Alright, what's going on? Ladies and gentlemen, we're gonna do a quick call review here on today's morning training. Now I'm gonna play this out here for you guys. Let me know if you have any trouble hearing it. Tim and Cory, I'm gonna start.
Hello?
Hey, just holding on. I've got your request here about the life insurance. How's it going?
I'm not interested actually.
Uh oh. So we just got immediately off the bat. Not interested. Honestly my energy's a little bit low here. It's later in the day, I'm like, hey, is you know, blank there and.
Let'S see what happens next.
Oh, okay. The form that I got filled out here for you, whenever you filled it out, like what was it that you were concerned about?
Who is this?
I stumbled over my word track because again I was tired. I'd already been through. This is my. It was a few hours into my talk time, I was getting a little bit exhausted. I took a break right after this call. But if you can see here, she's not hanging up. So she is quote unquote not interested. But there is some interest.
I was just responding that request you sent us.
I don't remember sending in a request.
Huh. Okay. It looks like whenever you filled it out, you just filled out like a pre approval form and everything. It would have asked you if you were like a smoker and all that stuff for the life insurance bill.
What's the name of your insurance?
I work for a company called Insurance, but we work with big companies like Aetna or Mutual Loma or aig.
Is there whole life insurance?
It depends on what you need, but if that's what you were looking for. We have whole life, term life, pretty much everything. Were you looking for whole life insurance?
Well, I had insurance at my work.
All right, so she said she wasn't interested and I kept asking open ended questions. Do you notice how that started to like feeding it like oh okay, like what was it that you were looking for? Were you looking for whole life? Like what got you looking for that? Right? I'm just trying to get her talking to see like what the level of interest is here because she never hung up. So the game is still on and let's see, do you have any questions for me so far on this, Corey?
Nope, I'm good. Keep it rolling. Let's roll my.
I mean it's fun to you Kyle, because that's like love life. And I know they've been sending me.
Stuff.
But I. Oh, gotcha. That's probably why you filled this one out then, is because we can get people approved no matter what. Is that why you filled it out?
Okay.
I don't know.
Maybe she did it for me.
Yeah, that happens all the time. Let me see. I've got a. The other name that I had on here was for. Is there a chance that.
So it keeps getting beat it out, but she's talking about her daughter, her beneficiary. I used her daughter's name. That comes with, like, the leads that we generate, the branded leads they have to put in their beneficiary. So obviously we're just protecting their private information. But I keep using her daughter's name as a point of interest to keep this conversation flowing.
Okay, that makes sense.
So basically, I guess you were just trying to get approved to cover, like, what, final expenses or just leave money behind for family?
Just.
I just like to. Like. So they'll have enough to bury me and, well, I want to be cremated, so have enough, you know, to cremate me or whatever. And they have some for themselves, I guess.
So. She said she wasn't interested. She never filled it out. It's interesting that I called because she's got other information. She has insurance already. She's getting offers from other. Other. All these other companies. And now she wants to be buried, cremated, and leave money behind. I mean, this is. This call is like, we've got to start asking these questions here to figure out what in the Lord's name is going on. Because she doesn't really know what she wants. She had her guard up because she probably thought I was some slummy telemarketer trying to sell her anything. And it sounds like her daughter might have actually filled this out to get the insurance. Right? So.
At this point, I wouldn't even call these objections. It's just confusion, Right. If we label it as an objection, we give the objection power, but this is just straight up confusion. She doesn't even know what's going on. I also have no idea what's going on, which is why I'm forced to ask questions. Most agents turn back when a prospect says they're not interested. But interest in itself, if you are not interested, is a level of interest. So we've just got to basically move them up the scale of more interested than not. And we can get that problem solved right there altogether. Because unless they're fully indifferent, we still have a shot here. So let's check out what she says next.
Okay. Gotcha. Gotcha.
All right.
And then I know you Said you had a work policy. Do you have anything else currently or what does that look like?
No, just my word policies.
I see. And so I guess you. You kind of realize, like, that thing expires and that's probably how we got here today then. Is that correct?
Yes. Like you said, expired the fact. Because like, a lot of my friends, they got fired, you know, and say they don't have anything, so.
Okay, so we took this from. I didn't fill it out. I'm not interested. I've never filled out in my entire life. To. What insurance is this? To. Yeah, my work policy expires, and that's why I want permanent life insurance. We've already gotten her to admit she wants life insurance.
So, you know, if I get caught in this situation, I'm not going to have any insurance.
Okay, that makes a lot of sense.
Her concern is that if she's fired, loses her job, or retires, she's not going to have life insurance.
Okay, well, yeah, let me see. Let me see what I can kind of do for you. The birthday I got for you here.
Was a Honda Sport.
Have you ever heard of a company called Grape?
So we go through here and start asking some questions. I figure out also the other reason that she's looking into life insurance is due to some health conditions that she's had here previously or just recently that she's really concerned about. She's not sure about what the future might hold if she gets fired. Her family's on the hook. She's concerned whether or not she filled it out. She's still a buyer. So as you can see here in this phone call, that music was louder than she was. I don't know if you can tell on the call recording, but I can barely hear her. But she actually ends up. Once we get through that, I think, yeah, you can hear, she actually turns the music off. This lady ended up buying a hundred and, like, almost $20 a month policy. And.
We were able to get her squared away and give her peace of mind. At the end of the call, we ended up being like, almost best friends. It was insane. She's super cool, great client, excited to help her and her family out. But as you can see, guys, it's our job to help these people understand what it is that they qualify for, what it is that they need. And we do that by asking them questions so that we understand what they have and what they need. That way we know where to direct them. Because if we just start trying to sell them a product or get them to do something that maybe they don't even need, that's when you start like, that's when not interested becomes indifferent. And we can't sell indifference. So ultimately, this call, I thought it'd be super helpful for you guys. If you want to see more calls like this, comment down below and click the subscribe button.
