This is a YouTube video titled "Brittany Berger - Youtube Bootcamp Testimonial" containing a testimonial from Brittany Berger recorded in October 2017. Brittany, a content marketer and writer, shares her experience overcoming challenges to launch her YouTube channel with the help of Trena Little's YouTube Bootcamp, highlighting Trena's supportive role and the positive impact on her content marketing efforts.
Hi, I am Brittany Berger. I am a content marketer and writer. And this year I set the goal to get on YouTube. The whole content marketing about content marketing and blogging about blogging niche is insanely crowded with so many amazing people creating amazing content. But I started to notice that not many people were doing video and even less people were doing video well. And if I do say so myself, I'm pretty entertaining. So I knew that video would be the best, best way for me to stand out. And I was determined to do it right, which for a perfectionist is very intimidating. I thought I'd be held back without having a full camera, that my background would be boring without a cute home office. And I knew from following Trina that YouTube SEO was so new and different from any optimization I'd done before. And overall I was just really paralyzed with self consciousness. YouTube Bootcamp broke down everything so well, so easy to follow, so that I really only had to think about one thing at a time. Trina explains all of the optimization and the planning and the editing so well, and I really liked how it was broken up into all the different stages of launching a channel. But my favorite part was just Trina. Honestly, she is so supportive and attentive and just gives you tons of love and support and help. And since really my biggest issue with getting started was like imposter syndrome and just self consciousness and fear and stuff like that. Having that cheerleader is absolutely the reason that I got my channel launched. And I only launched my channel less than a month ago. I only have three videos and the reaction has been insane. Two of my content marketing clients actually had me creating content and campaigns around video marketing for them. Now my posts on LinkedIn, which had been stale and unengaging for months, are now getting dozens of comments and hundreds of views. And it's still early, but the master plan of standing out seems to be going right on track.
