3 Simple ways to create YouTube content so its easier to do

Trina Little shares three practical methods to streamline your YouTube content creation workflow. She covers planning, editing, and generating video ideas so you spend less time on each upload and more time growing your channel.
When it comes to finding good YouTube videos, YouTube videos that your audience will watch, YouTube videos that will get you views. YouTube videos that will get you more subscribers. When I ask my customers, my clients, what is the biggest thing that's slowing you down with YouTube? It's coming up with good video ideas. So I'm hoping here today I can show you three different ways to, to make sure, one, that you can create YouTube videos quicker. But two, you can make sure you have really good video ideas that are going to get you views that are going to get you subscribers and ultimately drive you customers, sales leads, clients. So go ahead and if you are watching, say hello in the chat again. I want to make sure that we are good to go. Everybody can hear me say hi in the chat, so I know you're there. I hear that we are lagging a little bit. My name is Trina. If you didn't watch yesterday, I talked about specifically, let me remember, I talked about three easy ways to make money on YouTube. Okay? So if you didn't watch yesterday's, definitely see how you can make Easy Money on YouTube. This is my specialty. I work with business owners who want to use YouTube as a lead generator, as a client generator who doesn't want to be on social media all the freaking time. And so this particular session, I want to make sure I can show you that coming up with video ideas and then creating the video ideas are easy as well. Because when it comes to video ideas, they're not all created equally. There are good video ideas and there are not so good video ideas. So the first thing I want to talk about is I know the hardest part of YouTube and videos is probably editing. So. So if editing tends to slow you down or seems to be the hardest part, go ahead and comment editing in the chat so that I know that's kind of what's slowing you down. And maybe you're like, well, the videos on YouTube just take so much longer to edit. I would rather just stick to Instagram. Okay, but what if I told you that I'm the Queen of turning YouTube into an efficient, simplified process that you can actually do and stay consistent? All right, so I see a couple of people who are saying editing. I see you. So sorry. I just totally lost where I was on my notes. You guys, live is not my thing. It makes me want to throw up. So I did want to tell you the reason I'm talking about this point is because I pulled my audience and you all tell me that coming up with good ideas, not wanting to waste time is your biggest problem with YouTube. So go ahead and comment me. I asked you about editing if you're struggling with editing and comment me if you have a hard time coming up with video ideas. Again, I want to see what. I want to get a pulse for what you all are feeling here. So the first thing I want to show you or talk to you about is how to make creating content easier. So the first thing that you need to do before you create a video is create a video game plan. I'm going to show that here in a minute on YouTube. But the reason why your video editing takes so long or feel so frustrating is because you have a lot, a lot of raw footage to edit. And the reason you usually have a lot of raw footage to edit is because you don't have a video game plan. And so on YouTube, I'm going to show you specifically what my video game plan looks like. I think this is going to be it. You can see that before I film any YouTube video, the first thing that I do is I come up with a title of the video. And if you're watching on Instagram, you'll have to check out the YouTube video to see what I'm showing my video game plan. I come up with the title of the video idea before I do anything else. And I also come up with the thumbnail. Thumbnail concept. Yes. You'll have to check out the YouTube video if you're on Instagram, because I can't share on both the same time. Because if you know what your title and your thumbnail is, first, this is going to get you views because then you're going to create your content around the title and thumbnail. And then once I have that, I create my content. All right? I know exactly what I'm going to say in my YouTube videos. I know exactly what B roll I need to get in my videos. I know the concept and all the things I need to do on the day of filming to make it quick and efficient as possible. And if you don't have this before you film, this is what's taking you a long time to film. And this is what's going to continue to take a long time to film if you don't have your video game plan in place. Now, a video game plan is something that I give my clients all the time. Every single one of my clients use this. I review almost every single one of my clients video game plans. I can't tell you how many video game plans I review a day, because that's one of the benefits they have of working with me is I will help them come up with a title thumbnail. I will help them write their script. I will help them write their hook. And if they have that solid game plan, they know they can film quicker. They know they have less to edit. So when it comes to doing less time with video, you have got to have this video game plan in place so that you're not spending so much time filming and editing. Okay, now the next thing that you want to do, and I'm going to need some volunteers for a minute, I want you to share in the chat what is your niche? All right, Because I want to show you an example of how to find niche neighbors and what their outlying video ideas are. Because this is going to give you quickly what videos you should create. So go ahead and share what your niche is in the chat. Because if you use a tool like Vidiq or you just go to a niche neighbor, and a niche neighbor is like a competitor or somebody who talks about the same topics as you, or more specifically, someone who's talking to the same audience as you. You want to see what's performing well on their channel. Because if they're talking to the same audience as you, that particular topic that's doing well means your audience is interested in it. And that's a good video idea. So I have family photography from Nickens. I. You are on Instagram, so you're not going to see what I'm actually doing. So if you want to jump over to my YouTube channel, you'll see how I find outlier videos. So I'm going to go into YouTube and I need to share my screen real quick here on YouTube. And you're going to go ahead and search family photography. Right? Family photography. Oh, let's just do. Yeah, family photography. Now, when you're on YouTube, you can also filter your search results right here by channel. So we can find channels whose main topic is family photography as well. So I'm going to find a channel that has. Okay, here we go. The Milky Way. We're going to go to the Milky Way. So how do you get it? And I have Vidiq installed on my computer. And that IQ is a software YouTube. And what it's going to show me are any outlier videos this channel has. And we see right Here, see this 22 times. It's called Peeking Toe Wrap Tutorial. Peeking Toe Wrap Tutorial. So Nick and Snick, I don't know if that is something you do in the photography business, family photography business. It's more for newborns. But peeking toe wrap tutorial that video shows that it did two times, I mean 22 times more than that channel's average video. So something about that topic your audience is watching. So if you have something around peeking toe wrap or something about newborn tutorials specifically around that topic, that is a good idea. Now we're going to do one more real quick. We're going to do here Human Design in business. All right. And we're going to look at, let's see, we see the Human Design Academy is coming up. So Sydney, so you're obviously here that I can do this. So I pulled up the Human Design Academy. I'm going to go over to her videos and I'm going to scroll through to see if there are any particular videos that did better than average. And right here we see this one did 15, 15 times better than the channel's average human Design profile series. 4 out of 1 profile opportunistic investigator that did 15 times better than her channel average. Another one that did 7.3 times better was Taylor Swift's Human Design chart. Interesting. From Music to Activism Chart Dive series. So again, this is validating to me. These are video ideas that my audience is interested in. So how can I take that topic and make it my own? That is a good video idea. Okay, so that's a super quick way to come up with video ideas that you know, your audience is searching for. Now I do have one more way that's going to blow your mind again, if you're on YouTube, how to come up with video ideas. But I wanted to remind you, next Tuesday, a week from today, is when I'm hosting my evergreen and evermore virtual event. I'm going to walk you through exactly what you need to know about YouTube and how to create a 90 day plan to get your YouTube videos working for you within the next 90 days. By new Year's, you're going to have videos that are sending you email list signups that are sending you leads that are sending you core sales that are sending you clients. But you need to grab a ticket to this conference@trinalittle.net forward/evergreen. You're going to get seven days access to the replay. So if you happen to miss part of this series next Tuesday and it's only going to last from 11am Eastern to about 3 3, probably the latest. I do have to get my kids off the bus by 3:30, so it's not even a full six hours. But I'm going to show you how I have simplified YouTube for all of my clients inside my coaching program, how they're able to balance creating YouTube videos and and their business while staying consistent on YouTube. Because with one video a week on YouTube you can see consistent leads and sales so that you're not constantly posting on Instagram, posting on TikTok, posting on Snapchat, spending money on ads. YouTube can be a primary lead and sales generator for you. So make sure you do get a ticket for next week. Trina little.net forward/evergreen now this third way to come up with video ideas is more recent and I freaking love it because it's so easy. Remember that tool I talked about, Vid iq? Well they have an AI coach within their software and the reason why I like this AI coach is because if you have content on YouTube is going to take into consideration your content data and give you video ideas based on what's working on your channel right now. So let me show you here again on YouTube because I can't figure out Instagram yet, which is why I don't want to be on Instagram. But I'm going to go ahead and pull up Vidiq and show you. This is the AI Advanced chat. Now what I can do right here, it already has a prompt that says based on my channel, what video ideas do you have for me? I can simply click that button. It's going to come up with video ideas based on my data and I'm going to read to you here in a minute in Instagram the video ideas it came up with, which I have used before and have done pretty well for my channel. So it says right here the first video idea top five YouTube marketing strategies for 2024. It also gives me a thumbnail idea. So it says a vibrant eye catching thumbnail with the text 2024 YouTube strategies and a background of a YouTube interface. It says the target audience you're going to hit with this audience with this video is small business owners, online coaches and course creators looking to enhance their YouTube marketing efforts. Now another one it gives me is how to create engaging YouTube thumbnails that get clicks. Again, this is basing video ideas from the data it has from my YouTube channel. So it knows my YouTube channel is targeting course creator coaches, small business owners wanting to use YouTube. So again, this says what you want to do is dive into the art of creating compelling thumbnails that attract viewers, share design tips, tools and examples of successful thumbnails from your own channel and others. This makes coming up with the idea so important. But I'm going to show you during my conference Evergreen and Evermore conference next week. That is not just about the idea. Because I'm going to walk you through what videos YouTube pushes to people and why it pushes to people. Why it pushes those videos to people. Because it's not just the video idea, friends, you've got to think about. Is your title and thumbnail getting clicks? Is your audience retention good? Because YouTube will push videos based on performance. It doesn't matter how SEO your video is. If you do not have a thumbnail and title, that's getting people to click and you do not have a video that people are watching. YouTube's not going to push it to people, okay? But that is the power YouTube has when you do it right, YouTube will promote your content for free to the right people. When you have everything aligned properly, you don't have to spend money to get your videos in front of people like you do on Instagram and Facebook, where it's pay to play. Now, I do have a few minutes to answer questions. I'm going to ask two or three more questions, so pop them in the chat real quick. And I would love to know if you are coming to my conference. Go ahead and say me so I know who's coming. Again, I would love for you to grab a ticket. It is only $9 and seriously, you're going to get more than your money's worth. Once you do sign up, you're automatically unlocking a free bonus for you to watch. Once you watch that bonus, you're going to unlock another bonus. There are a total of free 4 free bonuses inside the conference portal when you sign up that you could start watching today. So not only are you getting the three conference sessions, but you are also getting four bonus workshops inside when you grab your ticket. Hi, Sydney, I'm glad you're coming. I see that you're coming. Fantastic. Yes. Obviously Instagram is providing me an audience if people are watching on Instagram 100%. But I'm going to tell you, Instagram drives me berserk because I Yesterday I posted a story. The first story got 80 views. The following stories, the three following stories didn't even hit 30 views. So, like, what game is Instagram playing? How do you succeed on Instagram? Do I need to be posting stories every day? Because that's a. Heck no. I am on Instagram right now because I'm preparing for this conference and I want to get the word out to this conference to as many people as possible. And. And that is why I'm on Instagram as soon as this conference is done next week, guess what? I don't need to show up daily on Instagram and I won't. I will show up on Instagram if I feel creative, if I want to test an idea. But I don't want to put my business eggs in the Instagram basket because it is so volatile. The algorithm is so much pay to play. If I'm not paying to get my content seen on Instagram, the only 5% of my audience will see my content. And that's a stat from Instagram. Only 5% of your audience will see your content on Instagram. So yes, I'm on Instagram right now trying to get your attention. Those of you that are on Instagram that can't get over to YouTube, but I can get my videos in front of way more people with one video a week than I can posting every freaking day on Instagram. So I'm here on Instagram and YouTube at the same time helping you all realize there is a better way, there is a brighter future if you just try out YouTube. So there was a question that came through. Sydney, we have not dropped the zoom link yet. So we have not dropped the conference Zoom link for next Tuesday. I will guarantee you will have that zoom link before we go live on Tuesday. So Dory Sydney, you're not missing anything with this link. I will definitely have that to you within the next couple of days. Any other questions that you all have about YouTube, about finding content ideas about making YouTube quicker because YouTube doesn't have to take up a bunch of time. My Specialty is simplifying YouTube for business owners. Finding these best video ideas that you're ready to buy. Viewer. Not just any viewer, your viewer who is ready to buy from you can find your videos quickly. That is my specialty. And again, I'm going to be diving into all of that during the Evergreen and evermore conference. Trina little.com for trina little.net forward/evergreen. Now, tomorrow I am going live again and I'm going to show you how I take my YouTube videos and do repurpose for Instagram again if I want to. If I'm going to go on a growth blitz and I want to try to grow my audience super quick and kind of go on like a growth sprint. I will do what I'm showing you tomorrow to turn my YouTube videos into Instagram content, specifically reels to get this influx of growth, kind of like I'm doing right now before an event. So I'm going to show you tomorrow how I do that. I'm also going to show you an 8i tool that we've been using that makes turning my videos into from YouTube into super quick reels and then also how I use my video game plan as well to turn my YouTube content into reels as well. When I want to be doing reels, I don't want to be changed. Instagram having to post every day, so it's when I want to create reels. Livestream consultant says when I post on my IG account, I only see less than 5% of my viewers see anything. Guys, it's not me making this up. Livestream consultants said less than 5% of her followers are seeing anything that she's posted. The followers people who elected to follow you that want to see your content and Instagram is not showing your content to your followers because you've got to pay to play on meta. It's plain and simple. If you're a business owner on Instagram, on Facebook, you have to Pay to play. YouTube is not there. I don't think YouTube's going to go there in the future either because YouTube's main goal is to keep people on the platform. So if you can create good content that people actually watch, YouTube will put your video in front of people. It will not suppress your content like Instagram and Facebook does. Again, in telling you there is a better way on YouTube, it doesn't be as complicated as you think. Come to Virtual event next Tuesday. Trina little.net forward/evergreen and evermore to see the new way of creating content on YouTube. Dream Bible Revolution. It means IG is pushing you to a new audience. If it is, it's not affecting my metrics on Instagram. It's not creating any new followers, it's not creating any more reach. So if you're seeing Instagram pushing it to a new audience, fantastic. I would also love to know your posting schedule because guess what? I'm not committing to showing up on Instagram every freaking day the rest of my life. So there's that. I can commit to one YouTube video a week. That's super easy and my systems allow me to do that. So make sure you come tomorrow. Again, same time, same place, 2:00pm Eastern Standard Time. If you want to be doing Instagram, I will show you how to take your YouTube videos and repurpose them on Instagram because that's the best way to do it. YouTube videos are going to have way more staying power than Instagram. So you want to focus on your YouTube videos first and then repurpose from YouTube. All right, if you guys have questions, please leave them in the chat. Please DM me. I look forward to seeing you tomorrow. And I look forward to those of you that have said you've signed up for the conference. I look forward to seeing seeing you.
