17 Weeks Left in 2026: How I'm Planning Another Six-Figure October

Trena Little made six figures in October 2025 and is rebuilding to repeat it. She deleted 54 underperforming YouTube videos, cut 11,000 dead email subscribers, and switched to paid workshops that closed four high-ticket clients in July. Her plan: three YouTube videos weekly in September, a virtual conference with live coaching in October, and price increases in December.

There are about 17 weeks left in this year depending on when you are watching this video, and last October was my best month ever in my business. But I started planning for October around this time. I honestly couldn't believe that we had gone over 6 figures in cash in one month, that I literally wrote out the math on paper and then it just didn't really set in until I got the P&L statement from my accountant. So with 17 weeks out, I wanna tell you what I'm doing right now to plan for another October moment, exactly what I'm doing and what you should do if you still wanna hit those revenue goals that you have set for 2026. First, I think it's important that I really share with you what I've learned so far this year because this year is completely different than last year. So I'm going into October in a different way. I had planned for this year to rinse and repeat a weekly webinar. Every single week cuz it was doing well in 2025. In fact, I talk more about it in this video up here. It's where I talk about the difference between a free workshop and a paid workshop. But the gist of it is while the webinar was generating me leads, 13,604 to be exact, only 0.7 of those leads were converting into clients. And so I just assumed we would collect those leads that weren't converting into clients into our virtual event, which we do 2 times a year in April. But I was completely wrong. That April virtual conference was completely not what I expected. We did end up selling more tickets to the April event than we did in October of last year, but the room was totally wrong. The vibe was wrong. The people were completely wrong. And I ended up making $30K less cash than I did in October with my virtual conference, which was my biggest month ever in my business. I actually broke all of this down for my clients in a State of the Union that I did in June. I haven't shared that here on my YouTube channel. If that's something that you would like to watch me break down everything that I did the first half of the year, go ahead and comment state down below and I'll consider publishing that for you. And when I was analyzing my business for that State of the Union, I realized that it wasn't that my offer was wrong. I was attracting the wrong traffic. And one of the biggest platforms that was doing that was my YouTube channel. And so again, I have another video where I talk about how I deleted 54 videos, but that was the start of readjusting the traffic for my business. And I did that in early July. Also during July, while I was on vacation, I sat down to really think about what is my enough number? Like how much do I really want to make while I also get to take Fridays off? I get to work 5 hours a day. Like what is that enough number? And when you take the time to sit down and do that, you're probably going to be 100% surprised. How small it actually is and how many sales you really need to make to hit that number. So at the end of July, when I started to make this pivot for my business, I did a paid workshop and that paid workshop ended up closing 4 clients at a higher price point than what my webinar was. And so I decided, knowing what I've found out for myself, if it works, don't break it. So I literally just rinsed and repeated that entire paid workshop, for August, same slide deck, same sales page, same emails, same ads. And we were able to more than double those clients that we got in the August paid workshop. And we had less people even sign up for our $27 ticket. So we had less people but better people and the vibe totally changed. That's where we're at right now. That's where I'm standing as I'm going into September, trying to finalize what I want to do these last 17 weeks of 2026. So for September, the main goal is to start building the room for my October 2026 virtual conference. I'm going to continue creating YouTube videos. YouTube videos is number one no matter what, because there is no other discoverable platform like YouTube. Instagram can't beat it. TikTok can't beat it. People go to YouTube to find a solution, and this is how you get found in 2026. So in August, I was publishing three videos a week. In September, I'm going to continue doing that. Only I'm going to shift out one pre-recorded video for a weekly live video. Now that my YouTube channel is finally getting adjusted in the algorithm, we should be bringing the right people to the channel. I am also posting on Instagram. So I'm about to wrap up August, where I've been incredibly consistent posting every day Monday through Friday. Again, the whole goal for this. Is to build an audience, build fresh eyes, because I can't just keep launching to the same people over and over and over again. You're going to exhaust that. So I am taking all avenues, but I have very strong boundaries on what I will and won't do on Instagram. Will that hinder my growth? Probably, but I'm not there to go viral. The other thing I'm doing is emailing my list 2 to 3 times a week, sharing valuable information, starting to make my case for why they need to be at the virtual conference. Now I'm not gonna share that there's a virtual conference, but I know what my topic is. I'm gonna start bringing to the forefront what they need to be thinking about so when they see me release my virtual conference, they're like, that's exactly what I need right now. Now the other thing that I did with my email list just a couple weeks ago is we deleted over 11,000 email subscribers because they were cold, they were dead. We tried to reengage them, we did what we could, and now we are offloading that dead weight and our open rates are better, our click-through rates are better. And so I'm really excited to hear what September is going to do for us. I'll also let you in on a little secret since we're just friends here. Don't tell anybody, but I'm still considering doing my paid workshop again in September, just rinse and repeating it because it did so well. But I got to ruminate on a little bit. I'm going to take the weekend to think about that and decide if I want to do that or if I want to put all of my eggs and all of my energy into the virtual conference in November— I mean October. So moving into my plan for October, Obviously the main event is the virtual conference. I mentioned I'm going to be going live about a week prior to the virtual conference. This also allows me to kind of skip recording YouTube videos because if I'm posting live videos on YouTube, I already got content there. So I'm killing two birds with one stone and I'm adding things to the virtual conference that I've never done before. So I'm going to be adding a live coaching call when you buy a ticket. I'm going to be adding live demos that you can participate in. I'm also going to be adding work with me sessions. So I'm really excited with the idea of this virtual conference and how it's growing from what I've done in the past and how I can see it really showing you how YouTube is absolutely doable as a business owner and how I can be the one to really make it happen for you. But I can't go into October without doing the audience built in September, without getting in front of new people, without getting in front of more eyeballs. Does that make sense? And I'm not adding anything else to October because I have 2 conferences that I've got to fly to. So I got to be really cautious about my time and not putting too much into October and burning myself out. And then I have planned for November to be quiet. Now I am getting closer to the end of the year where I do tend to work less, but last November when I had the best month ever, I also had the most onboarding of new clients that I ever had. And so while I was excited and I celebrated the best month ever by going to Disney World with my kids, which was Already planned, but I literally logged off for an entire week and just spent the time with them. When I came back, I was completely overwhelmed, stressed out, and freaking out because I had all these new clients to onboard. So knowing that, and just assuming that we're gonna have another great October in 2026, my plan for November is to onboard and relax. My kids have Veterans Day off. We travel on Thanksgiving to my in-laws. And sometimes we book a hotel right on the beach. And so I can spend my days just lying in my bed overlooking the ocean. And that's hopefully the plan for this November. And then in December, one of the best things you can do for your business is really think about your audience, your clients, your students, and what are they thinking about at the end of the year? December last year was another great month for me. In fact, it fell right behind October in one of our best months ever. And we did CEO Day. Now thinking about all of you that are watching, many of you are business owners. You're starting to plan your next year and you're starting to think, what can you do differently? And so when I host my CEO planning day, a lot of what I share in that planning day is things to open your eyes to what went wrong so that you can get to your goals. And 9 times out of 10 for my clients, it's a traffic problem. You don't have enough audience or you're not getting enough traffic to a sales page to hit your sales goals. And then I show you how YouTube does that for you and that really works amazing. And then the last week of December, you can really use that as urgency because if you're going to increase your pricing, this is the best time to do it because it's a new year. You can increase pricing because of the end of the year and you can let people know, hey, this is the last chance to get this program at this price point because it is going up. And that was huge for us last year, really closing at the end of the year. And I wasn't even online. These were pre-scheduled emails that I sent out because something that I do, and Aaron, who is a full-time employee of mine, we do not work the last 2 weeks of the year. We are closed down, shut down, dark over here to spend those times with our kids and our family. So I wanna share with you, if all of this falls to pieces and I can only do one thing, what would that be? And then I wanna tell you what you should be doing the last couple weeks of the year. The one thing would be posting to YouTube. That should be no surprise because you wanna think about your business as a car and your car needs gas to run and an audience is that gas. And if you aren't constantly getting in front of a new audience or building an audience, your business isn't going to move anywhere. So YouTube, no matter what I do in my business, always comes first. So what I think you should do thinking about the end of the year here is think about how you are building an audience. If you aren't hitting your sales goals, if you aren't booking the clients that you want to, you have to get in front of more people. And most of the time you're not on a discoverable platform for people to find you. People aren't searching Instagram to have a problem solved. People aren't searching TikTok to have a problem solved. You really need to start thinking about how you're using YouTube in your business and how it could totally change the amount of people that you could bring to your business. Then I want you to think about what can you commit to in September that's going to help you build an audience? Maybe it is YouTube. I would say YouTube, but September is for audience building and really preparing your email list on a topic that a launch event is going to be about. Then obviously October is a launch event. Now this doesn't need to be a full-blown virtual conference. You could do a webinar, you could do a paid workshop, you could just do like a work with me session or a coaching session, a live group coaching session, but you want to have something live that people can engage with you because I really think this makes the difference in Any of my live events, when people see me work, when I am able to give feedback and insight and advice live on the spot, they realize she's the real deal. Like she is not coming up on ChatGPT or Claude, coming up with all of her answers, coming up with her scripts. Like she can literally do this right in front of you. So that is huge. So I would build your audience in September, create a live event that you can show up for your audience and make them trust you. And then in November, Just take a rest, regroup, see what's going on, see if you've got closer to your sales goals, get some feedback from the people that joined your live event. Then think about what is your audience doing or planning for at the end of the year. Another idea, a lot of people do vision board workshops or goal setting workshops. If that is what your audience really enjoys, this could be a great opportunity in December to get them engaged with you, to lead them to your coaching program or your offer. And also think about increasing pricing and adding that urgency to why they should join before January 1st. Now there's one thing that I didn't mention. I didn't mention Black Friday sales. I don't typically do Black Friday sales. I've done it a few times, my own products, other products. I just don't like it. So I don't incorporate that into my November plans. I know what I am gonna be doing the next couple of weeks. Let me know down in the comments, what is one thing you are going to be doing between now and end of the year. And if you really want to think about YouTube as your potential discovery platform, I want to show you exactly how I create a system with one video a week that brings in sales every single week, not only for me but for my clients. And it's a full video walkthrough of exactly what I do, and it is on your screen right now that you can watch next.
