You want to have a YouTube channel for your business. You hear how important video content is. So what videos do you need to create for this YouTube channel that actually grows your business? In this video, I'm going to be sharing with you the five videos you can create for your YouTube channel that will help you convert viewers here on YouTube into paying customers or clients in your business. Hi, my name is Trena, and on this channel I help creative entrepreneurs just like you get on YouTube to grow your business. Now, if you're creating videos here, you want to make sure you're getting the biggest return on your investment. So if you're spending time creating these videos, you want to make sure these videos grow your business. These are the top five videos you need to be creating for a YouTube channel for your business if you want to see more viewers convert into actual money in your business. The first video is a channel trailer or your story. These are kind of two different videos. Your channel trailer here on YouTube should only be about 30 to 90 seconds long. That's it. And it's really just to grab people's attention when they come to your channel for the first time. Your channel trailer will play automatically. So it's important to get across what value you're going to bring to them and why they should subscribe in 90 seconds or less. This channel trailer isn't necessarily to convert people right now, but it's to convert people to subscribe to your videos to get to learn more about you and for you to build that know like and trust factor with them. Now, the My Story video is a separate video. You can do that may be a little bit longer, where you basically open up and let people really get to know you, share with them your journey, how you created your business, and really why you created your business. Not only can you use this video here on YouTube, but you could also embed it on your about section on your website so that people can get to know more about you. The second type of video you should have here on a YouTube channel for your business is a client interview. So get a client to pop on and maybe do a YouTube live or a Zoom call and upload it to YouTube and ask them, you know, what were they struggling with when they hired you? What was it like working with you? What was the outcome? Basically like a video testimonial? Video testimonials are so much more powerful than written testimonials because people can see what that client looks like. Are they happy? Are they excited? They actually get to see the emotion. And so it's much more likely to convert a viewer watching that to your client if they see it all on video. The third type of video you can create here is an educational video. And when I distinctly say educational, I'm talking more about a tutorial. So how can you walk somebody step by step through a process that they really need to learn or a process that will really help them along the way or. Or a process that they really need to know before they even work with you. Those are the types of videos you want to do for educational videos. And then the fourth type of video is a how to video. So maybe how to get started in a business or how to start your Instagram feed, where it's not so much a process video, it's more of an advice or tips video with that how to title at the beginning. Those are great to get a new audience over to your channel so you can start growing your reach to get more of those viewers into your business. The fifth video idea that you've got to have here on your business YouTube channel is a thought leadership video. So thought leadership really allows you to distinguish yourself as a leader in your industry and as an authority figure. These types of videos could be Q&As where you ask your community to send you actual questions that they have and you feature them and they love it. Trust me, they love this. And it will just help them feel closer to you and become a more loyal follower, which means more likely to convert. Other thought leadership type videos would be anything that's trending. So when Instagram TV came out, if you were an Instagram expert, what were your thoughts on igtv? They didn't have to be the thoughts of everybody else, but people would wanted to know what your thoughts of IGTV are because that distinguishes you as a thought leader that tells people that hey, this person knows what's going on in their industry and they're willing to talk about it and give their advice. Other ideas would be any type of advice. So sharing with people what you struggled with as you started your business or you started your Instagram account, what mistakes you went through. These are all great thought leadership videos that you can have on your business YouTube channel that will help you ultimately convert those viewers into clients or customers. I would love to hear which video you're thinking about adding to your YouTube business channel.
