The Most Profitable AI Services to Sell in 2026 (Ranked)

An AI agency owner who scaled to $500,000 per month ranks AI services by profitability for 2026. He separates efficiency services from growth services, then grades each: AI Lead Generation and AI SaaS white-labeling hit S-tier, AI Content Creation lands A-tier, while Customer Service Chatbots and AI Appointment Setters rank C or F. Only productizable, growth-focused services sustain high margins.

There is a massive amount of noise going on in the AI agency space right now. Anytime you open up YouTube or Instagram, there's another guru telling you about this new AI service that'll make you millions of dollars. And in all reality, the opportunity is 100% there. I've scaled my own agency to $500,000 a month. But in all reality, most of the services that these guys are telling you to sell are absolutely terrible and won't make any money. I've sold dozens of these AI services within my own business. And I'm also personally friends in an eight figure AI business owners. So I can tell you with 100% certainty which of these services will make you money and which will not. So we're going to be putting together a tier list of the best AI services to sell in 2026. Let's dive in. All right, so we got our tier list right here. Let's start with the first one, which is a customer service chatbot. So I'm going to put this one in to C tier. All right, so the reason that I'm going to put this into C tier is whenever it comes to selling an AI service, there's two main types of services. You have efficiency services and you have growth services. So efficiency services basically save people money and you're essentially capturing a percentage of the money that you help someone save. Right. You can only save somebody so much money. However, if you're doing something that's growth related, meaning you're helping them make extra money, additional revenue, well, there's no limit to the amount of additional revenue you can add on. So efficiency services are usually a little harder to sell sell because you have to save someone money and you can only charge a percentage of what you save them versus growth services. You're helping them make more and you can charge a percentage of what you help them increase in the revenue. So the thing about a customer service chatbot is like, no business owner is going to be super excited to pay you thousands and thousands of dollars a month for this. It's realistically the type of service where like, as a business owner myself, I would maybe pay a couple hundred bucks a month for this and I would rather just use a software. So if your entire business is setting up customer service chatbots for people, you might be able to charge one time, but you're not going to have a recurring service people pay over and over again at a high ticket. So I put that one in a seat here. The next one is AI video creation. All right, so what this Basically is we're talking about creating videos using AI specifically. It could be ads, could be Instagram content, could be YouTube content, could be YouTube shorts. Basically creating videos using AI. This one, I don't know anyone who's making crazy money just as this as their standalone service. But, but I have seen a few ad agencies that specialize in creating AI videos. The thing about this is it's very easy to pump out AI content, but not many people are specializing in it, right? So for example, if I'm a business and I want to create AI video ad, well, I'm probably going to have to just go do it myself because there's not that many people that are advertising the service of helping you make high converting AI ads. I think this is a good service. I would personally pay for this if somebody was like a specialist in creating VO3 ads and then editing and clipping them up together and making them really attractive, really engaging ads that converted at a high level. It's definitely something that I would pay for. And any business that runs ads, you know, like coaching businesses, consulting businesses, anything like that, would be a potential customer for this service. I've seen other people advertising it. I don't personally know anyone that's making a ton of money with it, but it has the bones of a solid service. Now the next one is probably the most commonly talked about AI service to sell, which is AI automation. You hear about AI automation agency. This is like the main thing that people push on YouTube right now in all reality, I'm not going to put this in F tier. I'm going to put it in C tier with the potential for it to go to F tier. And the reason why I'm really not a fan of this business model at all is you basically just end up becoming a glorified freelancer, right? You end up just getting a job. When I look at getting into a business, I want to look at getting into a business that eventually is not going to need my time. And I can productize the service. So what does that mean? Productizing the service basically means that you can create a system where any time a new customer comes in, the fulfillment for how you deliver that service follows a structured process and it's less like selling a service and more like selling a product. Right? So for example, if I go to a car mechanic, there's only so many things that can be wrong with each individual car, right? They do an oil change. It's the same process every time. Let's say my transmission is broken. Okay, well, the process is is always going to be repeatable. With AI automation, you're basically always creating something custom. It's always custom. There's not that much productization that can come. Sure, you can have certain automations that you build for people over and over and that's cool if you can do. But in all reality, like this is just not a service that's going to last long term because all of these automation tools like Naiden are looking at kind of replacing this where you can basically create your own automation simply from a prompt. The other thing too, you're competing with third world labor. You know, like I have a guy in my own business who does AI automation and we pay him 40 bucks an hour. And he's just as good, if not better than anything that any of you guys could do. And he's $40 an hour. Like you're not going to be able to compete with that. And you have a lot of people from India and Pakistan that can do this service way better than somebody who's trying to learn it from scratch. So I put a automation in C tier. All right, next one, AI lead generation. This one I'm going to put into S tier. And the reason why is this service is very easy to sell. And when you're looking at creating a AI agency, you want to look for something that I call a. Well, it's not just I call it, but it's called a cold friendly offer. What that means is I should be able to sell this service to somebody that is not a referral, not in my warm network. And I could basically run ads or do cold outreach and get somebody that's interested in the service just by the nature of what the service is. People are always looking for more leads and more customers. People are not always looking for a customer service chatbot or a new automation to automate their onboarding process. But everyone always needs more leads and more customers. So with AI lead generation, you can run ads to attract customers for this service and you can bolt on a lot of these other products and services that we have listed here that we'll go over in just a moment. So I'm going to put AI lead generation into S tier. This is the primary service that I sell and in my 500k per month agency. And most of the people that I know that make the most money are doing something like this. Next thing, a sales chat bot. I'm going to put a sales chat bot into C tier. Why do I put it in the seater? Well, one, I don't know too many people that are making a crazy amount of money selling sales chat bots. This is something that, you know, a lot of softwares simply do and it's not like it's not that sticky of a service. Most of the way that people are converting their clients is like they booked them onto an appointment. Yes. They can message them back and forth and make maybe you set up, you know, mini chat automations or something for people which manychat is basically just like a. It's essentially a way to build chatbots but it's not a service that people are actively spending tens of thousands of dollars per month for for someone to build them a sales chatbot. It's just, it's like a one time thing that you set up and then maybe you pay a small maintenance fee. But it's not a super in demand service that people want. It could be a code friendly offer like hey, we're going to install a sales chat bot into your business. But personally I haven't seen a massive amount of success as this is like your, your main offer. And I also don't know a ton of people that are doing it and making a ton of money. Next thing, voice AI rep. So voice AI rep, this is essentially you set up like a, an inbound voice AI for businesses. So people that miss phone calls, the voice AI rep would basically answer the phone calls, you know, set an appointment or something. This service is. Okay, I'm going to put this one into B tier. Reason I put this into beta is, is I do think it is actually a pretty good intro offer. You sell or you give this away for free to get clients for something else. So I might like, you know, maybe I would give someone a free voice AI rep or discounted voice AI rep to then get them onto AI lead generation. That to me could make a lot of sense. But building inbound voice reps is like your main service. Not super in demand from what I've seen. And it's also not super high value of a service that you're going to do. You're not going to be bringing somebody tremendously more revenue. If anything, this is an efficiency game. So it's like you're helping them save on calls that they would otherwise miss as a business. And so you could charge a percentage of the extra calls that they would get or maybe what they would have paid a rep to answer the inbound calls, you might be able to charge them a little bit of the difference of that. So not a terrible service. I'm not going to put it in like c Tier F tier, but it's a B tier for me. All right, next thing, AI SaaS. So essentially what this is is you're using AI and you're building your own software right now, if you're very technical and you have capital to deploy and you have a, a market that you know needs this, then it could certainly be S tier in terms of the amount of money you could make. But I would say for the majority of people out there, this is not a great business to start because it's just there's so much complexity that goes into building a SaaS. If I have no experience with this, to be clear, I white label Go High level and we make $20,000 a month profit from our Go High level white label. So I guess you could argue that's an AI SaaS. But like if you asked me to build a software from scratch, I would just stare at you blankly, right? But there's certainly plenty of money in this if you figure it out. I think that having AI lead generation, some of these other services kind of tacked on and then an AI SaaS by basically white labeling Go High Level. So Go High Level is a software where you can pay a flat fee, so you pay $500 a month and then you can charge your clients whatever you want. So 97 bucks a month, 200 bucks a month. We charge all of our clients 97amonth, so we pay a $500 flat fee. We build all of our AI automations into the Go High Level and then anytime a new client comes on, we just copy and paste that account. So everyone gets the same automations, but they're paying us monthly. So we do like 20 grand a month in profit just from our AI SaaS. But this specifically what most people mean when they say start an AI SaaS is like building something from scratch, which I think is too complex for beginners. But if you do it in the right way or you're super technical, certainly could make tons of money from it. Next thing, AI content creation. This one I'm going to put in a tier I've seen Anyone that you see that's doing like big content agencies, they're using AI to deliver the service. So they're using AI to like write the scripts for organic, make videos. And a lot of times people will use AI to make blog posts or for repurposing. There's some AI video editors now that are coming out. Not as much, but if you could make a content agency where, you know, for example, I pay a lot of money to get these YouTube videos produced. And I paid, you know, I paid a guy like four grand a month to make Instagram videos for me. And I guarantee you he was using AI. So like if you can sell the service of helping people grow organically and then fulfill it using AI as a service, delivery tons of money in that for sure. So I put that one in A tier. This is a super in demand service. Like people really want to create organic content right now and at the end of the day like what you're actually doing is you're helping them generate leads and customers. You're just doing it with organic content versus like paid or something else. Now, last one, AI appointment setter. So what do I mean by this? This is like everyone's favorite thing is the AI appointment setter calls your leads, speaks to them, sets appointments. This one, I'm running a test on this on my own agency so this could totally change. For now, this is going to go into F tier. I have literally never seen this work for anybody other than like one person. I know companies that make a lot of money selling this, but their clients usually hate them. I'm going to put this one in F tier. Why? So the thing about these appointment setters is any time that I get called by an AI, I immediately know it's an AI and then I hang up. Give this a couple years and this could literally, I mean we could be moving this from F tier to, to S tier or if this test goes really well inside of my agency, like I'm launching this as a service we're going to sell to our clients. But for now I think like the cost that people pay to set this up, like there was this company back in the day that would charge you like 40 or 50 grand to use their software so you could sell it to your, your clients. And they got like sued by the FTC because their service was so awful and nobody made any money. The appointment setter thing I think is like the best ever. In practice it's very easy to sell, but when it comes to fulfillment it just is a subpar product. And you don't want to sell subpar products to your clients. You're not, we're all in this to build long term businesses and make real money. There's plenty of money in the air agency. You shouldn't be selling a service that is not that good. Ladies and gentlemen, that is going to wrap up our tier list. Let me know if you agree or disagree in the comments. And if you guys want access to a full multi hour course I'm going to be dropping one that basically shows exactly how we scaled our agency from 0 to 500 grand a month.
