In this short Monday‑morning video, the host delivers a “moment of yes” encouraging viewers to “align with the divine.” He defines the divine broadly—God, love, the universe, or any higher power—and frames alignment as a conscious decision to let go of over‑planning and mental rumination. Drawing on personal anecdotes about juggling parenting, work, travel, and scheduling, he describes how he often exhausts himself trying to control every moving piece. He then suggests pausing, stepping back, and handing the outcome over to the divine, which he likens to putting the remote control in a higher power’s hands. This act of surrender is presented not as passivity but as a way to reduce stress, gain peace of mind, and stay open to solutions that may arise. The speaker ends by inviting the audience to try this practice for the week, promising a calmer, more trusting mindset.

Hey, good morning everyone! Here's your moment of yes for Monday, October 12th, back in Northern Michigan. Look at those colors, y'all! Look at the colors. Yeah, look at that tree, right? That's the entire landscape of Northern Michigan right now. Doesn't stink. Uh, all right, your moment of yes for today: align with the divine. Align with the divine. Well, what does the divine mean to you? It's whatever That's, um, whether it's God, whether it's love, universe, um, higher power, right? Divine, divinity, goodness. Um, align with the divine. So I had lots of conversations this weekend about, you know, planning and, and, you know, planning parenting, work, career, you know, how is this going to work, how is this going to, you know, end, how is this going to transition, all this, all this different stuff. And if you're like me, you spend a lot of mental power, a lot of mental energy, time exhausting yourself, ruminating, planning, trying to move around pieces. And, um, and sometimes that works out, a lot of times it doesn't. And I catch myself all the time still trying to do that, but then, but then finding that pause, hitting that pause button, taking a step back, um, and, and being able to To just give it to the Divine. Like, I even did that last night when I was going to bed again. I was starting to reshuffle the next couple of weeks in November and, you know, soccer schedules and getting down to Florida and like all this different stuff. And Hollister's taking international trips and like the dog, and how is this all going to work out? And how am I going to— moving parts and that. And I, and I just like, all right, as I go to bed tonight, I'm just going to align with the Divine. Which means give it to the Divine. Aligning with the Divine is not figuring it out. Aligning with the Divine is, is basically letting go of the remote control so, so the Divine can go on autopilot and be like, kind of, let me take care of things from here. I got that. And so it doesn't stop me from having to, I guess, effort and still be open to solutions, but it, it, it, it gives me the peace of mind to know that I don't need to figure it out. It is going to figure itself out when I let the divinity stay in control. So it's a Monday. You have a lot of moving pieces going on in your life, I am sure. And so I challenge you, I invite you peacefully to align with the divine and just hand it over. Take a step back, listen, and then you'll know the next right step. That's your moment of yes for today. Have an awesome week, everyone.
