All right, ladies and gents, so I have not filmed a video in a few days. Today is Sunday. The school games just started yesterday. We're not on the leaderboard yet, but we got a little promo cooking with an affiliate tomorrow. Emails are going out tomorrow. We should have sales calls coming up. I'm going to be on sales calls. My business partner is going to be on sales calls. We're anticipating a pretty stacked calendar there. So that's kind of the play. And then I wanted to update you guys. Basically, the problem we were running into is we were getting, like, really unqualified people booking on the calendar. Like, literally one of the people that booked on our calendar was on Social Security, like to buy a program, which is insane.
So we've kind of, like, worked on tweaking the messaging. And this is like the. This is something that I've learned a lot over time is that like Facebook and these marketing channels, like, like, they're so good at giving you what you ask for. They're like, if you up when putting out an ad, the exact language that you put is what you're going to attract. So basically we were saying.
Make six figures without buying leads. And the problem is we're basically teaching people how to generate their own leads. And the problem is we're getting people who just didn't have money to buy leads, which means they wouldn't have money to pay to generate their own leads, which also means it wouldn't have money to pay us. So that was kind of the issue we were running into. And so what I did. This is what I set up yesterday, or. Yeah, yesterday is I set up this little, like, school, free school group essentially that we're running ads to people come join the school group, and we're running ads directly to it.
The costs are not as great as I would like. I just launched them today. It's Sunday, and it's like 17 per school group join, which is pretty miserable. But I'm anticipating we're gonna get a higher quality.
Higher quality customer into the free group here, and then we can obviously optimize it and try to get the cost lower. But basically that's the first day of running that there's like a free. Free mini course inside of it. And so basically the whole goal is like, you know, give some. Give a bunch of free value first and then, you know, have them join our paid thing, which is what time will tell if this school community is able to convert that, which I think it will. It's just a matter of optimizing it and getting it right. So that's pretty much what we did. So we did. You guys may have heard of the guy. His name's Max Person or person. And he basically has this funnel where he does free school community runs ads to that he was getting for like $2 per, but he was running more countries. We're just doing us and $2 per join. And then basically inside of that group he tries to upsell them into his like premium version. And then he also retargets people with the premium version, which I think is a genius idea. We're just going to have to figure this out in a micro scale and then increase the budget. But that's kind of the funnel that I modeled for this. We'll see how it works. But yeah, not loving the cost right now. As you can see they're like four registrations. 16, 17 per. But we'll just have to see how it plays out. It's only Sunday, so yeah, that's pretty much where we're at. Promo coming.
Need a big week here. And then once we figure out how to get qualified people on the calendar, I think it's just a matter of rocking and rolling here and we'll be. We'll be good to go. So that's the update. Episode three, trying to win the school games. Keep you guys posted how it goes this week. I'll be jumping on sales calls, which are always fun and I'll let you guys know how that goes.
