Want to see what it's like for a day in the life of an entrepreneur working from home? Stick around because I'm bringing you along for my entire day. My name is Trena. If you are new here and I started this channel to help creative entrepreneurs like you get on YouTube to grow. Like I said today, I'm going to bring you along for what it's like for me to work in a day. Today specifically is a Tuesday and it's the longest day that I have available to work without kids in the house. So my husband takes the kids to his parents house around 6am and they don't generally get home till about 5. So this is kind of my day to focus in on my business. But since some things have changed around here, I also have some client work to do. So I'm gonna show you how I switch hats back and forth between all the things that I've gotta do. So if you've been watching my videos here on my channel, you know I am trying to incorporate more habits and routines into my schedule. And so this week specifically, I'm really focusing in on my health because my kids and I have been sick for like the past three, three weeks. So this morning I got up at 5am, I walked on the treadmill for half an hour. I got up. I also made a smoothie because I'm following a five day detox kind of meal plan from Tone it Up. I'll link them down below. It's not that difficult of a detox plan. It's basically just eating real food, so fruits, vegetables, no dairy, that type of thing. So I'm really focusing in on my health this week. But while I was drinking my smoothie, I wrote my newsletter for tomorrow because I announced a new weekly show I'm doing on Facebook. And what I'm gonna be talking about, if you're watching this, you can go over to my Facebook page and see the replay. But what I'm talking about is how I'm making more money by doing less. What? You don't believe it till it actually happens to you. And that's what's been happening. I have this little checklist that a friend of mine sent and I try to keep tasks here. So my newsletter done, I turned on the welcome sequence. And so now before I move to client work, I want to go through my finances. And I'm really trying to do this every single month just so that I can stay on top of my taxes. Because I'm gonna tell you, this past year's taxes was not Fun to pay in one giant lump sum. So I'm gonna drink a little bit more coffee and maybe spruce this up. I also need to film my power sheets video for all of you and go live in my Facebook group. So I'll be right back back and kind of look more alive. What I want to do is I want to film my Power shapes video and then get ready to go live here on Facebook. But if you notice, I've recently switched my office around and I've got to put the blankets back down to absorb the sound. So you'll be able to see in the next clip that I share with you how much of a difference. Having something on this floor, which is like a tile hardwood floor right now, and throwing blankets down really, really makes a difference with your audio. So I'm not sure when my camera actually turned because my card ran out of memory. But you can already tell the difference that just laying down these blankets really makes. So I've got two blankets there, I've got a comforter down here and a feather bed down there. And I also set up my lights in like less than 10 minutes. Getting things in and out can take up some time, but once you know where things get go then it's a lot easier. Normally I use my blue yeti, but anybody else have the issue with the cord bending and not working? So I ordered a new cord. In the meantime I'm going to be using my lapel mic again and I'm going to film my power sheets video. Alright, so just like that I have my goal video filmed. I'm going to do a little bit of B roll just to show my actual power sheets, just to split it up a bit. And then I'm going to have a co working day, a co working hour at 10:30 and I'm going live at 10. This is kind of how my mornings go. As long as I know what I'm doing every single hour of the day. That's how I'm able to get so much. So now I am just getting ready to go live on my Facebook group page. Let's check out what the camera looks like. It's not the best. I'm gonna scooch over this way a bit cause I can see myself in the camera. Might have to prop my computer up. So do it when you are in a bind. Prop that up on that book. If you follow me, you'll know that I currently have all my Facebook lives post planned here. So today we are talking about how I'm doing five videos a week. And then tomorrow I'm going live on my business page to talk about how I'm doing less but making more. So that's kind of how I plan everything out. So a few of the ways that I try to stay healthy while working at home because you know, it can be so easy to just grab whatever's lying around. But I try to meal prep on Sundays and this has honestly been game changer for me and my health. And when I do it well and consistently, I usually feel the best. I have the most energy and I follow tone it up. So this week I I made spinach salads for my husband and I with chickpeas and cauliflower rice and sunflower seeds. And then another thing that I do to just get steps in instead of sitting at my desk all day and working is instead of using the bathroom upstairs, I will go downstairs to the bathroom. It's as easy as that. It's going down and up the steps a couple extra times a day and it just gets you flowing. And I try to get up just about every hour. So since I got everything done on my checklist for this morning, I'm gonna eat my lunch while I watch some tv. I'm currently watching the Royals on E. It's my guilty pleasure and one of my favorite shows actually. So I'm gonna finish that up. I started it on the treadmill this morning and then dive into client work and I got about four and a half hours of client work to do and I do track my hours. I'm going to show you that when I'm done eating. So the rest of the day is going to be kind of boring for you to watch. I'm just going to be updating monthly YouTube channel reports and going through some audits to help my clients reach their YouTube goals. I would love to hear if you have a similar day to day routine or if every single day is different for you. And don't forget to click subscribe on this channel because I'm uploading new videos every single day of the week to help you grow on YouTube. Thank you so much for watching and I will see you in the next video. Bye.
