And Monday we talked about setting up your channel. Yesterday we talked about branding your channel and today we're talking about content strategy. Specifically, we're going to talk about video ideas and how to find them, where to find them, what's a good idea? How do you keep coming up with ideas? So let me just check the comments here. See, we got Montreal, Finland. Thank you everybody so much for being here. I really appreciate you. I'm actually going to not be on the camera much today because I'm going to show you how to do things, which I have my makeup done and I even have lipstick on today. And I'm not going to be having my camera on me, but I want to show you guys exactly how to start researching these video ideas. So let me go ahead and flip over the camera. And also real quick, while I do have the camera flipped over, I'm not going to see your comments. Maybe I should grab my laptop so I can. But I won't see your comments right away. So don't worry if I'm not answering your questions. I will get back to it, I promise. So let me flip on over here. Flip my screen over so I can start showing you how to start searching video ideas. I love all you guys chatter over there in the chat box. I love it. I love you guys getting to know each other. And also be sure that you subscribe to each other, get to know each other, watch each other's content, share each other's content, comment on it. That's what I'm creating this community for, is for everybody to just get to know each other and to have a support system in YouTube because I know YouTube can be a complicated place to really grow your community. So I'm actually pulling up my laptop right now so I can see your comments. So bear with me one second. Remember, if you haven't shared this, make sure you share it. Give it a thumbs up. It really just helps me know what you guys like as far as content. All right, so I got your comments up just in case you have any questions. So let's just jump right into this. I know a couple of people in the group and what they do. I'm sorry. So I'm going to use their niche as examples. So I know somebody is a wedding planner. So what you want to do to start researching your video ideas is just go to YouTube, go up here to the search bar and start typing Wedding planning. Here are some great ideas right off the bat that you can validate. These are good because they're popping up. YouTube is trying to predict what you're going to finish your phrase out as. And these are the top search phrases because this is what people typing into YouTube so you could do wedding planning on a budget. Wedding planning series. So maybe you have a whole list of video ideas on wedding planning and you create a playlist. Enlist that playlist. Wedding planning series because that's a top search phrase for wedding planning. Wedding planning binder. Maybe you explain what to put in your wedding planning binder advice. Another great tip is to use the year so wedding planning tips, maybe 2017. So let's just click on one of these and see how this can also spawn off more ideas. So let's go to Wedding planning advice. That's your new video idea, but you want to come up with some more video ideas. So click on Wedding planning Advice and you can see what is ranking here. You see I use this little Google Chrome plugin called Vidiq and this is for free. You can go to Vidiq and download the free Google Chrome plugin and it's going to show you what tags these people are using. So for the top three people, the top two people what tags they are using. So this person has video on wedding planning tips and some of the tags she's using is how to plan a wedding. Helpful wedding planning tips. That would be a great idea because it's very niche. So you could start ranking your video for that topic. What else do we have down here? 5 things to know before your wedding day. So maybe start to type in what to do before your wedding day. So you type that in and you see it has over 22 million search results. You can see what types of videos are ranking, what titles they are using just to really spawn off some ideas for you to start creating. Another tool that I use is Tubebuddy and it's this guy right up here. Again, it's another Google perm plugin. You can get a free version. So I used tubebuddy and I used the tag Explorer. So we were searching wedding planning tips, right? Wedding planning tips. And this tool is going to tell you if it has high competition or low competition and whether it has high search volume or low search volume. So as it comes up, how are we doing? You guys getting this? Does this kind of spawn some ideas? So if you're using just the title wedding planning tips, it's not a very good key word. So you can see it has an overall bad keyword search because it has a low search volume but super high competition.
