Skip sales books and read for broader principles instead. Rich Dad Poor Dad sparked this speaker's reading habit. Napoleon Hill's Outwitting the Devil works best as an Audible narration, turning abstract ideas into engaging stories that build authority and intelligence.

If you want to become a better professional and have very impactful conversations and just increase your level of intelligence and authority with people and the value you bring in interactions, you don't need to read sales books. You should read books about business, about investing, about, you know, personal growth. There's like 3 or 4 books that I suggest everyone should read. One of them is The Greatest Salesman in the World, and it's not going to teach you sales techniques. It's so— you can read it in 3 hours. Another one is The Slight Edge by Greg Olson. I love Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Robert Kiyosaki. That's like the first ever book that kicked me into starting to like reading and learn and grow personally. There's The Richest Man in Babylon, fantastic book. And then everyone knows Napoleon Hill for Think and Grow Rich, but my favorite book is Outwitting the Devil by Napoleon Hill. And if you listen to that one on Audible, it's really cool. That one and The Richest Man in Babylon, they're really cool on Audible because they're kind of like stories. They teach lessons, principles for life, but they have great narration.
