5 Ways to Make Money on YouTube 2018

I'm gonna be straight with you. Making money off of YouTube is very hard to do. But if you have a clear business model off of YouTube, it's much more easier to use YouTube strategically to help you grow and make more money in your business. Stick around, because in this video, I'm gonna share with you how you can make $100 on one YouTube video. Hi, my name is Trena, and on this channel I help creative entrepr you get on YouTube to grow your business. Now, I promise we talk about money, so let's just jump right into it. True life. I've never received a check from YouTube. I'm making my money from my business model off of YouTube, but I'm using YouTube very strategically to funnel people who watch my videos, who find me in search, over to my business. Let me show you how. The first way to really start making Money off of YouTube is to offer client services. If you have one on one client services, you basically only have room in your schedule for probably five to 10 clients, right? So you only need five to 10 very targeted viewers to get to watch your video, to convert them into clients till you're booked. Now, you might not think this could happen to you, but let me share with you a quick little story that happened to me earlier this year when my family and I were down with the flu. Like the whole house was sick. It, it was pretty much disgusting. But on a Friday, I had somebody email me and say, trina, I just found your channel and binge watched your content. I need you in my life. How do I hire you? She never knew who I was 24 hours prior to I was not working. I was not on Instagram, I was not storying, I was not tweeting. I was sick with the flu. But she found my videos. She connected with me. She was the exact person I was targeting. The. She wanted to hire me on the spot. By Monday, I had a brand new client while I was cleaning up kids from getting sick. That is how powerful YouTube can be if you use it strategically. The second way you can make money using YouTube is share your own products. Now, if you're an Etsy shop or you sell physical or PDF products, you can share them on your YouTube channel, walk through how you use them, how, how you put them in your process, or how you do something with that product. I have a student of mine who posted one video and shared her cheapest product, which I think was like $5. By the end of four days, four days, four days, she had made $150 just from one video in two days. Because she shared her product and how to use it, and people loved it and wanted to buy it. So if you don't have a product and you want to make money on YouTube, what are you going to do? Affiliates. I have another student of mine who did a video on a program she was an affiliate of, meaning when somebody signed up with her link, she got some money on that. She did one video, she had less than 200 subscribers on her channel, and she made over $200 off of that one video in less than a week. Just by showing people how she used something and recommended it to them and gave them the link to sign up for it. She got money for it. She didn't get money from YouTube. She got money from the company that she recommended. There's also another big way to make money on YouTube that not too many people talk about, but we kind of know about, and that's brand deals. You'll notice on podcasts, they have a lot of sponsors. You can do the same thing here on YouTube as well. Now, a lot of sponsors look for you to have a certain subscriber base, a certain viewer base. But you can start reaching out to smaller companies or maybe friends of yours to start creating these brand deal type videos so you can have a case study to pitch those bigger brands, like maybe LeadPages or ConvertKit or even like CoverGirl. But it's really important to have a case study. A great way to start building a case study is by using Audible. I will link my Audible down below, but by signing up for Audible, what you can do is you can track how many clicks you get and see how successful your program is going to see how you can pitch a brand deal later on. This next way is for the very beginner. Whether you have products, affiliates, brand deals or not, we all love Amazon. And you can create an Amazon store. One of my clients, she has an Amazon store where she recommends her favorite books, her favorite office supplies, like anything that's in there. Camera equipment she puts in her Amazon store. And then she'll maybe talk about a product in her videos and share the link to the Amazon store. Then she gets an affiliate commission for anybody that buys from her Amazon link.
