Here's how to collect your vaginal health sample. First, open the packaging. You can discard the outer sleeve, but be sure to keep the box so that we can use it for shipping later. Inside, you'll find a welcome note from our founder, an instructional card containing your kit ID and steps to collect your sample, a swab, a collection tube, and a biohazard bag. With clean hands, open the swab by peeling from the plastic end. Gently remove the swab, being careful not to touch the tip. To collect your sample, insert the swab 1 to 2 inches into the vaginal canal. Gently rotate the swab in circular motions for about 20 seconds. Once you've collected your sample, unscrew the cap. Insert the swab into the tube, piercing through the foil seal and into the liquid. Snap the swab at the marked breakpoint and discard the remaining plastic handle. Now seal the tube tightly. Make sure that it's secured, and then invert the tube 5 times to fully mix the sample into the solution. Place the sealed tube into the biohazard bag and return your sample into the original box. The box comes with a prepaid shipping label, so just seal it and drop it off at your mailbox or your nearest USPS location. Once our lab receives your sample, you'll get your results in just a few weeks.
