in the costs. So that's one of the cons of the sniper method. You're also going to get lower, lower total lead volume in general, right? I have one client right now who's doing the sniper method. He's getting $4 leads. So, like, obviously that's amazing, but not every single person is going to be like that. Some of them are more expensive. There's, like, a lot more fluctuation because it's not on Facebook, right? So this method is best for people who have experience selling, and you can convert at a high level. So if you're watching this and you're like, hey, look, I don't want to make many dials. Like, I'm okay calling my leads, obviously, but I don't want to make hundreds of dials a day. I would rather focus on just the highest intent people, and I'm willing to pay more for that. Like, I have a bankroll to kind of fund that. In that case, sniper method would make more sense for you. But you have to kind of capitalize on those shots, right? Because you're gonna have less of them. You got to capitalize on each individual shot. If you have over $100 a day budget for leads, this is a good method for you. And if you have more money than you do time, then this is a good method for you, right? A lot of times, like, people come into the business and they'll buy age leads or they'll do, you know, like the. The Uzi method to start off with, you know, kind of rack up a bankroll, and then you can go and do some of these other methods. So again, lower volume lead, higher quality lead, higher conversion rate, takes time to optimize. You got to be patient with Facebook. You got to be patient with your marketer, right? If you work with us, like, if you're doing the sniper method, it's going to take a little while to optimize. Sometimes it'll be right out of the gate. More than, more often than not, it takes a few days or maybe a week. And this results in a higher percentage of pre booked appointments. So one client I have right now, he got 55 leads and 20 of them pre booked an appointment with them, which is obviously amazing, right? So much higher percentage of pre books. Now the last one, this is something that's really cool. I haven't seen anybody else on YouTube or anywhere talk about this. And it's called the hotline method. Okay. So what this does is we don't get any lead information. We just have people directly inbound call our phone number, right? So we run an ad on Facebook. Facebook has a inbound call feature. So we run an ad on Facebook that just literally calls our phone number, right? So we're just getting inbound calls. You don't have to pay someone to call your leads. You don't have to do anything. It's just literally the only way you get a lead is if they call your phone number, right? And I have a client right now who's getting inbound calls, right? Meaning literally people that are calling his number and it only counts it if they're on the line for more than 20 seconds. I have a client who's getting 20 second phone conversations for $9 each, okay? Which is insane. All right? People pay more than $9 each for leads and he's getting inbound calls for $9 a pop right? Now if you want us to set any of these lead gen methods up for you, there's going to be a link down below. It says apply to work with us so you can learn more about what that would look like. We're happy to help and have that conversation with you, but let me kind of explain what the hotline method is first. So basically we use a call campaign to get inbound calls, right? The leads call your phone number directly. We usually will use a CRM number that then transfers it to your cell. So they'll call your CRM. So you have all their data in the CRM and then it rings on your cell phone, right? The, the thing is you don't get any of their lead info because they're just calling you. Like they're not filling anything out. They're literally just calling your number, right? They typically also will have a clear understanding of what they're signing up for because they see the ad, they're like, hey, I want this. Let me Call this person and then they call you, right? The pros of this, it's extremely efficient, obviously, because you're only speaking to people that want to talk with you because they called you, right? There's no dialing required to speak with these people because they're calling you, right? And oftentimes these people know exactly what they want, which can be a pro or a con, right? It's also very cost effective because if you, usually, if you want to get inbound calls, you have to pay like $90 for a live transfer or like a TV call in or those kind of things. With this, it's literally like from Facebook, they call your number, right? So it's way cheaper than live transfers or other inbound call in leads because you're also not paying a lead vendor markup. You would just pay us to run the ads for you. It's pretty cool, right?
The cons, because there's no lead info, you only have their number. So like I'll get a call from someone, I don't even know their name, and it's like, hello, you know, this is senior benefit or whatever this is. You know.
I don't know Jet Financial Group talking about the taxi retirement. How can I help? Right? So you gotta be, you gotta be prepared. You gotta, like, when they call you, you have to do an intake of their information, get their info, and you have to always be prepared, right? Because I've listened to a couple calls of some of my clients that are testing this and they'll be like, hey, like I'm actually at the grocery store right now. Like if you're, if you're not in the office during work hours, do not do the hotline method because your phone is going to be blowing up with people calling you. So you got to be prepared. And if you're an insurance agent and you don't answer the phone and you're not prepared to talk to people, like, you're, you're not a great insurance agent, to be honest with you. But that is one of the cons. So if you, if you aren't able to take inbound calls.
I mean, if, if you're not able to answer the phone when money's calling, this is probably not the best business for you. But especially like, don't do the hotline method if that's you, right? What's crazy is some people complain. Like they're like, oh, nobody's answering the phone or none of the, none of the pre books are showing up or whatever. And then you, you're like, hey, well, I can have leads call you. And they're like, well, I don't want to have people call me when I'm not ready to talk. It's like, okay, you have to live in reality. You can't have. You can't have your cake and eat it too. Like, you either gotta be prepared when people want to talk to you or you got to deal with outbound. Right? So side note, but those are just some of the cons of the hotline method is you got to be prepared to be able to answer the phone. This is best for agents who have experience selling and converted a high level because if someone's calling you, they know what they want. Like you have to be able to convert that. I recommend using this as a supplement with something else. So do the Uzi method or do the Sniper method have leads that you're able to call and then also have people that are inbound calling you. Right. That's extremely valuable because then it's like I have people to call and then if someone calls me immediately I just stop what I'm doing and I take the call. Right. So it's kind of like a supplement to it.
Now with this type of campaign, you need to be around your phone during business hours, otherwise you're going to miss the calls and burn money, which is what I was just talking about. All right, so as you can see, like Legion is frickin changing for life insurance agents. Like when I first got started, I was working free Walmart gift card leads. The stuff that's available to us now is insane. Okay, so how do you know which one of these methods to choose? Again, Sniper method best for you. If you want high quality leads, more appointments and ultimately just like you have more money than time because it's going to be more expensive. Uzi method is if you have more time than money, you need a high volume of leads to call requires a little more outbound. Still going to get some pre books, still going to get some inbound calls, but more outbound required. And then the hotline method is a supplement to the other two. So like run either the Sniper or the Uzi and then have people inbound calling you. That's the best way to do it by far. So if you want to learn more about how our company can do this for you, click the link down below. If you want to see how to set up your own Facebook campaign, check out this video right here.
