In this short solo motivational video, the speaker greets the audience on Tuesday, September 8th, and frames the day as a post‑Labor Day “moment of yes.” He reminds listeners that two‑thirds of the year have passed and that September marks a seasonal shift toward fall. The core exercise is a check‑in on each person’s “year‑word” – the speaker’s own word being “fulfilled/fulfillment.” He asks viewers to assess whether that word still aligns with their intentions, why it might have shifted, and what concrete actions they can take this week to re‑engage with it. He highlights the tendency to chase improvement (“I want things to be different or better”) versus appreciating the present, especially as the fall season brings a busier work schedule. The talk ends with an invitation to reset, prioritize the chosen word, and have an “awesome week.”

Good morning, everyone. It is Tuesday, September 8th, the day after Labor Day. I hope everyone had a great Labor Day weekend. Um, we're back up in northern Michigan after being gone for 3 weeks, and, uh, yeah, loving being— having a little break from the 100-degree St. Louis heat. So, so here we go. All right, so 2/3 of the year done. Uh, we're into September now. All right, it's kind of like home stretch, 4 months to go in the year, kind of a season shift. It feels like this is sort of the, the fall transition month. Um, we go back to the beginning of the year. What was your word for the year? Remember, my word was fulfilled or fulfillment. And use, use today, use this week as a little bit of a reset, a reboot. Back to that word that you had for yourself at, at the beginning of the year. How are you feeling with that? Is that, is that still a good intention for you? Uh, if not, why? Uh, and, uh, if so, what do you need to do this week to re-engage and, uh, re-prioritize that word? So for me, with, uh, fulfilled or fulfillment, what does that look like this week? And as I move into fall, which tends to be a busier season for my work, noticing my desire to wanna see that schedule fill up, noticing any sort of stress or anxiety around wanting it to be different, right? For me, fulfilled fulfillment is this like desire of I want things to be different or I want things to be better. And it's not that, you know, we're not sort of kaizen, constant improvement. But me, for me, it's noticing I want things to be better, uh, than they are right now instead of recognizing how great right now is. And so as we move into this week, reconnect with your word, reconnect with that intention, and, and, and what can you do this week, um, to re-engage and, and to, uh, prioritize how you can sink into, tap into that intention, that focus a little bit more as we head into our our final 4 months of the year. So there you have it. That's your moment of yes for this week. Have an awesome week, everyone.
