The IQ Paradox - Why Dumb People Make More Money Than You

Low-IQ and high-IQ people often make more money than average because they favor simple solutions and act without overthinking. Elon Musk, Bhad Bhabie, and the Paul brothers all share this trait: they skip the hesitation that trips up everyone in the middle.

Now, if I showed you a guy like Elon Musk or Mark Zuckerberg or Jeff Bezos, it's pretty easy to see why these guys are extremely rich and successful, right? They're building companies that are changing the way we live on a day to day. But what if I showed you somebody like Bhad Bhabie? Why is she successful? Is she way smarter than you? Like Elon Musk is. Is she way more intelligent or have a higher IQ than you? Probably not, but she made $50 million in one single year and bought a $6.1 million mansion when she was under 20 years old. Or you could look at the Paul brothers, Jake Paul and Logan Paul, who got started on vine, dancing in their bedroom, and now they're worth $150 million and $80 million individually. Or you could look at somebody else, like Ishowspeed. This is the newer one. This guy, all he does is scream and bark at a camera and livestream himself in his bedroom. And. And this guy is not even old enough to drink, but he's worth $10 million. So what on earth explains this phenomenon? Well, the truth is, it actually all comes down to this meme, which you may have seen on the Internet before, but I guarantee you in this video, I'm going to explain this in a way you've never seen and show you why this meme and this book can change your entire financial situation and make you rich in 2025. Now, in this video, I'm going to show you guys the three things that geniuses and idiots do the same to see massive success and how you can apply it to your own life. But first, I need to explain what this meme is so you guys can have some full context. So on the left here, this is going to be your lower IQ individuals. And this is basically, this is a bell curve of iq. Okay? So on the low end, you have your low IQ individuals. In the middle, you have your average intelligence people, which, presumably, statistically speaking, you're gonna be here because this is 68% of the population. So you're more than likely, you're in, you know, in the middle. And this guy here, you can see he's crying. It's because he's constantly getting fucked over by life. This guy is referred to as midwit. Okay? This is midwit. And then on the right, this is where your geniuses are. Okay? So what I did is I plotted all of these people we were just talking about, who we presumably are saying are low iq, like Ishowspeed Jake Paul and Cashmere Outside Girl. Now, these people, interestingly enough, they actually act very similar to these genius, uber wealthy billionaires here on the right. Now you in the middle. Chances are you don't do these three things, which hopefully after this video you will once you know them. But again, these people on the left act very similarly to these people on the right in three distinct ways, which I'm going to cover here. And we're going to talk about the three reasons that dumb people make more money than you and how thinking like an idiot genius can make you rich. Now, the first thing we're going to go ahead and dive right in is rich people that are dumb and rich people that are smart. They have simple solutions to complex problems. I'll give you a perfect example. So this is just last week. This guy named Elon Musk is running a department of the government called doge, or Department of Government Efficiency. And basically what DOGE is trying to do is eliminate fraud, waste and abuse inside of the U.S. government. And so one of the ways that they're doing that is finding which federal employees are actually productive and which ones are just essentially sucking off of the teat of the US government, right? And so what they did is they came up with this idea to send out an email to every federal employee in the US Government and just ask them, are you productive? Right? They said, summarize what you did this week and give me five bullets of what you accomplished and then just CC your manager on it right now. People went crazy. They got totally up in arms about this, which is pretty concerning because if you can't say five things you did in a week productive, you probably aren't productive. But think about how simple this idea is, right? What most people in this situation would have done is something like this. I actually made this meme to explain this exact situation. They would come up with this whole idea of like, oh, we need to hire this, you know, expensive consultant firm and bring them in to essentially do an audit on every single employee and see who's effective and who's not. And, and you know, this is going to take months or maybe even years to figure out all of this information so that we can make a decision on who we need and who we should cut. That is a very midwit thing to do, right? Over complicating everything. It's got to be complex. It's going to be expensive, it's going to take forever. But if I asked a stupid person, a low IQ individual, how would you see who's productive well, they'd probably come up with a similar answer to send an email and ask them what they did. And as you can see, the genius did the exact same thing. How do we see who's productive? Send them an email and let's see what they did. It's a perfect example of simple solution to complex problems. Let's look at another one. Okay, now this is like coming up with a business.
Dumb people, low iq, individual. How do we make a successful business? Well, let's just make something that people want, right? Midwit, average intelligence, gonna overthink everything. Let's go get an mba, work at a consultant firm for five years, watch every single TED talk in existence, and then all of a sudden I'll come up with this genius business idea that's gonna change the entire world. And then on the right you got, okay, cool, let's just make something people want.
The dumb people and the geniuses come to the same conclusion oftentimes. Let's look at another one. This is about getting in shape, losing weight, being healthy, calories in, calories out. Simple. What makes this diet different after, you know, 12 others that I've tried? Does it leverage superfood, Fat burning optimization? Like six hour podcasts, like, they're way over, complicating everything. And then here on the right, you got calories in, calories out. The genius, they're doing the simplest possible thing. What you have to realize, guys, like, the reason that this works is because the more complex the solution, the harder it is to implement. And implementation is the hard part. When you have a simple solution, you put all of the complexity on implementation. You spend all the time figuring out how you're going to implement it. Instead of trying to come up with this crazy complex solution and then trying to implement the complex solution, sending the email, super easy. And then all you got to do is look through all the emails of who actually is productive. But fire the people that aren't. Very simple. All right, next thing we're going to talk about is taking action without overthinking. Now this is something that most of you watching this are probably, probably guilty of, myself included. So let me show you guys a meme to give an example. Let's say you're trying to figure out what to do, right? Or, you know, whatever the action is. This person on the right is like, cool, let's just do it. Let's just take action. Overthinker, 20 page strategy doc to put everything together before even taking action or figuring out what to do. And then you get Your genius on the right, in more words than necessary, they're just saying take action right now. Why does this actually work? Why does just taking action instead of strategizing and putting all these things together, why does that work? Well, what I can do is kind of draw it out for you guys. So let's say this is person number one right here and they want to get to a goal right now. If they just start taking action and moving towards the goal.
They'Re going to essentially here I'll draw this a different way. This is from a book called Principles by Ray Dalio. So when you start taking action, you're going to have setbacks and failures and then you learn from those setbacks and failures and you iterate and continue. And what basically happens is you face another setback and failure, you iterate and continue another setback and failure, you figure out what the issue was and you continue, right? And the only way to progress and get to your goal is to essentially do this and start it and move fast, fail fast, iterate fast and continue to move, right? So that your low IQ individuals, they're just going to start taking action and they're just going to iterate and fail and fail and eventually they're going to hit their goal. Whereas your average intelligent people who are going to overthink every single thing is they're going to spend all of their time here trying to plan out the path to get there. But in all reality, when you're here, you can't see what the steps are. You can only see the steps. The steps start to reveal themselves as you start walking the path, right? And so that's basically an example or an explanation of why the action taking strategy works. There's another thing that is really valuable to demonstrate this point. It's a book called Ready, Fire, Aim. And basically this is a book that talks about all of the stages of business to get from zero to $100 million per year in revenue. And one of the key concepts of the book, in fact, it's such a key concept, it's literally the title of the book is called Ready, Fire, Aim. And what this means is that you should essentially come up with an idea, take action on it, and then from the feedback of the actions that you took, you then aim and readjust, right? Instead of ready, aim, fire, it's ready, fire, aim. So you take action and then you iterate based off of the feedback that you got. Whereas what most people do is they just ready and then they, they always are aiming and they never actually fire. Because they're scared of taking the action. Whereas successful people and rich people, they just do it and they take action. Now the last thing is no fear of, of risk or judgment, right? Now the lower IQ individuals, they just don't comprehend risk. They don't even, they don't care about it. They don't even know about it. They don't notice it. They just move, right? And they're not worried about being judged by other people because they just, it doesn't even like bother them or affect them. Whereas your successful people, they have, they're able to understand that there is risk, but they act despite the risk, right? And that's how the low IQ individuals and the high IQ individuals, they end up kind of doing the same thing. The low IQ individuals aren't even aware of the risk. And the high IQ of individuals are aware of the risk, but act despite of the risk or the risk of judgment by other people. Whereas your people in the middle, they're going to overthink this and never take action. I'll give you guys a perfect example. This is a famous YouTuber, in fact, the most famous YouTuber. MrBeast. Now, this guy got a brand deal for $10,000. The first thing that he decided to do with that $10,000 was walk up to a random homeless guy and give it away. By all accounts, by all accounts, most people would think of that action as a low IQ action. You get $10,000 and give it away, right? You would say that's probably a dumb move, but if you actually look at it, it's a genius move. Because giving away that $10,000 resulted in more views. And again, hindsight's 2020 looking back, but it ended up being a genius move. He gave away the ten grand, it turned into more views, which then got him more sponsorships. And he's basically just repeated the cycle over and over and over. And now, you know, eight, nine years later, the guy's like, basically a billionaire where somebody in the middle, they get $10,000, they're going to pocket that and like invest it in a Roth IRA or something, right? So the people that aren't afraid of risk and are not afraid of people judging them, right? Like you guys think, catch me outside girl cares about what people think about her. Obviously not, right? She doesn't care about the risk or the judgment from other people. She simply just takes action. Elon Musk, for example, the guy sold PayPal. I think he got $300 million, put 200 million into SpaceX and 100 million into Tesla, it might be flipped, but either way the point stands the same. And basically was set for life. And bet it all on two companies. One that's trying to send rocket ships to space and one that was trying to create electric cars when nobody thought that was possible. If you look at it on the bell curve again, you could argue that is a low IQ movement. But as a high IQ individual, he ended up taking that same action because he just took the risk. He was totally comfortable and okay with it. Here's another example. We'll go back to the Paul brothers, right? Did Jake Paul care what other people thought about him when he went into boxing? Obviously not, right? He got tons of hate, tons of backlash. Everyone thought he was an idiot, but he just did it anyway. No fear of judgment, no fear of risk. Whereas your people in the middle, your midwits, so to speak, they're going to be paralyzed and overcome by fear and, and paralysis analysis, and they're not going to take action. So to sum us up right, simple solutions, simple solutions. Take action above all and don't fear the risk or judgment from others. And basically what this all boils down to, low IQ individuals, they just take action and they keep it simple. High IQ individuals, they just take action and they keep it simple. And these people in the middle that have enough intelligence to realize that there are risks and there are things out there, they spend all their time, paralysis by analysis, overthinking everything. Let me come up with a complex solution. But if you want to be successful, keep it simple and take action. See you guys soon.
